12/02/2026: A go-to place for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs, offering high-quality and imaginative pastries (fruit croissants, marron glacé, chocolate, and a wide variety of desserts).
The savory options are also excellent (pizza slices, savory brioche, toast).
It struggles a bit when the place gets crowded and the afternoon hours are a bit short.

When we arrived, they asked us how many of us were there and told us to "go upstairs." No formalities, no greetings, we weren't even escorted.
The atmosphere was sad, dimly lit. There wasn't even any background music.
Once we ordered from the all-you-can-eat service, the hopeful wait began. We received a dish every half hour, and sometimes not even enough for both of us. After an hour and a half at the table, only three dishes were brought to us. Then, fed up with the wait and the poor quality of the food (it was truly awful, the raw fish was truly disgusting), we got up and left. The same situation occurred in the rest of the room. Several people reported the inconvenience to the staff, but they seemed unconcerned.
What disgusted me most was seeing them place the ready-made dishes on the lower level, at foot height, of the trolley they used for serving.
All this for the modest price of 57 euros for two people.
Thanks to the kebab shop we went to afterward. It saved our Valentine's Day dinner.
07/02/2026: I went there tonight with my wife. Well, what can I say? Nothing special, nothing bad. Quiet, clean place, average service and food. Average bill and prices. Would I go back? No, there's a lot of competition out there.

22/02/2026: It's incredible how a beautiful place can be ruined by such mediocre management. The owner is embarrassingly arrogant and treats customers (even longtime ones) with unacceptable condescension.
If you're looking for a place where you feel welcomed, go elsewhere: the only thing generously served here is the owner's rudeness.
07/02/2026: For a snack it's fine, a sandwich or a coffee.

11/01/2026: If I can give less than one star I would. The worst place I’ve ever been to. I went and I asked for a coffee take away and the old lady( I assume she’a the owner) asked me again take away? I said yes. I went to the bathroom and came out and found it in a glass cup so I asked her please I want it” take away” so she started yelling in Italian and treated me badly until everyone in the place starting to look at me. And then the two ladies who were standing next to me asked if I said from the beginning that I want it take away I said yes and they asked me if I spoke in Italian I said yes . Literally I cried in the caffee . If they can open their cameras they will find me having mini panic attack infront of the cashier. From the amount of the yelling the old lady did to me. JUST A SHAME. NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. And since yesterday if anyone asked me for a coffee place I recommend many places but not this place and I tell them the story. Please not to go there it’s the worst. I think they have to learn how to treat the clients.

16/03/2026: Reasonable prices, good pizza, served fairly quickly. Good wine by the glass. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff. Salad could be improved in terms of variety. Decent coffee. I would definitely return. Lovely outdoor setting. Fairly easy parking.
06/02/2026: The house pizza is good, the beer on the menu costs 3.50 when I paid it was 4.00 without controversy reprint the menu....

23/01/2026: It's been years since I've been to Deiro for a good hot chocolate... I had it a few days ago, and it wasn't even close to the ones I remembered, uniquely dense. Now it's runny, like so many others...
As for the ambiance, despite the original furnishings, it could use a little updating, keeping with tradition but not smelling musty...
Disappointment
29/12/2025: We ordered some toasted sandwiches. After waiting about 30 minutes (while customers who had come in after us were being served) and repeated inquiries, they arrived cold. They looked like they'd just come off the supermarket shelf.
The price was truly exorbitant.

13/12/2025: Cremeria del Piazzo in Biella is a pleasant stop, especially for a sweet treat in a historic location.
The place is welcoming and well-kept, with a warm atmosphere that invites you to linger, perfect for a snack.
We stopped for a hot chocolate accompanied by traditional local biscuits. We tried the dark hot chocolate with cream, intense and well-balanced, enriched with a creamy and well-structured whipped cream, which complements the whole experience without being overpowering. The canestrelli, typical biscuits of Biella, were a pleasant discovery: simple but truly delicious, ideal with hot chocolate.
The staff is young and friendly, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Overall, the value for money is good, and in my opinion, it's a worthwhile stop, especially if you want to indulge in a sweet treat in a charming historical setting.
30/09/2025: We waited 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We asked for a Ginseng, a coffee with cream, and a glass cup with just whipped cream. They brought us the coffee with melted cream, the cold ginseng, and a cardboard takeaway cup with a dollop of cream. I didn't eat it because I don't like the taste of cardboard. I went inside to pay and pointed out that I hadn't consumed the cream because I had asked for a glass cup with the right amount of cream. One of the two girls, very rudely, told me that the glass cup would also have the same amount as the cardboard cup she had brought. I then pointed out that if I wanted a cup full of cream, paying for the amount requested, it was my right to have it. Since there were two people at the counter, one of them was extremely polite and apologized for the misunderstanding. They were both talking, and I kept looking back and forth between them. The rude girl spoke rudely to me, saying I wasn't looking her in the eye while she was talking. I paid for the crap they served and left. They'll never see me again.

09/03/2026: Very good pizza, the dough is very light, the staff is very kind, the lady is fantastic and makes delicious desserts (tiramisu, apple cake and fritele with apple, banana) we have returned many times and every time they made us feel at home. Thank you so much to all of you! ❤️
