10/08/2024: En ce samedi 3 août - jour de marché a Domodossola - la file d'attente pour les glaces artisanales du Bar Moderna était interminable. Après dégustation, j'ai trouvé leur glaces bien crémeuses, suffisamment équilibrées sans être trop sucrées. Le plus petit gobelet permet de choisir 2 parfums parmi la dizaine proposée, des parfums plutôt communs, à l'exception peut-être du parfum 'popcorn'. Prix très corrects, une bonne adresse pour une bonne petite glace avant ou après le train.

19/04/2025: We Calabrians found ourselves by chance in this club to watch Italy Switzerland at the European Championships, I had a lot of fun, with pasta aglio e olio and local cheeses/local cured meats the evening passed in maximum conviviality.

22/03/2025: Family atmosphere, kindness, hospitality, and good food. I stumbled upon this little place by chance and was pleasantly surprised! I hope to return and find the same welcome.

07/10/2024: Ricco il menu alla catra e anche ottimo il menu del giorno, abiiamo optato per il menu della carta, abbiamo scelto della buona pasta fresca tagliatelle (porcini surgielati) e prosciutello, per secondo un'ottima tagliata al rosmarino con patate, come dolce un Creme Caramel e un sorbettto al limone. Notevole la lista dei vini, io sono amante del Gewürztraminer ed ho avuto modo di degustare un notevole vino della Valle d'Aosta, prodotto da Cave des Onze Communes. Camerriere gentilissimo e alquanto prepararto, in conclusione ottimo ristorante, bella location, prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti proposti! 08/04/2024: Stopped here for lunch on a rainy day exploring the town. The staff who served us were very friendly and helpful and what we had to eat was delicious. I'd recommend this place and we'd have gone back again if we had been staying longer.

04/09/2025: Excellent Aperol, and the owner also made our entire afternoon a little more enjoyable: While it was pouring with rain, he brought us one delicious treat after another. The coffee here is also delicious, and the croissants and breads are a real treat. 🌹🐦‍🔥🦧

26/07/2025: I wanted to travel to Lake Maggiore again because of nostalgic memories. As a child, I often visited Luino with my family, and decades later, I became friends with a pleasant fellow named Dario. He himself was a theater director and author—may he rest in peace—and he showed me what truly defines Lake Maggiore. This year, I was drawn to Intra. I was visiting the Basilica, as my niece was planning to get married there, when, after a long walk, I felt like having a quick drink. So, quite by chance, I passed the Blue Moon bar, which is not far from the Basilica but still spared the mass tourism (I, of course, am one of them). The owner greeted me warmly, and I ordered an Aperol Spritz (or, as they call it here, a Sprizz). I sat down. To my surprise, I was the only customer. I waited longer than expected, which initially made me suspect that the service here wasn't satisfactory enough, which is why there were no customers. But I didn't have anything else planned anyway, so I was enjoying a few lines from my book of poems by Piero Chiara. Suddenly, Alfredo arrived with the spritz I'd ordered and also served me some sandwiches with cheese or prosciutto, as well as olives, chips, and crackers. I politely said I just wanted a drink, and he replied in a gentle voice, "Calm down." With his calm, philosophical response, I also adopted this attitude and slowly began to taste the food. To my amazement, I devoured everything and was more than satisfied. I thought to myself: now just a small Moretti and the evening is over. I ordered, and Alfredo came back with a culinary selection of Italian "tapas." It was once again delicious, although I must admit that the second course was more about hedonism than hunger. Molto Bene e grazie mille. I had to cancel my restaurant reservation because I was so full (and slightly tipsy), and my wallet barely lost any weight thanks to the very reasonable prices at the Blue Moon bar. The Antica Osteria San Pietro will have to wait. But Intra, amore mio, believe me, I'll be back!

10/02/2025: Cucina semplice ma buona prodotti freschi.menù operaio. Primo, secondo con contorni, pane e 1 frutto compreso nei 7 euro. Acqua e dolce a parte. Consiglio per pranzo economico a pochi minuti a piedi da ospedale.

13/10/2024: Pranzato qui per la comodità di trovarsi al punto di arrivo della zipline. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, personale molto cortese e disponibile, bella la struttura tutta vetri. Cibo ottimo! Presi 4 piatti diversi e 3 dolci tutti squisiti. Molto bello anche lo spazio esterno con tavoli e sdraio ed un bellissimo panorama.

28/09/2024: Bar ristorante situato all’arrivo della zipline del lago maggiore. Punto di ristoro molto valido se avete appena finito la zipline o per chi vi aspetta lì. Abbiamo chiesto se ci fosse posto (in quanto non avevamo prenotato) e si sono resi disponibili subito a trovare una soluzione. Il menù è molto vario ma le proposte dello chef sulla lavagnetta ci hanno subito convinto. Abbiamo mangiato molto ma veramente molto bene. Il servizio è eccellente e molto veloce. La location è ovviamente complicata da raggiungere SE non fate la zip line ma ne varrebbe comunque la pena per quanto si mangia bene. Intorno alla struttura, a parte la ovvia vista spettacolare, ci sono anche tavoli per mangiare all'aperto, sdraio per potersi rilassare ed anche qualche gioco per i bimbi che non guasta mai. Ci ritornerò senza dubbio a mangiare, oltre che a fare la zipline.

12/07/2024: Prendiamo circa due volte al mese le pizze da asporto per la nostra famiglia. Ci siamo sempre trovati bene: personale gentilissimo e pizze molto buone con grande varietà di scelta. La consegna è veloce.
