One of the best dinners I've ever had! The food was beyond excellent and the portions were just right—you definitely won't leave hungry. Compliments to the entire staff; my partner and I felt like queens!

Delicious food, especially the excellent raw ham. A top-notch grappa and bitters menu. The wine list is reasonably priced. Everything was perfect. We went on December 26th.

We went for a pre-Christmas lunch, a real shame the place is so out of the way. The fish was very fresh, the quality excellent, the preparation simple. All the staff were very friendly.

Another year, another spectacular dinner here in Pila at Gente di Mare: every year during the holidays, Gente di Mare is a must-visit for at least one dinner. And the quality continues to improve, verging on perfection. Besides the food, the service, cleanliness, and orderliness of the place are also commendable. You have to know the place to find it, but it's definitely worth it, and you'll always return! Highly recommended!

We confirm the goodness and quality of this restaurant's food. We will continue to come whenever we can. Great cuisine, great chef. September 2025. We are back here punctually (I'm writing from table 8 of the restaurant). Delicious cuisine and impeccable service, even more refined. We confirm the quality of this restaurant once again. 54 km from Lido di Pomposa to come here to the Delta. Plus, you can only eat pink oysters in this area. Thank you, Chef. 09/05/2026: May 1, 2020 at La Lanterna. I needed a "certainty," meaning to eat well, paying the right price, and not getting upset about certain stupidities that, alas, are seen too often. Amazing spaghetti with clams. Unfortunately, there's smoking outside like in many other places, but at least here you can also choose to eat inside. Grande Lanterna, the only true LIGHT in a not particularly "bright" area (you often spend a lot but eat little or badly).

12/04/2026: Some places are more than just restaurants; they’re true gems. This is one of them, a shining beacon of life’s pleasures. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Umberto, elegantly dressed with his signature tie, welcomed us like old friends. Some in our group had been coming here for years, and it was easy to see why. The warmth and genuine enthusiasm of the welcome immediately stood out. The food is very reasonably priced and of exceptional quality. Seeing locals gather here for Sunday lunch says it all: this is clearly a beloved spot. The fish, sourced directly from Lake Garda, is a true local delicacy. I chose the truffle pasta as my main, which was excellent, and the dessert was just as impressive. A lovely personal touch: Umberto speaks fluent English, shaped by his years sailing across different countries and seas. Do make a reservation as this place fills up quickly. Ciao!
