02/11/2025: We got the tip from a guidebook, but we were very impressed. The restaurant is almost directly on the lake, with a fantastic view and a wonderful atmosphere when the sun is shining. The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, providing unobtrusive service.

23/10/2025: Closed. The information on Google Maps and their website isn't updated. Closed all day. There's no information even on the doors. Their attitude toward people is disrespectful.

12/01/2026: My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a Sunday evening. The place is beautiful and well-kept, and the food was excellent. We had meat. It was a little chilly inside, but otherwise everything was fine. I recommend it.

21/12/2025: My rating for the restaurant may seem low, but it was intentionally given to arouse curiosity to understand the reason! In fact, I've been here before, and the only positive rating I can give is the consistently fresh and impeccable food. Alas, however, I must admit that I've noticed the same flaws even after a long time between visits! In fact, the wait times between courses are like those at an old-fashioned wedding; everyone, including us, were visibly annoyed by the slowness. The exact same thing happened when it came to the bill, thus fueling the impatience, dictated by what I've said before. Oh... one thing we noticed was the way they came to the table to show us the receipt with the total in euros for the fish selected before cooking (very sad). Then, another sore point, the bill is always quite high in my opinion, and it really makes me want to never return. However, otherwise we spent an evening characterised by endless anticipation that left more of an impression on everyone's lips than the fish we ate.

13/10/2025: My experience at the restaurant was deeply disappointing. The ambiance is certainly elegant and refined, and the service is impeccable. At the suggestion of others who had already been there, I ordered the raw fish selection, which tasted very good. However, a few hours after leaving the restaurant, I developed symptoms such as severe cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea, which required medical attention to manage the severe symptoms (which were likely due to food poisoning). The main reason for my extremely poor rating is the handling of the complaint. Once I contacted the restaurant to report the situation, I received neither the necessary sympathy nor an admission of responsibility. Instead, the management attributed the discomfort to a pre-existing condition of mine, namely, high histamine levels, which, when raised by the raw fish, would have caused the symptoms. Despite explaining that I have eaten raw fish on several occasions without any side effects, they denied any connection with their product. In a restaurant that advertises itself as specializing in fish and raw fish, food safety is an absolute requirement. I don't think it's acceptable to feel so ill after dining at a restaurant of this caliber, nor that the restaurant's management is so indifferent. I hope this report leads to greater controls on food preservation. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against eating raw food at this restaurant.

My compliments to the entire staff who, despite the chaotic evening, managed to ensure excellent service... Bravo!!! 09/12/2025: Never again. Some friends and I had dinner here, eating pizza. The food was average, the place was nice, but the service was poor, to say the least. The waiter who took our order, who I believe was the owner, was incredibly arrogant, rude, and inappropriate. We asked for a glass after a bottle arrived, and he impatiently asked where we were when he asked how many glasses to bring when ordering. My friends and I were shocked and silent. I will never set foot in there again.

30/11/2025: Entering Villa Goetzen feels like stepping into another era: everything is so elegant yet welcoming. Spacious rooms and a generous, delicious breakfast! The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful.

18/06/2025: A good restaurant with very friendly service and exquisite dishes. The Seafoot is freshly caught and expertly prepared. A wide selection of regional wines and Prosecco is available.

13/05/2025: I stayed here for one night for work. The structure is finely restored in rustic style, the details are very well cared for. I used the restaurant and I ate well. The rooms are clean and modern, especially in the bathroom the toilet and bidet. The rooms that overlook the street can be a bit noisy, even if the double glazing dampens the traffic a lot. I recommend it!

07/12/2025: The food is good, but the service leaves much to be desired. At one point, they practically kicked us out. Because lunch was over. We arrived at 1:50 PM. At 3 PM, you had to stay outside. You just had to say no.

The dishes we tried, all seafood-based, were simply exceptional from the moment they were presented. Fantastic food in a historic Venetian villa setting that's always worth experiencing. In short, Villa Franceschi is a gem. From appetizers to dessert, everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. If you're looking for a top-notch meal for a special occasion or simply to pamper yourself, this is the place. We'll definitely be back! 5 well-deserved stars.

03/02/2026: A mediocre experience, not particularly exciting in my opinion. The place isn't very large in my opinion, with uncomfortable chairs and small tables. The grilled meat we ordered was good and delivered quickly, but the service could be improved: the accompanying bread/breadsticks weren't brought spontaneously, and two serving plates were chipped. It's also a good idea to let those who have booked know that there will be karaoke that evening, as it might not be welcome if you're looking for a quiet evening. The prices are quite good overall.

27/10/2025: A very nice and quiet restaurant/pizzeria, ideal for a relaxing meal. Overall, I ate quite well: the tagliata was delicious and the tiramisu excellent. However, I was disappointed with the grilled meat, both in terms of its presentation and the price, which was a bit high for what was on offer.

04/01/2026: We went for dinner on a Friday; the restaurant is in the center of Sandrigo, so there's plenty of parking available. Upon entering, we were greeted kindly and warmly by the owner, who sat us down at a table. We started with a tasting of raw fish, which was simply amazing. Then we opted for two scallops and some delicious baby octopus. We were then offered a sample of soft-shell crabs, which we naturally accepted (especially since I'd never tried them). Then we had spaghetti with clams and bottarga... Perfectly cooked and creamy... Delicious. The bill, of course, was in line with what we tasted. The owner also gave us a small bottle of the oil produced in his olive grove in Puglia, which he'd let us try during dinner. A total of 10 out of 10.

31/10/2025: If someone doesn't want us to enjoy the view with our dog, then they'll get poor ratings and no money! And I don't want to be stuck on some back terrace... It's a shame, not recommended for people with dogs unless you're willing to forgo the view...
