25/07/2026: Fresh and delicious fish, not to mention the welcome, very friendly and cordial!!!

11/07/2026: On Friday, July 10th, I went into this restaurant with my mother without a reservation. An employee, without even saying hello, quickly announced that it was fully booked. Perhaps the woman's prejudice against those in casual clothing prevented us from dining. To top it off, my mother asked her for a recommendation for another restaurant, and the woman recommended a pizzeria instead of a seafood restaurant. In the end, I found another excellent seafood restaurant on my own, "La Tortuga." Not only did we eat deliciously, but the staff was courteous and very professional—the complete opposite of the woman at La Buca 2, where terrible service and a terrible atmosphere reign supreme. Don't go there, and don't recommend it to anyone; they don't deserve it.

08/04/2026: A complicated review because it's a combination of conflicting opinions on several aspects. The cramped, overly odorous atmosphere contrasts with the appreciable care, attention, and helpfulness of the staff. The restaurant's truly excellent cuisine is matched by one of the worst pizzas I've ever had (the dough, cooking, and even the ingredients were decidedly inadequate). The price is good.

02/04/2026: Excellent dinner The charcuterie and cheese platter was delicious, not to mention the delicious tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes and sea bream as a starter, the freshest fried squid, and finally, the delicious, homemade, warm chocolate heart. We thank Alba and Maurizio for their warm welcome, making us feel as if we were dining at a friend's house. The prices are also reasonable, and it's a place we'll gladly return to.

04/06/2026: Strange that some customers appeared to get a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, not offered to us, but whatever not the end of the world . Good food, good service

30/05/2026: Absolutely negative experience: we sat down at a table with a reservation at 8:30 PM. The waitress warned us that it would be a maximum of an hour's wait (already a long wait), and the pizzas arrived, after countless reminders, at 10:15 PM. Terrible service, to the detriment of the otherwise good pizza. Not recommended!

22/07/2026: The pizza isn't good, it seems like a frozen one.

21/07/2026: Pizza Diavola was okay. Fungi, on the other hand, was a sad-looking pizza. Taste was nonexistent. The waitstaff didn't notice us, so we couldn't order drinks again. When we waved to get their attention and ordered something else, it simply didn't arrive. We then went inside to pay. There are better restaurants.

17/07/2026: The place has now changed management and is called IR PASTAIO: now it's definitely very convenient. Basically, you choose the fresh pasta from the counter and the dish is then served in the type you like (carbonara, ragù di mucco, etc.). For just €6, for example, they'll get you a huge plate of caciuccata di fusilli!!! Really well prepared!!! Far from the crazy prices of many restaurants... Highly recommended place and unfortunately not advertised enough. For like €10 you can have pasta and dessert 👍👍👍

27/06/2026: Ir Tegame no longer exists. It's now called Ir Pastaio, the same place and the same menu, but it's like a diner: you choose your pasta shape and sauce, then you eat at a small table with plastic cutlery and a placemat that you take and throw away. Fast food prices and nothing more. They don't take reservations.

02/07/2026: The food is excellent! I’ve ordered takeout several times, and they’ve always been punctual. I love the service—it’s really good. The pizza is amazing; I highly recommend it.

29/06/2026: Very cozy place. With delicacies and good food! Good selection of wine, and nice people who work there.

22/05/2026: This restaurant is closed and up for sale.

11/05/2026: It wasn't open even though it said it was. We made the whole trip for nothing.

30/06/2026: Sky-high prices (we paid €12.50 for an American pizza with added ham), the dough was too salty, and the pizza was burned for the umpteenth time despite being asked to pay attention.

01/06/2026: Unfortunately, we were disappointed! Everything was too salty, and the fried foods were too peppery and spicy, as if to cover up the flavors. The service was good and the manager was kind, but, unfortunately, we didn't like the pizzas. They were too rich, the flavors didn't stand out, too heavy, and perhaps the dough didn't rise as slowly as it should. I had to stay up all night to get a drink. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

05/07/2026: High prices and poor quality fish

24/06/2026: I regret having eaten a first course with tomato sauce instead of fresh tomatoes, and the fish tasted frozen. The prices are high for the quality.

21/05/2026: The atmosphere is very refined, warm, and welcoming, with little noise and a wide selection of wines, including a private wine cellar, far beyond what you'd expect from a hotel restaurant.

19/05/2026: The service was extremely slow. We asked several times what's the problem, what takes so long and we were told every time that the food is coming in a minute. 40 minutes later arrived wrong dishes. The waiter started to argue that he's right (he didn't take the order) and we are wrong. The the waiter, who took our order, appeared and immediately told we were right and a new dish will be made. What he did not mention was, that it will be made after all the other orders; not right away. Of course. The level of service maintained low at all times. Judging by the looks people were giving to the staff, they did not succeed with them either.

19/04/2026: Disappointing experience! The hotel's location is difficult to find, on a very narrow country road where only one car can pass, so you have to be very careful. I slept terribly; the room smelled stale and sickening, not to mention the dirty mattresses and bedspreads full of stains and lint. It's not a three-star hotel. The only decent service is the food, which is all fresh.

15/04/2026: Dated and rustic hotel. Close to airport landing path but not too annoying. Friendly staff and good food made this a nice stay!

07/12/2025: Spotlessly clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, and a superb breakfast. Highly recommended, especially for its convenient access to Salerno.

27/08/2025: We've been coming here for over 20 years and can only say good things about it, as the family who owns it has always been very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return in the coming years, as it feels like home to us.
