20/01/2026: A wonderful experience, a lovely, elegant, and well-kept venue. The service was prompt but not overwhelming. I ate a delicious raw ham paired with a good glass of wine; I also saw other interesting dishes circulating around the dining room; the presentation was certainly well-crafted and the courses delicious. The entrée was interesting, but the dessert was a bit subdued; I found the express meringue to be rather bland. It was certainly good, but I expected something more; not that this lowered my rating of the venue, which is definitely 5 stars.

04/01/2026: This restaurant in the Cannareggio district offers excellent food, a rich and delicious menu, friendly and helpful waiters and owner, and a welcoming and quaint location, just as an osteria demands. The kitchen closes at 9:00, and reservations are required if you'd like to sample traditional dishes (Venetian-style liver) or seafood (stewed calamari with polenta and Taggiasca olives). The price is reasonable for the amount consumed, making it a perfect value! The restaurant has two smaller rooms plus a couple of small tables at the entrance, in front of the counter. If you're offered these, don't hesitate to ask, as they're the most characteristic area of ​​the osteria!

10/01/2026: Today, January 10th, I was extremely disappointed to have lunch at Renata's. The scallops were submerged in seed oil, the fish appetizer tasted like cold cuts, and the grill was paltry and seemed steamed. Last time, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Villa Maryini, Villa Camerini, and others in the Delta a thousand times over.

05/01/2026: It's a must-visit in Venice if you want to enjoy haute cuisine accompanied by impeccable service, attentive from the moment you walk through the door until you leave the restaurant. They have an excellent and varied wine list, and their sommelier, Tommaso, is particularly noteworthy for his extraordinary work. He also speaks several languages, which greatly facilitates the understanding of the gastronomic concept for both Spanish and French diners. They offer two tasting menus, one with six courses and the other with eight, featuring flavors completely different from the norm. The creativity, technique, and desire to bring something unique and personal to gastronomy are clearly evident. Without a doubt, if I return to Venice, I will book again.

10/01/2026: A welcoming and elegant venue, with courteous, friendly, and attentive staff. The dishes are served with care, are generously sized, and of excellent quality. Service times are very slow. If you're in a hurry, it's definitely best to let the staff know. I have no doubt that every need will be met with the utmost care. It's a very comfortable place. 07/01/2026: Unfortunately, we weren't able to go to the restaurant on December 26th because we had our elderly grandparents with us, but the Ae Do Panche staff was, as always, exceptional. They prepared a truly impeccable takeout meal, with attention to every detail. The quality of the fish, as it has been for many years, was excellent: incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The value for money was excellent. Special thanks to Alessandro, the chef, who was incredibly talented and attentive: he immediately understood our needs and allowed us to impress all our guests. Everyone was satisfied and delighted. An absolute confirmation for those seeking quality fish and great professionalism. Highly recommended!

29/12/2025: The additional charge of 10 euros per person is excessive. The food is so-so; I've had better. The service seems like a punishment. Considering the prices and the additional 40 euros for four people, you can eat tastier food even in the city center and it will be cheaper. I don't recommend it.

01/01/2026: We stayed a couple of nights for New Year's Eve, with a dinner at Castello di Bevilacqua. A very beautiful hotel, with impeccable service, spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, and a plentiful and high-quality breakfast buffet.

21/12/2025: I had lunch at the Hotel Pergola in Legnago, and it was truly excellent! The dishes were carefully prepared, with balanced flavors and generous portions. The restaurant is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and professional. It's a great place for a midday break, recommended for both business and pleasure. I'll gladly return!

12/11/2025: We were not in the restaurant. It was closed after the season like most restaurants and shops. But we were staying in a local hotel above the restaurant. Which we liked.

03/01/2026: This is the best experience I had in Italy - this is my verdict after 10 days traveling from Venice to Rome. We chanced upon this restaurant walking in the quiet Venice streets and this became the benchmark to beat for the rest of the trip. The food was excellent, we had lasagna and vongole(best I’ve ever had). The restaurant owner (an elderly man) who was our server took such good care of us , attentive to our needs, friendly and warm - we felt very welcomed. The restaurant is an authentic Venetian restaurant frequented by locals and the vibe was homely, casual and warm. If you are in Venice, make it a point to drop by and you won’t regret it.
