26/10/2025: We went for lunch today. We ordered pizza, a hamburger, and a steak.
The food was delicious, the hamburger meat was very good. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pizza was really good! The service was very friendly. The place is also nice and well-maintained, and the bathroom is clean.
The only downside was that we found a hair in my husband's meal. We reported it to the staff, and the meal was immediately replaced. I thought we'd get something credited to our account, a free dessert, or a free coffee. Unfortunately, no.
26/10/2025: Quiet evening, Saturday in late October, not crowded.
The waiter was unsuitable; he forgot the order, and when we called him back after half an hour to at least get a drink, he became threatening, as if he'd received the worst insult imaginable.
After an hour of waiting, we reordered because there was no sign of the first order. The waiter was once again rude, with manners unbecoming of his job.
I credit my co-workers, who were serving the nearby tables, with better manners, traceable orders, and shorter wait times.
Food: Mediocre pizza, terrible fried food, a nightmare.
Terrible evening.

29/01/2026: I heard about Ai Casoni through a local sleuth because we were looking for a high-quality restaurant away from the tourist crowds and wanted a nice table by the water. I called and got a reservation for the same evening. The fish and desserts were truly outstanding! We would definitely come back!

28/02/2026: I returned with my family with pleasure after a few years. The ingredients were high-quality and the portions generous. The only downside was the waitress, whose demeanor transformed a refined establishment into a Trastevere osteria. Kudos to the rest of the staff, the professional and knowledgeable waiters. I hope it was just an off day.

26/03/2025: Muy buena comida, el primer lugar vimos parmesano de berenjena en el menú y estaba delicioso. Las flores de calabacín también eran increíbles! Tengo el lenguado que era bastante bueno, un poco demasiado cocido, pero bueno, mis niñas tienen ñoquis boloñesa que era delicioso.

28/10/2025: Beautiful, large venue with plenty of parking in front. Excellent, giant pizza, well-kept outdoor area, attentive waiters....
12/10/2025: A complete disaster. Fish from the freezer, none of the food was edible. Everywhere was closed, a lot of locals came here and got different food than what was on the menu. The willingness and interest of the staff, well below freezing.

Pizza with fries: Fries undercooked and soggy.
Carbonara: The "bacon" was pure fat and not even a bit crispy.
Service seemed strained.
02/10/2025: The food is mediocre to good and of varying quality. The service tries to be friendly, but often seems fake and not heartfelt. A no-go is the €3 per person caperto, which is charged even for small children. Many neighboring restaurants don't charge this. I consider charging caperto to be outdated, even for Italy.

The only flaw was that after dinner we were waiting for coffee (it was 10 pm), and it started to get cold, so much so that we left shortly after.

this little restaurant in Bardolino for the first time, where I ate delicious spaghetti allo scoglio! There were three of us. The waiters were all very kind and attentive. Well done, everyone!
