22/08/2025: The Parco delle Rovere is located at the end of the Cervo Valley in the village of Piedicavallo, a green space alongside the Cervo River, perfect for picnics or relaxing on hot summer days. There's a large parking lot for those visiting the valley for the many hikes available. Several trails depart from the park to various refuges; to the Vecchia Lake, Rivetti, Madonna degli Angeli, and Gragliasca. There's also a kiosk that recently changed management and is worth a stop for its friendly service, reasonable prices, and beautiful scenery. It's a popular spot from June to September during hot weather.

18/10/2025: Coming down from Oropa, we stopped for a delicious pizza at this historic restaurant, where time seems to have stood still! A place where you can enjoy good food and have a quiet conversation without being disturbed by the chatter of other customers! We'll definitely be back!

19/08/2025: My partner and I booked a table for Sunday lunch. We were very pleased with both the quality of the food and the service. The staff is very good at their jobs and really cares about making you feel at home. The ingredients were fresh and excellent, and cooked beautifully, especially the grilled meat. I would gladly return because we had a great time, so I highly recommend it.

30/09/2025: An evening with friends. It's been a long time since I've been here. The service and the place have improved over time. Unfortunately, I don't appreciate the all-you-can-eat system... I think it gives poor customer service and a bad image of the place (personal opinion). Overall, a pleasant evening, great courtesy. Recommended.

06/11/2025: We stopped for lunch thinking there was a workers' menu (there wasn't) so bear with me!! We stopped anyway for lunch! There were only two of us. After that, a group of foreigners arrived! So it wasn't crowded, we got a mixed appetizer from the counter, a water, a beer, a pizza, spicy salami, and a coffee for €41!!!! For lunch!!!! What left me perplexed was that the menu said €15 for a mixed appetizer served by them! Without being able to choose!!! I think that's wrong because if I'm intolerant, I can't let them choose my dish! So, the dish was made by me! Result? €21???? With that price, we can have lunch for two with just one course!!!! Never mind, we'll sort it out soon, just don't go back!!!

16/10/2025: I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was excellent and plentiful. They attended to us courteously and quickly. The dishes we chose were also very well received. One flaw is that the atmosphere is a bit gloomy, but I definitely recommend this restaurant, which I had long forgotten about.

02/11/2025: I happened upon Crevacuore by chance and discovered this excellent pizzeria that offers excellent quality and variety of pizzas. The environment is clean and welcoming, the owners are very courteous and friendly, the pizza dough is excellent and cooked to perfection, the prices are more than fair, if not very low for the quality and service offered. I recommend trying it if you are in the area.

26/10/2025: What a wonderful discovery! This trattoria is a true historic gem, a corner of Piedmont steeped in tradition and resistance. Here, within these simple walls steeped in history, the legendary "Contratto della Montagna" was signed during the Nazi-Fascist occupation—a place that is more than just a restaurant, but a living piece of our collective memory. The interior perfectly reflects that era: simple furnishings, rough-hewn wooden tables, and an intimate atmosphere that envelops you like a family embrace, without frills but with authentic warmth. The menu is a fixed price. A good selection of typical local dishes, all rigorously local and expertly prepared. Simple, authentic dishes, generous portions, and flavors that remind you of home. I'm picky about my lingua in bagnetto (a stewed tongue) because I've never found it like my mother, a true Piedmontese, makes it in any restaurant, but here it was truly delicious! And you have to try the arancini di panissa! Clean restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. If you're looking for a place where history meets pure flavor, stop here. Highly recommended! I'll be back to try the polenta concia too!

25/11/2025: The place is decidedly elegant, exuding a sense of the past, complemented by the aromas of excellent dishes. The pizza is delicious, and that's not the only reason it's become a regular stop whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommended for those who value good food and good manners.

28/08/2025: A very large ice cream parlor with good service. Newspapers and magazines are available for common use, and the food is good. Perhaps a little more expensive than other places, especially for breakfast.
