23/11/2025: We booked dinner at Ape Vino e Cucina during the Alba White Truffle Fair and were thrilled. The location, in the heart of Alba, is refined and welcoming; the ambience is elegant, and the service impeccable in its attentiveness and courtesy. The welcome from the kitchen and the desserts offered at the end of the meal were both very welcome—small details that truly make a difference. All the dishes we ordered lived up to our expectations: quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. The bill was fair and consistent with the level of service and the overall experience. We highly recommend this place and will gladly return.

15/11/2025: First time in Alba, but I'll definitely be back. Especially for the Ape Vino e Cucina experience. Everything was excellent, with excellent service and advice from Asia.

10/11/2025: A remarkable experience, a port aperitif and an amazing platter, especially the focaccia with veal in tuna sauce, all surrounded by plants and a green wall! It never disappoints!!

15/11/2025: If you are celiac and need a place to eat in Ventimiglia don't miss Osteria dei Sognatori. Our waiter, Omar, immediately explained that they could prepare both meals gluten free. So we ordered the squid and and the octopus and were able to share each other's meals. They also have GF options for dessert. I would assign more than 5 stars if I could.

15/11/2025: Welcoming place with helpful and friendly staff. All the dishes were delicious, from appetizers to dessert. The tajarin with ragù and raw meat was exceptional. Highly recommended! Reservations recommended.

22/11/2025: Went for lunch, prices too high for the quality. Wine not good. The risotto can only be ordered for two people, so the quality/price ratio needs to be revised downwards. Bad experience.

They use truffle essence in the dishes, which is sold in large quantities in the center of Alba; therefore, the dishes come from the kitchen with the truffle already grated on top! Even when asking for the truffle to be grated in front of you, the dish comes with truffles from the kitchen, to justify the smell of the essence they use!

05/10/2025: The place is really nice and clean. What perhaps struck me most was the idea of ​​donating the meat bones to the nearby animal shelter. Both the staff and the owner are very kind, answering any questions in a professional and friendly manner. After you've sat down, you'll be given a list, and after choosing, you'll be invited to the counter where the owner will be waiting to explain the meat you've chosen, show it to you, and perhaps even offer some advice. I find all this very transparent and pleasant! We tried a tartare with parmesan shavings, egg yolk, and caramelized onion (EXCELLENT). The "bagase" with lard and raw ham on top (FANTASTIC). A tagliata with a side of jacket potatoes (VERY GOOD). The ribs with a side of baked potatoes. The baked potatoes are spectacular, but I personally wasn't satisfied with the ribs. I found them a bit fatty; I chewed them and the meatballs were in my mouth, making it difficult to swallow. For wine, a red Roero, which pairs perfectly with the meat. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it to you too!

08/12/2025: I think it's been a while since I've had a well-topped pizza with fresh, delicious ingredients (porcini and gorgonzola were a delight), and it didn't make me reach for a bottle of water because I was thirsty. The pizza was cooked to perfection, expertly spread out like an Italian pizza chef. Both the staff and the owners are lovely. If I return to the area, it will be a must-try.

The selection is excellent, from sweet to savory, you're spoiled for choice. The sweet focaccia, with raisins and turmeric, is a specialty. We'll definitely be back.

26/07/2025: Absolutely one of the best sushi places in the area! The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I can honestly say we've become regulars. I highly recommend trying the grilled sushi as well.

24/07/2025: I had dinner at this all-you-can-eat restaurant and I have to say I had a great time. The quality was good and the service was quick despite the restaurant being busy. The dishes were classic; I didn't find a wide selection, except for a few specialty dishes that could only be ordered once. Dinner cost around €30, including cover charge and drinks. Recommended, worth a try.

22/11/2025: I went today for the first time as I travel as a tour bus driver. The food is good, the staff is kind as are the owners. I highly recommend trying it and the price is good.
