06/03/2026: A simple yet pleasant provincial restaurant. The dining room staff was the highlight of the experience: professional, courteous, and attentive waiters throughout the service. The food was average, good but unremarkable, with appropriate portions and carefully prepared dishes. The location is on a provincial road, so the view isn't particularly spectacular, but the restaurant is still welcoming and easy to reach. Overall, a good experience, ideal for an unpretentious lunch or dinner.

11/01/2026: Nice, well-maintained atmosphere with helpful staff. It's inconceivable that a restaurant like this doesn't stock lactose-free mozzarella these days. Leaving that aside, you deserve a lawsuit because all your guests were sick due to the poor quality of your food. Never again.

12/02/2026: I remembered this pizzeria with a huge veranda in front. I think it must have been out of order because it's gone now—the veranda, of course, but the pizzeria, fortunately, is still there. My wife and I went there a few days ago. The pizza was excellent, the price was fair, and even affordable. Nothing like the other famous pizzeria not far from here, where you even pay for the air conditioning and the pizza isn't superior at all—quite the opposite, I'd say. I had a Montanara, and they didn't wait for it to deflate before pouring the sauce on top. That's never happened before, but the visual effect was remarkable. The only thing missing was the slice of mozzarella, which I'll add next time. The other pizza was the "Concettina," which was also very good, with prosciutto crudo and the rest in the empty corner of the plate as a side dish. It's a novelty that's not a bad thing, and perhaps it has its merits. The place isn't the end of the world, but who cares? I focus on the quality of my food first, the rest comes later, and in any case, the tabletops are marble, as is traditionally the case in all pizzerias. I'd recommend it, and I'll be back soon.

06/03/2026: I can highly recommend Pizzeria 'O Maharaja. The owners are extremely friendly and especially welcoming to children, making you feel right at home. The food is also delicious; we had the classic Pizza Napoli. If you're looking for good pizza at fair prices in a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative. Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

25/02/2026: Terrible Entrance right in the middle of a construction site without using temporary partitions to promote the location and the view: before reaching the dining room, we walked among rubble and plastic bags. Food: Appetizer: bland clam soute Salmon, octopus, and shrimp trio: the salmon was decent, but both the octopus and shrimp were bland and very defrosted on a bed of stale lettuce. First courses: Lemon risotto, overflowing with cream and butter, arrived cold (I imagine it was prepared that morning and then reheated roughly before being brought to the table). Spaghetti with clams: the clams were full of sand, and the pasta was overcooked and "rinsed" in tomatoes. We asked to speak to the owner, who initially introduced himself as such but then reconsidered his role and, in any case, refused to come to the table. At the payment stage, we explained everything in detail, and the response was: Madam, this restaurant is obviously not for "you," they don't even know the formal "lei"! Strongly not recommended! The food is truly awful!

06/01/2026: We visited this restaurant on New Year's Eve, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was clearly overcrowded; it felt like they'd let in far more customers than they should have. This negatively impacted the overall service. The wait was incredibly long, both to be served and between courses. The food, in addition to arriving late, was of poor quality and not up to par for a supposedly special evening like New Year's Eve. The catering seemed improvised, almost "made yesterday," with little organization or customer service. The entertainment was also terrible: there was practically nothing planned for the children, except sitting and drawing. There was no room to move, play, or do any kind of activity. Their response: we weren't ready to welcome 200 people, my dear, YOU ARE worthy of a lawsuit! The only good thing was the piano bar and "some" waiters who, alas, poor things, didn't even know what to say!!! An experience I unfortunately wouldn't recommend. When we got home, we had the classic "milk soup" with artisanal panettone, and that's exactly what you'd expect. NEVER AGAIN!!!

03/01/2026: I'll start by saying I've eaten there a couple of times. The first time was two years ago on New Year's Eve, and I have to say I ate very well. This time it was truly horrible. New Year's Eve dinner. 1) At 8:00 PM we went in, sat down at the table, and waited over an hour and a half for the appetizer. 2) The appetizer. It said the CT was bringing battered cauliflower fritters, aka zeppoline... There were only two. 🤦‍♂️. The calamari was raw, hard, and cold. The cod was soft and tasteless. 3) At 10:40 PM, after an hour of waiting, the lobster ravioli with two mussels arrived (there were actually two). 4) People, tired of waiting, got up to dance in that tiny space, which unfortunately I gave up on dancing at a certain point because the waiters were running behind me. 5) The second course, no comment on the taste. At 11:45 PM, while we were eating the second course, we found ourselves toasting. The side salad was raw and tasteless. 6) At midnight, no lentils. The dish arrived at 12:40 AM with the pandoro cake nearby. 7) Tired, we went home around 1:00 AM without fruit or coffee. Terrible service in the kitchen. They chose to have more customers and poor service.

08/01/2026: If you love the Neapolitan pizza classification, meaning "a rot e carret" (toasted bread), without any fuss, you're in the right place! Reasonable prices, friendly and always helpful staff. A truly pleasant surprise!

29/12/2025: A trusted favorite, an institution in the Phlegraean district of Bagnoli. Excellent pizzas and fried foods, from simple potato croquettes to classic and unusual frittatas.

03/01/2026: I had ordered pizzas for 8:45 PM. After an hour and 15-minute wait, accompanied only by repeated "the pizzas are in the oven" messages, I decided to ask for a refund due to the poor organization. The cashier, who was completely incompetent, kindly tried to prompt me to order three times, but was completely ignored. The pizza was good, no complaints about the quality, but the service was truly disappointing.

03/06/2025: The pizza reminded me of an 80s style: the idea of ​​the star shape for the pizza of the same name is interesting, with different flavors on the tips, but the flavor is confusing and the whole thing is too heavy. The dough is hard to digest and deserves more attention. Positive note for the crocchè, good and offered at a really competitive price.

22/09/2025: We stayed for eight nights, and had a lovely time with no complaints. Guido and his team and all very helpful and friendly, and he gave us lots of advice on what to do and how to get around the island, which improved our stay. He also arranged our transfers to and from Napoli airport (car-->ferry-->car), which removed a lot of stress and worked perfectly. The views are great, and the hotel is nicely located away from the busy streets - so long as you don't mind walking uphill. The restaurant is also really good - both in quality and value. If/when we go back to Sant' Angelo we will definitely stay here again - it's a lovely hotel, and very reasonably priced.
