01/10/2025: The restaurant is located on the road from the beach. The sign says they also offer gluten-free pizza, which we were looking forward to. We planned to have lunch or dinner here. When we got there, they told us they don't do gluten-free pizza... You can imagine the disappointment and the quick search for an alternative.

06/01/2026: Lunch at this small restaurant near the center of Venice, overlooking one of its hundreds of characteristic canals. A very welcoming atmosphere with limited seating; as the restaurant itself emphasizes, "If you're in a hurry, go to a fast food restaurant." But trust me, the wait will be worth it: a varied menu with typical specialties, exquisite food with meticulous attention to flavors, and a very friendly and helpful staff. Prices are in line with what you'd expect from a city like Venice. Highly recommended!

19/01/2026: My wife and I went with a reservation yesterday, Sunday, January 18, 2026, to eat grilled meat. We ordered at 1:05 PM and arrived at 2:30 PM. When we asked several questions about how long we still had to wait, no response was given. When we left, no apology or anything else was said. The only thing we heard was "PAPER?"—no greeting or anything. All the other diners, with small children, were also complaining about the wait.

11/10/2025: I tried this restaurant a few weeks ago and returned recently. In both cases, we waited over an hour after ordering. The place was very hot, making the atmosphere almost uncomfortable. The food was delicious.

20/11/2025: incredible! if you need a spot for lunch while visiting Burano this is the place. we had the calabrese pizza and it was one of the best things we ate in italy. truly a perfect pizza. we also had a bottle of rosé and it was wonderful. staff was very kind as well. could not recommend it enough!

The pizzas are amazing and they are cooked super fast and are very affordable. Service is great everyone is super friendly. I really cannot fault it. I will visit every time I visit Verona without a doubt.

24/12/2025: After a long time, I've decided to write this, which isn't a typical review, because it's not based on a single experience, but rather on a long-standing relationship that has lasted for years. In my opinion, this place offers the best pizza for miles around. It's Neapolitan, but not overly chewy, and above all, in my opinion, the dough is exceptional. The ingredients on the pizza are top-quality. At Basiliko, you can also eat other truly delicious food, such as fish. The people are extremely courteous and friendly, the place is modern and welcoming, and the wait times aren't long unless you arrive right at the Saturday night rush hour. I'll make it clear that I have no personal interest, much less financial, in this place; I'm simply a loyal customer who has always had a great experience and has always been treated even better.

04/01/2026: Extreme disappointment and rudeness from the owner. Unfortunately, the experience was not a positive one. The owner displayed an unprofessional attitude and showed little concern for customer relations. Following his curt and unkind response, an unpleasant situation arose that clearly led to us not being served the welcome drink, which was, however, regularly offered to all the other tables. This behavior is perplexing and unworthy of a restaurant business. Even from a culinary standpoint, the quality of the food did not make up for the inconvenience, resulting in an overall lackluster and disappointing experience, with pre-made and frozen first courses. We will not be returning.
