17/08/2025: Although I hate to give such a low review, I have to give it 1 star. Tonight we wanted to eat pizza with the family, and we decided to try Neccio. We called and ordered five pizzas for takeout, to eat them at home with the family. I got to the pizzeria on time with the reservation, but my dad waited about 45-50 minutes for the pizzas. We paid full price for all five, despite the long wait, and even though the pizzas were pretty awful (to add insult to injury, I'd give the pizzas a 5/10 at most...). Even though it was hot, the crust was rubbery and the mozzarella was almost untouchable... (I'm talking about the Margherita). The white pizza with mushrooms was *slightly* better. I'm very disappointed.. 🫤

17/08/2025: Takeout pizzas; truly poor quality. The dough wasn't rolled out well and wasn't evenly cooked; let alone the poor quality of the tomato and mozzarella I tasted. The dough was also rubbery and tough. The order was prepared late by about 45-60 minutes; this delay forced me (due to unstable commitments) to eat around 11:30 PM, which was when I finally got rid of what I couldn't move.

31/07/2025: Top pizzeria in the area! If I'm craving Neapolitan pizza, O Vesuvio is the perfect place! Fast, friendly, fantastic pizzas, a favorite place ❤️

30/07/2025: Well, the area is industrial, the place is large and sparse, more like a lunch spot than a dinner spot, but nevertheless, it's welcoming in its own way. The pizza is very good, with top-notch ingredients, impressive desserts, fair prices, short wait times, friendly staff, but... the selection of after-dinner drinks is limited. Maybe I'll return; second impressions are usually more accurate. But the overall impression is more than positive.

28/08/2025: We ordered the €20 fixed-price menu. The first courses were generous and delicious, and for the second course we had the classic fried fish platter, which was generous, and a side salad. The €20 also included 1/4 cup water and wine, coffee, and a cover charge. Having eaten outside, we had mosquitoes for company, and the owners should put up something suitable on their own to ensure that those eating can survive. The place is very shabby, the bathroom wasn't clean at all (when it opened), and to get to it, you have to walk past the small open kitchen. So, you think you've chosen this place just to eat, and you close your eyes. However, as stated at the beginning, you get a meal for €20.

07/07/2025: 24.05.30 They made such a pizza and carbonara that our ears were ringing! I think it's a family business. A nice cold Peroni beer went with everything. We arrived early, nothing was open yet, around 5 o'clock in the afternoon, but they politely offered us a seat. Other diners were even spreading the tablecloth and looking at us like a pyromaniac at a wet straw. We sat down and could order, and we got it 10 minutes later, since it was just us. The pizza was heavenly, my son licked my carbonara and ate it up. Good place!!!***** And the point: we paid under 50 erika with more drinks for the 3 of us!

27/04/2025: I mostly get pizzas to take away, sometimes we eat them there. Good pizzas, friendly owners and staff.

05/07/2025: We had dinner with friends. At the end of the dinner we went to pay the bill at the cashier. After our request to split the bill in half with electronic payments, the bill magically increased and from a total of €89.50 two transactions of €45 emerged. When we asked the lady at the cashier (I assume the head waiter) for an explanation, she told us that since we had opted for two electronic payments the restaurant would have paid more in commissions. I asked curiously how much they paid in commissions and the cashier couldn't answer but candidly admitted that they also had a POS with which they paid less. Unfortunately the story of commissions has become a leitmotif. Are you paying too much? Just change the contract instead of making the customer pay. You have earned €0.50 and lost potential customers who will spend the whole season on the coast. Excellent business instinct 😉

16/08/2025: A decidedly disappointing experience. The dishes are very ordinary, without any particular refinement, and the service remains average. What's truly perplexing are the prices: they rarely go below €18 per dish, an exaggeration for the quality offered. The so-called "stumbling block" was the real disappointment: poor quality fish, served directly in an aluminum pan without even the slightest bit of plating, and all this for €36 for two. Truly unacceptable. We also ordered a seafood carbonara, a summer pasta dish, a bottle of water, and two coffees, spending a whopping €100. At this price, one would expect a much higher standard of cuisine and attention to detail: even the bathroom lacked paper towels to dry your hands. Personally, I don't recommend it: the prices are completely disproportionate to what's offered.

07/09/2025: Very nice place that deserves to be known for its cuisine and the kindness of the waitress who made the effort to speak French. Everything is perfect. A fantastic €25 menu. Too bad to be so far away....
