22/02/2025: Absolut durchschnittliches Essen. Wir hatten das degustations Menu (5-Gänger). Meine Frau hatte das Menu mit Trüffeln gewählt aber die haben nach nichts geschmeckt. Im allgemeinen war das Essen zu schwach gewürtzt, völlig Fad. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Weinempfehlung war auch sehr gut.

30/03/2025: An absolutely must. Pierre is beyond! His story and experience is may the with some of the best. A foodie meal with high end touches yet approachable and delicious at the same time. You shouldn’t miss eating here. The atmosphere is perfect upscale with high ceilings and all around Italian touches. We can’t recommend this enough. Drooling over the best homemade pasta, wine, and dessert. They find was fresh and local at the time and offer specials off of that. They find local some vintage wines for those that ask. This was our favorite meal on our northern Italia trip. We can’t wait to come back!

28/02/2025: Entrare nel ristorante ed essere avvolti da un ambiente bello e confortevole è già un buon inizio, il seguito è un susseguirsi di bontà di benvenuto e di pietanze eseguite ad arte. Non è solo un ristorante dove "si mangia bene, ma un luogo dove chi accoglie sa come far star bene. Il saluto dello chef la chicca finale. Complimenti a tutti davvero.

Every cut we tried was tasty and succulent, accompanied by equally delicious and well-prepared side dishes. The staff was courteous and attentive, ready to recommend the best dishes and explain the different types of meat available. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, perfect for an evening with friends. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, considering the quality of the raw materials and the abundance of the portions. There is no shortage of wine labels. Highly recommended for those who love meat and want to live an authentic and genuine culinary experience!

02/02/2025: Unfortunately we didn't like it very much. It's not the first time we eat in a starred restaurant, and so we expected a different service (and not to be called "friends" by the waiting staff). The atmosphere is ok, but the music completely ruins the atmosphere. We have had better service in restaurants that are not yet starred. The food is nothing to write home about, more of an exercise in style than a real taste that will leave you speechless. Furthermore, both my husband and I were not well all night... disappointed. Lastly, they also allow pets in the restaurant (which I have nothing against), but this makes the restaurant even more informal

Unfortunately, however, the charm of the place is not enough to compensate for the other critical issues. The food is average, without particular excellence, despite paying a high price. The real sore point, however, is the service. Courtesy should be the basis of hospitality, yet the experience was ruined by an unprofessional welcome and, even worse, by the rudeness of the owner. It is no coincidence that many negative reviews report the same problem and it is enough to read the answers provided to realize the level of education reserved for customers. A real shame, because the location is a 10.

Unfortunately, the service was very slow and confusing to the point that, after ordering a trout, it arrived freezing cold. Cold fish only if you order it otherwise it's not good. Good guinea fowl, rabbit tuna too, nice lamb meatballs.

14/01/2025: All very good, but I don't include the maximum for two reasons: 1) since Alba is also the city of truffles, when there are none it would be better to specify it during the booking or on the menu posted outside and not wait for the moment of ordering, especially in December because not all tourists may know the truffle perfectly annual seasonality. The alternatives proposed on the menu were excellent!!!! 2) if you include a dessert that is not typical of the local tradition, it would be better to come prepared. I am speaking in this case of His Majesty the Baba (forgive the hyperbole). I was served a dessert with a non-elastic consistency (more similar to a pastry), with the rum syrup poured in on the spot; otherwise, call him “babà in our way”, then everything is allowed.

Tavoli apparecchiati con tovaglie e tovaglioli in stoffa di qualità così come la posateria. Abbiamo preso pesce spada e tonno alla griglia con una big insalatona.
