05/05/2026: I discovered this place while walking around the small village of Barolo. The welcome was warm and inviting so I reserved a table and came back 45 min later. Menu of typical regional dishes and a very impressive wine list of local and other wines - though I’m not sure one should drink anything other than Barolo or local grape varieties when sitting in the village of Barolo. I had a fantastic Risotto made with Barolo and had a Local dessert with a glass of Nebbiolo (the local grape) and the bill came to a very reasonable €30. Highly recommend. Local, authentic, welcoming.

12/04/2026: A very welcoming place with a pleasant view of the vineyards. The service is friendly and fairly quick. The dishes are beautifully designed and paired with excellent wines.

17/05/2026: The interior is average, but the panoramic view from the windows is truly beautiful; this is probably the restaurant's strong point. The food is very good and high-quality, but the portions are RIDICULOUS, with exorbitant prices. They're portions worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, large plates, with very little inside—just look at the photos. The cover charge, water charge, and coffee charge are ridiculous; I can understand the price of wine, but hey... water is water, and so is coffee. The wait times are incredibly long; if you're looking to spend a Sunday afternoon, then it's fine: for three courses (appetizer, first course, dessert, and coffee), it took us three and a half hours—the kind of meal for a special occasion. There's parking, but it fills up quickly on Sundays, so they either make you double-park or park on the dirt road leading to the restaurant. €70 per person.

14/05/2026: Simply a perfect experience! La Locanda in Cannubi is a gem in the heart of the Barolo vineyards. The food is extraordinary: traditional Piedmontese dishes prepared with great care and using excellent ingredients. The wine list is incredible, featuring local wines and truly refined selections. The welcome is warm from the first moment, and the staff is professional, attentive, and always smiling. The service is impeccable without ever being intrusive. A magical place where quality, scenery, and hospitality blend perfectly. Highly recommended!

02/05/2026: Everything was perfect: the staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. The food was excellent, the prices fair. The atmosphere was modern and designer, and there was an entire wine cellar (they are direct producers) to visit and taste. Another highlight is the location, just outside the town of Barolo, which allows for convenient parking. Well done.

02/05/2026: We wanted to tour the beautiful Langhe and found this place very charming. Modern and very clean. Excellent service, truly excellent quality of ingredients. A traditional dish with a trio of appetizers, ravioli del plin, sliced ​​Fassona beef, and panna cotta with honey. We drank Barolo, all their own production. A truly positive experience! We promised ourselves we'd return for the winery tour and another wonderful lunch!

02/06/2026: A truly wonderful discovery in the center of Barolo! We ate wonderfully; the dishes were exquisite and prepared with great care. The staff was attentive and friendly. Special mention for the welcome aperitif: homemade bread and breadsticks, rolled by hand, accompanied by excellent creamed butter. A simple detail that won us over immediately.

02/06/2026: A welcoming and well-maintained restaurant, with friendly and attentive staff. For a couple, the staff split the dishes they chose—a first course and a second course—to make it easier for both to enjoy their meal. The quality and price were more than fair, recommended.

01/06/2026: We went for lunch today and it was a truly positive experience. The service was good and the food was excellent, both in quality and quantity. We started with the Assaggio delle Langhe, followed by tajarin with ragù and ravioli with Seirass and spinach. Instead of dessert, we decided to finish with a delicious treat, asking if we could try their "Bra-type" sausage, and they didn't hesitate to accommodate our request. I have to say, it was absolutely worth it. It's delicious!!! Compliments again to the Chef. I highly recommend it.

17/05/2026: Great, simple pizza ala Napoli in the only pizzeria in Barolo! We had craved to eat pizza once while on this extended weekend in the Langhe and we were not disappointed! It hit the spot! Just book in advance for a table on Saturday evening!

17/05/2026: We had a great Neapolitan style pizza baked in a wood fired oven! We appreciated the English speaking waiters and the hospitality. Nice selection of Langhe wines by the glass.

01/06/2025: Several times in the morning delicious cappuccino and espresso. Also good wines on the menu. Friendly staff. Nice little terrace with a view of Borgogno winery

24/05/2025: I went to Giulia and Anna's winery for an aperitif and I had a really good time: welcoming atmosphere, excellent selection of wines and impeccable service. Highly recommended!
