21/06/2025: By chance we found ourselves asking for 4 seats and by chance they had them, we couldn't have found a better place, amazingly delicious food 3.5 kg of meat and much more, the sommelier the guys in the dining room all professional polite and friendly. See you soon ... and I think very soon but no longer in 4 but with all our family and our friends! Congratulations

25/06/2025: Lunch in Alba at this modern trattoria. Tried the tagliolini with truffle, served in a pan. Good and plentiful. Young, smiling and fast guys. Honest bill.

30/06/2025: I came to Alba several times during the steam traction era (locomotives belonging to the legendary Gr. 640) between Alessandria della Paglia and Bra. I always had a truly excellent lunch, white truffle first and foremost. It is definitely worth a trip.

25/06/2025: Typical Piedmontese cuisine from Langa, excellent and meticulously prepared without falling into clichés. Well-stocked cellar and fair prices. Very kind staff in the dining room, very professional and not at all intrusive. The only flaw was the girl at the cash register. When we asked if it was possible to pay with an Amex card, she replied, looking annoyed, "you can pay with whatever you want, as long as there's money on it". A rude and vulgar response that insinuated a doubt in us that until that moment was absent: "will we return to this restaurant?" Unfortunately, I don't think so. Too bad....

04/06/2025: Myself and 3 friends spent 3 nights in Alba and somehow became regulars here. We did 3 separate wine tastings and we got to try different wines every time. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and welcomed us warmly whenever we arrived. You can also purchase bottles directly from them, so we took a couple cases home to relive our time in Alba. Definitely check this place out if you like good wine and an inviting atmosphere!

30/06/2025: Classic 80s pizzeria, with a wide selection of good quality pizzas (the one with friarielli is unrivaled here!). The Neapolitan desserts they make are delicious (babà first and foremost). The staff is always kind and smiling, the owner is always very nice!

11/06/2025: Banally? A place outside of space-time. Concretely? A place that is good for the head and the heart. Smiles and kind eyes from all the people who give life to a microcosm that makes us say: "Ah, this is why it's really worth it". The feeling at the start was to say, but do you know what? The environment is so safe and familiar that you would leave your daily life behind and rediscover yourself happy with a flower in your hand. Thank you so much to you who make all this possible. 06/06/2025: Magical place. We spent here three beautiful nights and it was a true highlight of our holiday in Italy this year. The room was comfortable, the space available for guests - simply amazing. Breathtaking view from the hill! Food was good (there is still a room to improve 👀), and the selection of wines - noteworthy. The service was best in class - everyone was kind and helpful. Overall, really great time at Casa Scaparone. Very much recommended.

23/06/2025: A wonderful place to eat, drink, and relax. Located directly on the piazza. Good food and a large wine selection. The head waiter is a true character and knows how to pamper and entertain his guests.

29/04/2025: Cena di capodanno perfetta. Abbiamo deciso di fare una cosa "fuori dal normale" per noi ed andare a cena la sera di capodanno, ma nel nostro ristorante del cuore. È stato tutto perfetto. Cibo ottimo, saporito, abbinamenti particolari ed azzeccati, una garanzia.

20/04/2025: A fantastic place to dine! If there were more stars i wouldn’t hesitate to give them all the stars of the sky! Excellent service, excellent food, amazing people! I found the place by accident, walking on the beautiful streets of Alba.The owner is an old timer with a very good real Italian style that reminds me of the good Fellini movies, it’s the guy you want to be your friend, the head waiter is a very good looking guy with a great personality, good English and he loves his important job that if you are a person that appreciates the service that you can get when you want to have a good time.This restaurant comes out of another reality that we have forgotten.The people that they enjoy to do the job right, the people that make your time and your money worth! Giuseppe very well knows how to make you feel good and he will please you! Don’t miss it, go there, you are going to have a great time with great food and most important GREAT PEOPLE!

03/06/2025: I saw the place several years ago on a Borghese show "4 Ristoranti" and since we were in the area we decided to try it with my family. Apart from the prices, which in 7 years have not undergone significant transformations (as in other places) I was able to dine in a quiet, clean, silent place, with staff who were really attentive to detail. The dishes had the right proportions and were, in my opinion, really excellent. It is possible to eat at the tables outside, but I recommend the inside where there is a great atmosphere.

01/06/2025: A perfect combination of refinement and taste in a historic setting that will take your breath away for the large space both in height and width. The setting is elegant, cared for in perfect balance between modern and ancient. The tables are large and comfortable with a sober mise en place. The raw materials are of high quality and expertly prepared. We were pleasantly surprised by the flavors and details of the dishes that do not disappoint in terms of taste or portion. A lot of care and attention also from the service in the room. They welcomed us with kindness, pampered us without being intrusive. An experience for your taste buds that is definitely worth trying! We will definitely return to eat the plin and tajarin on our next trip to the Langhe. The small entree of Russian salad offered at the beginning as a welcome was very pleasant. As I always say: the small details make the difference and the chef with his staff certainly manages to convey the passion for their art! Highly recommended!
