Kindness and friendliness of the staff, simple but well-kept location, delicious food and excellent value for money. I hope to return in the evening, on a future trip to Salerno, to try the pizzas. I highly recommend it!

03/04/2024: The food was delicious. There was an English menu and the gentleman was helpful in his recommendations on what to order. The canneloni, spaghetti with clams, and grilled sea bream were tasty, and the seafood was fresh. The tiramisu was very good. Portion sizes were good.

18/03/2024: Excellent restaurant for tasting cod in all the best ways to cook it. The chef is very good at preparing dishes which are never salty and are always tasty and delicate. The appetizers are all worth trying and the fried food is very well done. The first courses were very well executed and everything was served with care, precision and kindness. Staff always courteous, quick and attentive. Parking is free on the street. Fair prices for the quality of the raw material. I didn't try the pizza but I will return to try other dishes. I highly recommend it

05/10/2023: Great waterfront location, outstanding restaurant, super friendly staff. The only downside is it's right next to the road, but this is not uncommon in the area and we didn't notice the noise except during dinner.

19/03/2024: Excellent dough and ingredients. Best pizzeria near Salerno. A pizza of this level can only be found in Naples and not always.

07/02/2024: Nice place, small but welcoming. Really friendly and helpful staff, quality products, delicious pizza, very light and well seasoned. The only negative note was that the pasta omelette was still cold to the core when served. For the rest, a nice experience to repeat.

27/03/2024: da Nello is the place to go for delicious, authentic Cilento Coastal cuisine in Santa Maria di Castellabate. We ate here three times during our stay and every dish we tried was terrific! Some of the standouts were starters like the stuffed zucchini flowers (Fori di zucchini ripieni), artichoke and octopus salad (polio e carciofi all'salata), primi including the spaghetti con le vongole (clams),paccheri with swordfish and eggplant (pesce spade e melanzane) and any of the grilled or fried fish for the mains. Nello makes everything fresh-- he even bakes the bread himself. Service is attentive and Christina will guide you through the menu even if you don't speak Italian.

26/03/2024: I do not recommend for vegetarians and vegans. There is a single vegan dish with the added possibility of replacing the vegan burger in this dish with the meat burger in the different sandwiches. The vegan burger is very salty and chewy. It would be appropriate to add ad hoc vegan sandwiches for those who do not eat meat or animal derivatives because sandwiches designed for omnivorous people are not easily adaptable to this type of diet (which is linked to an ethical choice and not a whim!) However, the paprika twister chips are delicious!
