08/03/2026: Truly spectacular pizzas! Light dough, quality ingredients, and consistently delicious combinations: one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten. The restaurant itself is also highly commended; the atmosphere is welcoming and always a great place to be. A great plus is the ability to customize your pizza: you can choose from different doughs, sizes, and ingredients, essentially creating a "do-it-yourself" pizza. We really appreciated this feature because it allows everyone to find the perfect combination. The real added value, however, is the staff: the owners and staff are incredibly friendly, young, professional, and always super-friendly. They make you feel right at home, and it's always a pleasure to return. It's become our favorite place every time we stop by. A special thanks to Federica, who always recognizes us and welcomes us with her smile ❤️ Highly recommended, we'll be back again and again!

25/03/2026: The Royal has been popular in Alba for years now. I used to go there as a student during my surveying classes; the owners are always very friendly and kind. Now it's a regular stop for my morning breakfast before work and my post-lunch coffee.

05/04/2026: Easter lunch with my wife. The restaurant is downtown, so it's a great spot for a post-lunch or dinner stroll. The outdoor seating area where we ate is comfortable, but not the best—a bit chaotic. Very welcoming with excellent service. The waiter who looked after us and served us was knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered: - veal with tuna sauce and Fassona beef tartare - agnolotti del plin and tajiarin (I don't know if I spelled it correctly) with sausage ragù - sliced ​​Fassona beef - gianduiotto - two glasses of Barbera - a bottle of water The quality of the food is excellent; I highly recommend the veal with tuna sauce, the agnolotti del plin, and the gianduiotto. A small flaw—a hair on the plate (it can happen to anyone)—and they immediately changed our dish, offering us another dessert at the end: a mix of fried foods, a typical Easter dessert in that area. The wine list is excellent, and the Barbera we drank was delicious. It's a shame the Fassona beef was overcooked, in my opinion; it also didn't taste as piping hot as if it had just been cooked. Total cost: €120 (dessert included). What can I say? I recommend it for the dishes listed above and the service.

05/04/2026: We visited this restaurant for Easter lunch. The quality was average, but what struck us most was the rudeness and lack of professionalism of the wait staff. Specifically, we ordered three "off-menu" items, which were described inaccurately. We then pointed out to the waitress that the dish wasn't what we'd expected. She rudely and dismissively replied, "If you didn't like it, you could have sent it back." It was truly embarrassing and painful to hear the wait staff shouting nonchalantly, just five meters away from us, talking about our table, calling us "rude." Another truly annoying aspect was the speed with which they "snatched" dishes from diners while they were still finishing their meals. Even the person in charge of the bill at the cash register ignored us; we paid and left feeling truly disappointed. We only hope that the management, as demonstrated in other negative reviews of this restaurant, does not respond inappropriately to our comment. Unfortunately, for us, our Easter lunch was completely ruined.

04/04/2026: A small trattoria just steps from the square that doesn't look like much from the outside but is definitely worth discovering! Simple yet delicious dishes, truffles for those who enjoy them, good wines, and decadent desserts. The service is attentive, pleasant, and warm. A great find in Alba.
