19/02/2026: Taverna San Trovaso—who doesn't know it? I think everyone who frequents Venice has eaten there at least once. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the food is good at an affordable price, especially when you're working in Venice and want to sit down and eat without a long wait to get back to work. I highly recommend it.

The house white wine, served by the carafe, is fruity and mineral, making it the perfect accompaniment! A wonderful place to try without hesitation!

25/02/2026: We've been coming to Bardolino for many, many years, up to ten times a year. So we really know every restaurant. Given the wide range of options in Bardolino, Casanova wasn't our first choice. Now, at the turn of the year, the lease changed hands. The new owner is Sergio. We've known him for a while from the Tempo bar across the street. Now he's also leased Casanova. A bold move! Naturally, we went to check it out. The restaurant has been attractively renovated, and the restrooms are spotless. The menu is extensive. We found the prices reasonable. The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. My wife's octopus from the appetizer menu was enormous—more like a main course, really. The price of €26 for a good Prosecco was perfectly acceptable. We were there for lunch on Valentine's Day, February 14th. If Sergio can maintain this standard, he'll be successful in the market. We'll definitely be back in April. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: Fantastic experience at this restaurant. I had the tagliolini with lobster and a Prosecco reduction, and they were truly delicious. I also tried my friend's seafood dish: that, too, received top marks. The service was exceptional. The waiter even opened the lobster for me, a truly appreciated touch. An added bonus: they offer a welcome aperitif and even a amaro/sorbet at the end of the meal. The food was top-notch, and the staff was impeccable. I highly recommend it and will be back soon!

The prices are very reasonable; I'd say the value for money is truly exceptional. Oh, and there's both a set menu and a classic menu. Kudos to the team.

For appetizers, we had grilled vegetables and baked potatoes, simple but well-made and tasty. They also catered to those with special needs, with gluten-free options available. The staff was incredibly kind, always attentive and available throughout the evening, making us feel pampered from start to finish. A place where quality, kindness, and good food go hand in hand. 09/03/2026: Antiche Carampane had the misfortune of hosting a group of my friends and I for two nights in a row. Such was their charm. I can only report what happened: almost everyone ordered precisely the same thing the second evening as they had the first. You can form your own conclusions; but for me they are clear: what a place! Ingredients are king, and wines are queen. Thank you to everyone there, and their joyous spirit.

18/01/2026: What can I say? Everything was perfect. The setting was beautiful, small but well-maintained. It's a culinary experience you must try. Seats 16, so reservations are recommended. I was able to try the 10-course menu, paired with wines that really highlighted each dish. Even though I'm posting a photo, although the eye is important, it's not the same as trying to savor it. The female staff was very elegant and refined. For each course, they explained the dish to you with the appropriate wine. So, nothing to say, perfect. The bathroom even had a towel, not the usual paper roll. Easy parking in front of the restaurant, so excellent. One Michelin star since 2013, I believe. We change the menu every year to maintain this achievement. I recommend trying this culinary experience at least once. Thank you so much.
