09/12/2025: Beautiful location, meticulously maintained with a rustic feel. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, especially at the restaurant. The village is very beautiful to visit; the rooms are spread across different buildings, all within a single property. There are, however, some downsides: the rooms are a bit too rustic, and the restaurant, in my opinion, is overpriced, especially for the portions. I had a fairly positive experience with breakfast, with a limited but satisfying selection of both sweet and savory dishes, featuring local specialties.

22/02/2026: During our stay in Alba, we had lunch at this wonderful restaurant. The restaurant looked inviting from the outside, and this was confirmed inside. The modern yet harmonious decor made it a pleasant place to linger. The service was very attentive. Orders were taken quickly and arrived promptly, so there were no unnecessary waiting times. Everyone was consistently friendly and courteous. We had appetizers, a first course, a second course, and dessert. Each course was accompanied by a glass of wine, and we finished with an espresso. The dishes were based on high-quality ingredients, expertly prepared and cooked. Everything was attractively presented and tasted excellent. Each dish was perfectly balanced, and the portions were just right. All in all, a truly wonderful visit to a fantastic restaurant. Great food in a pleasant setting with excellent service. A great place to eat in Alba.

17/02/2026: I came to celebrate my birthday at Hostaria dai Musi and left with a genuine smile. They welcome you calmly and respectfully, making no distinctions, even when you arrive with a large wolf at your side. They immediately made us feel at ease, as if we were already part of the place. The food speaks for itself. Clear dishes, clean flavors. The fish is truly fresh, not that stuff they tell you about. The tuna impressed me the most: full, bold, done just right. If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel treated like a person and not a number, you're in luck here. I'll be back soon, without a second thought.

06/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at Trattoria Del Bollito in Alba. For starters, an excellent vitello tonnato accompanied by a fine selection of cured meats and cheeses—everything was of exceptional quality. The pasta with black truffle was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. All of this was accompanied by a superb 2021 Barbaresco Pio Cesare. Authentic cuisine, impeccable ingredients, and truly excellent value for money in Alba. An address I wholeheartedly recommend.

05/03/2026: August 12, 2025, midsummer, 8:30 PM: - Good evening, there are two of us. - Sorry, we're CLOSING the kitchen. At 8:30 PM, with the outdoor area completely empty, we can't eat because they're closing... Next time, we'll come at 4 for a snack. *First of all, "kitchen closed" is what you said to us, and there's a big difference between a kitchen closed and a fully booked restaurant. Secondly, even if it had been 95 degrees, she should have asked me if I wanted to eat outside or not (in the end, I ate outside and it was great because it wasn't 95 degrees at all). Thirdly, I didn't give her any names, so she could have left out the clown emoji. Regards.

08/03/2026: Delicious pizza and a huge salad. Friendly service staff, but unfortunately very loud and crowded. They tend to serve food quickly; we had to slow down the service a bit because they were reassigning tables multiple times.

04/01/2026: My husband and I visited La Piola Duomo recently and were unfortunately disappointed. Most of our dishes arrived cold. When we ordered the vanilla tart, we specifically asked if it was served warm; the waiter confirmed it was, yet it arrived ice cold. When we asked to have it heated, the waiter told us they simply 'couldn't do it.' To make matters worse, the host spent the entire evening drinking with other guests, which felt quite unprofessional for a restaurant of this caliber. While they did apologize and removed the cake from our bill at the end, the overall experience was a letdown.
