30/11/2025: Contrary to other reports, almost all of the staff spoke perfect English. The food was really good and really fresh. The wine was great.

05/10/2025: We received 8 hamburger sandwiches + 1 salmon (wrong, I never ordered a fish sandwich) ALL COMPLETELY RAW, NOT rare! Since we all eat meat, even tartare or rare. It was absolutely raw. After calling the restaurant to inform them of what happened, Ms. Jessica took the liberty of completely contradicting the 8 customers, without even raising the slightest doubt about the possibility of incorrect cooking. Moreover, these were customers who had already been to the restaurant and found it good. But, after the employee's unprofessional and unsympathetic behavior, I think there is a risk of losing customers, and it's truly a shame. You should reprimand the lady because you don't react to the public by responding rudely, raising your voice on the phone, questioning the customer without proof and with arrogance. Especially after an order of over €90. I feel very sorry for the restaurant.

09/11/2025: It takes too long between the first and second courses, 15 minutes yes, but half an hour. In my opinion, the organization is terrible, I don't know, the kitchen is incapable of calculating time or the waiting staff doesn't send the command at the right time. In any case, it's normal for them, that is, they don't understand the customer's needs.

03/11/2025: Nice and well-kept atmosphere. Slow service (2 courses per person, no dessert or coffee) 1 hour and 45 minutes..... Chalkboard menu from which it's unclear whether the fish is fresh or not..... (It should be marked....). Let's get to the courses. Excellent appetizers, although not for everyone (shrimp tartare ordered 3 courses, 2). Hard fried fish (said.....). First courses: the spaghetti del Pirata with too much tomato. The others (ravioli and the other with bottarga....) are nothing special. The bill is quite expensive considering only one bottle of wine and 2 bottles of water for 5 people. It wasn't an experience worth repeating.....

22/10/2025: Unfortunately, this is an Italian restaurant that, on the one hand, is focused on quantity and treats tourists differently than locals. We were seated separately from the locals, along with other tourists. The food arrived quickly after ordering and looked the part. It also didn't taste like fresh ingredients. If you're looking for quantity and speed, you can go there. But not for freshly cooked food.

14/10/2025: A romantic evening for two, enjoying excellent seafood. Everything is fresh and beautifully served. Excellent wine, even by the glass. A relaxed atmosphere. The chef and owners are colorful, Florentine in style, friendly, and helpful. We'll be back to try other delicacies.

06/11/2025: The place is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was extremely negative, ruining what was supposed to be a relaxing day. 1) I had received a €60 daily spa package as a gift, but upon arrival I was asked to pay an additional €38 simply because the package didn't include a massage. Total: €98 for a service that, all things considered, fell far short of expectations. 2) The changing rooms are tiny: just one bathroom, two showers, and very little space. 3) During the spa session, we applied a simple face mask. Shortly afterward, an employee (named Barbara, with short, dark hair) approached from the door, repeatedly asking, in a less than polite tone, "What did you put on your face?" Not hearing well, she gestured for us to come closer as if we were children, then scolded us for not rinsing our faces in the hot tub. We may have made a small mistake, but being filmed publicly and in that way was embarrassing and decidedly inappropriate. One of my friends tried to politely talk to her to clarify, but Barbara kept talking over her, not letting her explain. It should be noted that two of us immediately rinsed our faces, and the other would never have done so anyway. Shortly afterward, the same employee Barbara returned to the hot tub, but as she left, she loudly exclaimed, "Rinse all three of us!" Frankly unacceptable behavior, especially in a center that promotes itself as a place of relaxation. 4) The relaxation area was anything but relaxing: the staff's voices could be clearly heard from the waiting room and disturbed the quiet. It was constant confusion. 5) The massage, which was supposed to last 30 minutes, started late because the room needed to be prepared, but it still ended early: barely 15 minutes, legs and back treated quickly, arms barely touched. When we asked, we were dismissively told that "they had to clean up for the next person." 6) Lunch was also disappointing: the waitress was visibly tired and unfriendly, and the portions were tiny (the chicken with potatoes was almost symbolic). 7) Finally, we expressed our dissatisfaction to the front desk, who confirmed they were already aware of what had happened. Even more disconcerting: everyone talked about it; if everyone knew, no one saw fit to intervene or apologize. A truly unpleasant experience, handled with little professionalism and zero customer care. Such a lovely place deserves staff of the same caliber. Unfortunately, we won't be returning and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

13/10/2025: The location is very beautiful, but the rooms are dated and need renovation. The restaurant is very good. As for the spa, everything needs renovation here too, but the staff is very good, a lot of work needs to be done.

07/09/2025: We found it by chance on our way back from a weekend in Orvieto. We ordered the mixed crostini, tagliatelle with rabbit ragù and crème brulee. The food was homemade and delicious, and I'd definitely return. The service was neither excellent nor infamous.

06/09/2025: It's a great idea to get off the highway and eat here instead of at a rest stop. It's a small place, but perfect for a quick stop and some typical dishes without breaking the bank.

28/11/2025: I've been to this pizzeria, just steps from the Santa Maria Novella train station. The pizza isn't bad, definitely above average, the prices are fair, and the staff is friendly.

09/09/2025: Nice service and the outdoor spot was very nice to sit in. Pasta was good but not amazing

03/09/2025: We were there a few days ago. The location is stunning, both for the garden and the hotel-side entrance. The friendly service is perfect for those who appreciate attentive service. They even seat you with the person who sets your chair. If your glass is empty, the waiter will come promptly. The pizza is good, but not the best I've had. The dough is easy to digest, and the ingredients deserve a 4 out of 5, so it gets a thumbs up. The desserts also get a thumbs up. The price is obviously higher than average, but it's justified by one of Florence's most prestigious locations.

16/10/2025: This was a fantastic spot to celebrate our anniversary while visiting Florence. The sophisticated atmosphere and impeccable service made this a very special meal. Bedsides our delicious multi-course meal, we were greeted with a lemon/vodka/prosecco apertivo, a tasting platter, and an elegant presentation of four types of bread. Between our dishes, we were served a very light palate refresher with green chartreuse. Cestello has an extensive wine list; another table ordered the wine flight and it was lovely admiring the presentation! Both the charred sea bass and chef-special branzino were phenomenally tasty. My husband ordered gnocchi, and amberjack from the Crudite menu. Each dish delivered layers of flavors, a real distinction in a city filled with good food. The service included at least four different servers attending to our fresh flatware. Each course seamlessly blended with the best. It was a feast for the senses. For dessert, we chose the chocolate dome with banana-rum sorbet, and espresso. Finally, when my stomach felt ready to burst, our server brought out a tiered sampler with six bite-sized dolci for us to taste. The whole evening was exquisite!

16/10/2025: We had a group of ten. Table was set so we were quite spaced out but it was quiet. Food prepared nicely but not great for the price! Slow service. There were lots of great extras like a starter lemon vodka drink, bread, fabulous bread sticks, crackers with oil. And yummy candies at the end! Quite pricey!

02/11/2025: All the dishes we tasted were excellent (tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and truffle, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, Florentine steak, seadas, crema catalana, tiramisu, Sardinian myrtle).

15/10/2025: Everything was delicious, very large, we ordered pizza and a calzone, delicious, super big, a calzone for two was great.
