19/12/2025: Margherita Restaurant, located in the splendid Villa Franceschi, is more than just a place to eat; it's a true experience. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere enveloped us with a unique elegance, all complemented by lighting and furnishings that created a perfect ambiance. The dishes we tried, all seafood-based, were simply exceptional from the moment they were presented. Fantastic food in a historic Venetian villa setting that's always worth experiencing. In short, Villa Franceschi is a gem. From appetizers to dessert, everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. If you're looking for a top-notch meal for a special occasion or simply to pamper yourself, this is the place. We'll definitely be back! 5 well-deserved stars.

10/03/2026: I had a reservation for 12:30, but no one showed up to take our order until 2:00 PM. We chose just one entree and one dessert, but due to staff shortages, we left the table at 4:00 PM. Lack of organization, slow service, and no one told us we'd have a long wait.

01/03/2026: Very good pizza and very friendly staff. I've been there several times, both for meat and fish, as well as pizza, and I've always had a great experience. Even though it was a Saturday and the place was packed, the service was very fast and accurate.

08/02/2026: A little disappointing as the meal started well with 2 tasty starters. Then around 9:30 pm on (Saturday night) the waiter asked us if we were ready for the Primi pasta course as the kitchen was soon closing! When the main course arrived it was obvious that it had been cooked earlier and kept warm as the fish and sea food were dry and lost most of their flavour. Apart from the main course the rest of the food was good quality and enjoyable.

08/02/2026: I dined in the historic part of the restaurant, the less modern one. The decor isn't to my taste, but everything was perfect, well-kept, and clean. Next time, I'll book in the new room; it'll definitely be perfect. The fish is of excellent quality and freshness, and the wine list is impressive. The Catalana, in particular, is delicious. The bill was perfectly in line.

03/01/2026: A beautiful old property. The pool (additional charge) is also accessible to non-hotel guests. It's about a 20-minute walk to the town center (through the grounds of the neighboring clinic). Unfortunately, we discovered that instead of the large, park-like grounds with beautiful fig trees, an ugly supermarket now obstructs the view. The pool, which resembles a public outdoor swimming pool, is very crowded, especially on summer weekends! If we stay again, it would only be for an overnight stop. Therefore, only three stars.

It was fully booked when we first went, so we had to make a reservation for the following day—but it was absolutely worth the wait. We started with the carpaccio, which was incredibly delicious. I then tried the black pasta with shrimp and tomatoes, and it was easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. To finish, we had tiramisu, and it was simply out of this world. 🤌🏻

The food was delicious: I tried the Margherita pizza, crispy and full of authentic flavors, made with the freshest ingredients typical of the Veneto region. I paired it with a glass of local wine, which made everything perfect. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. But the real highlight was the staff. From the first moment, the team welcomed me with extraordinary kindness and professionalism. The waiters were attentive to every detail, ready to recommend the best dishes based on my tastes and ensuring impeccable service without being intrusive. A special compliment goes to all the staff: polite, smiling, and passionate about their work, they made me feel like a family friend rather than just another customer. Thanks to them, the evening was magical! I will return soon and highly recommend it to everyone. 5 full stars!
