14/09/2025: Brilliant food well prepared and presented. Friendly service and small courtyard for outdoor seating was charming. Veal done 3 ways, guinea fowl ravioli, fish of the day and confit rabbit….all delicious.

19/10/2025: Good food, but little attention to customer service: Dishes are left on the table without any presentation. Jams and cheeses are left without cutlery. Eggs are shared directly on the plate.

19/10/2025: We stumbled upon this osteria by chance. Initially, they told us there was no room, but then, inexplicably, they seated us. The food was absolutely excellent, but I'm sorry to say the service left a bit to be desired. As for appetizers, we had a cheese tasting, but no explanation was given as to what we were eating. The same was true for the jams (which lacked a spoon to scoop them onto our plates). We had to ask for a glass of wine several times. They asked me if I wanted Parmesan, and when I said yes, they simply spooned it onto my plate, spilling half of it on me (they could have left it on the table). Finally, we split the bill Roman-style, and we were charged an extra euro for the overage.

05/10/2025: Long weekend in the Langhe with friends. We had lunch here and came back. Excellent quality, excellent service, and the owner and waiters were helpful and courteous, especially Francesco, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. Highly recommended.

04/10/2025: We dined at this restaurant based on the good reviews, but unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed. For starters, we ordered the ravioli del plin with two roasts and the tagliarin with ragù, both mediocre: the plin were under-seasoned, and the tagliarin lacked flavor and were a bit overcooked. For main courses, we ordered the braised beef and veal with tuna sauce. The braised beef was tasty, but we would have preferred it a little more tender, but overall, we enjoyed it. The veal with tuna sauce was flavorful and savory, definitely our favorite dish. The recommended bottle of red wine was good.

12/10/2025: A casual location in the center of Barolo where you can sample Piedmontese specialties, and much more. Excellent quality ingredients, excellent service. I've been there twice already and will definitely return. Good value.

12/10/2025: I have to say that anyone can cook well (allow me), but if you limit yourself to cooking well and then miss out on everything else, you've only done half the job. Here, however, they've managed not only to prepare excellent dishes with high-quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail, but they've also managed to pair the food with truly spectacular waiters. Knowledgeable, friendly, always ready with a joke, young but hungry for the future and growth. If you stop in Barolo, you absolutely must stop and eat here because it's worth every penny you'll spend. Top, 100% recommended. If I may, I recommend the risotto with blue cheese and the cheese platter.

13/10/2025: A restaurant where you can savor Neapolitan culture, from the pizza to the waiter, who is very polite and courteous, using old-fashioned methods, which, alas, have been lost. The pizza has a thick crust, but not stringy; in fact, it's crispy and soft on the inside (measuring 2 daughters). I asked for the spicy oil, and it was a real treat. RECOMMENDED

01/10/2025: The wine was already oxidized, and the pizza, unfortunately, wasn't to our taste at all! A runny cheese soup on a soggy base, a shame. The service, however, was very friendly.

28/09/2025: It may not be Instagrammable, but it has excellent wine and the food is also excellent. Good value. Ideal for a quick stop or lunch.

16/09/2025: We returned to the Langhe for the second time for a tasting at Vite Colte, and inevitably, I can't help but compare it to my first experience at another winery. Unfortunately, overall, this second visit was less convincing. But let's start with the strong points: the facility is truly splendid. The architecture is meticulously designed to guide visitors through the various stages of winemaking. The aesthetics evoke the region, both in its colors and in its references to Piedmontese tradition. The barrel room is undoubtedly the most evocative part and represents the true jewel of the winery. The guide was very kind and knowledgeable, especially regarding the facility and the general winemaking processes. A few questions about the wines currently being produced remained unanswered, but overall the explanation was clear. Perhaps due to the tight schedule, I found the visit a bit rushed: personally, I would have preferred a slower pace and more informal interaction. Moving on to the tasting, unfortunately, I was the biggest disappointment. I had purchased the package on Freedom, which included two Barolos, a Barbaresco, and a Nebbiolo. In reality, we were served a Barolo, a Nebbiolo, a Sauvignon Blanc, and a Barbera d'Asti. Furthermore, the explanation of the wines was given all at once, leaving us to taste them on our own, accompanied by a platter of excellent cured meats, cheeses, and breadsticks. A more engaging approach, with a guided tasting step by step, would have made the experience much more interesting. That said, I still recommend visiting Vite Colte: the place is truly worth it and leaves a lasting impression. With a little more attention to the tasting, it could be an unforgettable experience.

09/10/2025: The house appetizer was poor: the beef carpaccio was flavorless because it was seasoned with garlic (not listed on the menu); the tuna sauce was equally lacking, and the tuna salad was only mayonnaise. Only the fillet steak in Barolo was good. I would hardly return.

06/10/2025: We had lunch here and I have to say we had a great time. We really enjoyed the food, the wine list was excellent, and the prices were fair. The only downside was that the dishes were a bit too fast; the waiter Antonio realized we wanted to take a breather and slowed down this pleasant moment. We'll definitely be back.

30/04/2025: Sono un motociclista e le Langhe era una meta che dovevo fare, ovviamente non potevo non approfittare anche di un giro cantina/pranzo e degustazione vini..alla tenuta Germano mi ha accolto una piacevole donna di nome Viviana, una donna solare e simpatica, mi sono sentito subito a mio agio , mi ha fatto visitare la parte esterna delle vigne e spiegato in maniera dettagliata come vengono gestite , curate e trattate...( Fatevi spiegare perché ci sono pochi insetti nelle vigne 😆 ) . Il Giro per le cantine è da fare... si respira storia , si vede il passato che si intreccia col presente. Legno, acciaio, vetro, una mappa deve si vede il territorio perfettamente suddiviso per dare una giusta categoria e qualità all'uva...niente è lì per caso, tutto studiato nei minimi dettagli...bello! La visita è durata 1 oretta circa, dopodiché ci siamo spostati nel suo locale " il bosco delle galline volanti " dove mi aspettava la degustazione , io ho scelto quella base da 60€ Gli assaggi buonissimi, ho chiesto le ricette quasi supplicando ma Viviana è un osso duro, ha tenuto il segreto ( mainagioia ) , vini deliziosi , come il locale stesso...grazie Viviana sei stata un oste top , ritornerò sicuramente 😊

16/06/2025: El personal era absolutamente fantástico. Desearía haber preguntado el nombre de la señora que nos servía. Tan servicial, que no estaba muy bien y tardaron en verme y como no podía caminar de vuelta al camping nos llevaron de vuelta. La comida era excelente también. Mi pareja tenía una ensalada enorme llena de verduras frescas encantadoras. Muy recomendable.

02/06/2025: Realmente honesto, no esperaba comer así aquí. Vine por retraso en Barolo, y traté de encontrar un lugar para comer y este bar sirvió platos sabrosos muy particulares con buen precio. Personal muy amable. Gracias por su servicio.
