20/11/2025: A very quaint atmosphere, in the heart of Florence in a beautiful historic location. Amazing pizza, traditional Campanian first courses, second courses, and side dishes—superlative dishes.
20/11/2025: I'm very disappointed. I had high expectations based on what I'd heard about it. I ordered the Totò because I love fried eggplant. Four cubes of eggplant, unfried, and rubbery.
The only thing that was excellent were the two basil leaves, very fresh and fragrant.
Two stars only because the wait staff was perfect; otherwise, one.

30/11/2025: The pizza was good, cooked very well. Being a four-cheese pizza, perhaps a little more flavor would have been nice, especially in the Zola. Overall, a good dinner. Excellent location, a quiet and less chaotic part of Florence with easy parking nearby. Fairly affordable. The atmosphere was peaceful, as we ate on the outdoor veranda. Excellent service, a pleasant evening.
18/10/2025: A historic, welcoming, and family-run pizzeria. Good food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff.

17/10/2025: If you called at 10:10 PM after a soccer game in Calenzano, practically two steps away, we asked if six of us could come by 10:30 PM to make six pizzas and six beers—a pretty quick thing—and you told me it was too late and the kitchen was closing????
Do you realize!!!!
We stopped by the restaurant and there were still people who needed to finish eating, and you told me the kitchen was closing. We even took photos from outside, as it was almost full.
But forget about the restaurant fees.
We went to the "La Strada" restaurant, and they told us no problem. We got in at 10:40 PM. THANK YOU SO MUCH

30/11/2025: Unfortunately, even though we had a reservation, the wait was endless, and the first courses were brought out little by little. The service definitely needs improvement. 🤔😡
16/11/2025: We were greeted by one of the two owners with very poor manners. I must say that I have been going to this place for about 20 years. The food and quality are not the same as they used to be. The price is high. I will definitely not return. The lack of kindness and arrogance do not lead anywhere. To be avoided.

14/11/2025: Sunday family lunch.
We ate well, all seafood-based. The house appetizer was varied, including carpaccio, bruschetta with anchovies and peppered mussels, spaghetti allo Scoglio (seafood spaghetti) with even half a lobster, and mixed fried calamari, shrimp, and cod.
To finish, dessert was strudel with a scoop of gelato and tiramisu, both delicious.
The service was quick and courteous.
Prices were average for a seafood meal.

05/10/2025: Small restaurant with incredibly fresh, beautifully cooked fish. The staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous. The menu and wine list are amazing. A must-visit when I travel to Mugello for work.
18/06/2025: Exceptional experience at Angelo and Andrea.
It is one of the few restaurants where everything is superb from the appetizers, especially the raw ones, to the first courses, special mention for the spaghettoni with clams, to the desserts with the Catalan cream and the super zuppa inglese.
For the second courses..... we threw in the towel.... we will return.

01/11/2025: This isn't my first time at Amorino. I'd already noticed the coldness and unhelpfulness of some of the staff, but they were overlooked because the food was so good. Last time, I had dinner with friends from abroad. I took them out for pizza, confident it would be delicious, and they served us pizzas so thin, so thin, the only way to eat them was to fold them in 4. My complaints were quickly dismissed by a waiter, and 20 minutes later, a curly-haired girl arrived, even making jokes in the manner of a joke. This really pissed me off. There's no point in offering coffee, which included some half-witted jokes. I'd be tempted to give you a 1 for the problem-solving skills of the wait staff.

26/08/2025: Delicious! We enjoyed creamed cod on black polenta with marinated onions, tagliatelle with octopus ragù, anchovies, and fried flowers with a spicy sauce that paired perfectly. The desserts were not only delicious but also beautiful.
Everything was cooked with care and attention, presented with meticulous attention, and enriched with a touch of creativity that surprises without ever being overwhelming.
A special mention for the hospitality of the owner and chef: with his smile and kindness, he immediately makes you feel at home in his restaurant.
(The photos are just of the desserts... I got distracted eating without wasting time 😅).
Bravo, Hiron! 👏 We'll definitely be back.

15/09/2025: I had dinner with my family for my birthday. It was the best seafood restaurant in the center of Florence.
A relaxing and unique atmosphere with exceptional dishes, each one better than the last. If you're in Florence, you definitely have to stop by.
I'll definitely be back.
