24/07/2026: I recommend grilled fish or meat with two side dishes included. Excellent service and what a view. I forgot to mention that there is also pizza. The only downside is that there is a paid parking throughout the lake. Very charming outdoor area and a fair price for the good quality.

18/07/2026: The situation was too serious to discuss only on TripAdvisor. Saturday evening, the pizza chef was obviously sick, so there was no chance of eating pizza. So we ordered a plate of pasta with clams and cherry tomatoes. We received two plates of pasta with clams and chopped TOMATOES, as if I were an idiot and couldn't tell the difference with cherry tomatoes. But unfortunately, I know the difference well, because tomatoes contain nickel and cherry tomatoes don't, and I'm allergic to nickel. I sent the plate back and asked to speak to the snobbish owner, but of course she didn't show up and sent the waiters forward, who didn't apologize and presented me with a plate of pasta from which the tomatoes had clearly been removed. A presentation of a plate that included half empty shells without clams, and not even a bowl to put the shells in. All this for €17.50 a plate and with very few tables occupied. If you continue like this, you'll close soon, I'm telling you. And if I feel bad tonight because of your ignorance and lack of desire to work, I'll sue you. Terrible.

30/06/2026: In a word, A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. The owner immediately showed impatience, almost as if our mere presence were a nuisance. When I asked for the pilgrim's menu (they were walking the Camino di Oropa and had been offered it a few hours earlier by the owner himself), he replied that he had decided not to offer it anymore, his dislike for travelers was clear. Perhaps he feels it's not worth treating people with courtesy and respect who most likely won't return and become regulars. Absolutely not recommended, both for the food and the treatment accorded, especially those walking the Camino; we are unwelcome.

07/03/2026: Two people ate there on a Saturday lunch (February 26). Exactly: my boyfriend and brother. Disappointing and expensive. Two ordinary pasta dishes with tomato sauce 🍅, two ordinary hamburgers with potatoes, water, €60. A mockery of the unfortunate people...

18/07/2025: Went without reading any reviews. In the dark, in short, but let's be clear, Argentina and meat are an exceptional combination. Beautiful place with brick arches. Stunning. I chose the meat menu, which included sirloin, fillet, sirloin, ribs, and some good sausage. When I chewed, I could taste the intense flavor of the meat. They even have classic Argentine beer. Very easy to get to and park. Special praise to the girl who took care of the orders courteously, repeating things twice if necessary. Another plus is the lady grilling, sublime.

05/07/2026: Terrible experience via Deliveroo. Ordered a soufflé, but it was missing the spicy salami, artichokes, and olives. It was basically a pizza with eggs, tomato, and mozzarella. Inedible.

11/06/2026: *Bar La Torre - Candelo. €15 for the "Medieval Platter"? The portion was medieval.* Today, June 11, 2026, table 15, outdoor. I ordered the Medieval Platter for €15.00 + €3.00 service charge. Total bill: €30.60. I'm attaching a photo of the "platter": 4 slices of prosciutto, three rounds of salami, two pieces of cheese arranged crosswise, and a handful of lamb's lettuce for bulk. For €15 at the supermarket, I can buy 100 grams of raw ham, 100 grams of cooked ham, 2 cheeses, bread, and have enough left over for beer. Here, it costs €5.00. I understand the price increases, but this is a children's appetizer, not a €15 platter. If you call it "Medieval Platter" because the portions were so small, then the name is spot on. Otherwise, it's a joke. Nice location, friendly staff, but with these prices and these portions I wouldn't go back even in the 1400s.

07/06/2026: We waited almost 10 minutes for our trays. Some of the items we'd ordered were missing. The inside floor was really dirty, greasy, and sticky—never seen anything like that before.

07/06/2026: Unfortunately, our experience wasn't a positive one. My sister and I ordered two cheeseburgers and two hamburgers. When we opened the burgers, we discovered they were practically empty: just the bun and the meat, no ketchup, no mustard, and no pickles. We hope they pay more attention to order preparation in the future.

11/01/2026: If I can give less than one star I would. The worst place I’ve ever been to. I went and I asked for a coffee take away and the old lady( I assume she’a the owner) asked me again take away? I said yes. I went to the bathroom and came out and found it in a glass cup so I asked her please I want it” take away” so she started yelling in Italian and treated me badly until everyone in the place starting to look at me. And then the two ladies who were standing next to me asked if I said from the beginning that I want it take away I said yes and they asked me if I spoke in Italian I said yes . Literally I cried in the caffee . If they can open their cameras they will find me having mini panic attack infront of the cashier. From the amount of the yelling the old lady did to me. JUST A SHAME. NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. And since yesterday if anyone asked me for a coffee place I recommend many places but not this place and I tell them the story. Please not to go there it’s the worst. I think they have to learn how to treat the clients.

23/06/2026: We just ate there, and everything was fantastic! The cocktails were excellent, the pizzas too, and the ice cream was perfect! The service was also very good, the view of the lake was superb, nothing to complain about, except thank you for the warm welcome. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll gladly come back!

07/06/2026: We only had an aperitif, the guys were very eager to do and put in the effort, the food compared to the price in my opinion is a bit poor, the location was very beautiful.

15/02/2026: 1 star because it's not possible to give -5. When we arrived, they asked us how many of us were there and told us to "go upstairs." No formalities, no greetings, we weren't even escorted. The atmosphere was sad, dimly lit. There wasn't even any background music. Once we ordered from the all-you-can-eat service, the hopeful wait began. We received a dish every half hour, and sometimes not even enough for both of us. After an hour and a half at the table, only three dishes were brought to us. Then, fed up with the wait and the poor quality of the food (it was truly awful, the raw fish was truly disgusting), we got up and left. The same situation occurred in the rest of the room. Several people reported the inconvenience to the staff, but they seemed unconcerned. What disgusted me most was seeing them place the ready-made dishes on the lower level, at foot height, of the trolley they used for serving. All this for the modest price of 57 euros for two people. Thanks to the kebab shop we went to afterward. It saved our Valentine's Day dinner.

07/02/2026: I went there tonight with my wife. Well, what can I say? Nothing special, nothing bad. Quiet, clean place, average service and food. Average bill and prices. Would I go back? No, there's a lot of competition out there.
