26/12/2025: I've been going there my whole life, and as far as I'm concerned, it's the only restaurant where I order pizza. My favorite: neither shallow nor deep, with just the right height of "step," quality ingredients, and perfect cooking. My favorite: THE ONE WITH EGGPLANTS, and they understand right away. What more can I say? I'm calling now to book a table before the end of the year.

26/08/2025: Delicious! We enjoyed creamed cod on black polenta with marinated onions, tagliatelle with octopus ragù, anchovies, and fried flowers with a spicy sauce that paired perfectly. The desserts were not only delicious but also beautiful.
Everything was cooked with care and attention, presented with meticulous attention, and enriched with a touch of creativity that surprises without ever being overwhelming.
A special mention for the hospitality of the owner and chef: with his smile and kindness, he immediately makes you feel at home in his restaurant.
(The photos are just of the desserts... I got distracted eating without wasting time 😅).

We found a charming and intimate place. The setting was simple (3 stars). The service was very friendly and attentive (4 stars). We ordered pasta with paté and provola. Very good, although the pasta was overcooked. The fried food could be better presented. I expected more variety, but the price was generous (€6). I recommend adding to it, even if it's higher. The frying oil was barely usable. The Pulpititiello affogato was tasty even though it wasn't freshly made. The scialatielli raised the bar a bit (from 2 to 3 stars). The pasta was cooked perfectly, and even the cherry tomatoes and lobster sauce tasted freshly sautéed. The wine, chosen on recommendation, was average. I found the bill a little high for the quality of the food. P.S. For the manager: Campanian cuisine is undoubtedly among the most popular in Italy. Choosing traditional dishes with consistently fresh ingredients will make all the difference.
12/10/2025: Hi, I ordered some take-out pizzas. They were very small, and the mozzarella wasn't mozzarella at all, but more of a stringy cheese. The dough, on the other hand, had no taste whatsoever, it was flavorless.

02/01/2026: The service and food were absolutely perfect. We chose the degustation menu for two, and it was a real jackpot — every course was beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and based on outstandingly fresh seafood.
The staff were professional, attentive, and made the whole evening feel effortless and relaxed. You can truly feel the care and passion behind what they do.
If you’re looking for top-level seafood in Florence, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back.

02/11/2025: We booked a bit last minute, and they offered us a seat in the bar area, and I must say it was an intimate setting nonetheless. We ate very well, the service was pleasant, and the highlight, in my opinion, definitely goes to the value for money, which I'd call excellent for a place in the center of Florence, in such a refined setting, with such high-quality, and knowledgeable staff. We'll definitely be back.
30/09/2025: The restaurant has an elegant and modern atmosphere, reminiscent of those found in major international capitals. The attention to detail and presentation are certainly strong points.
The menu offers a wide selection of Chinese dishes, including vegetarian options. The variety and quality of the dishes seem to be highly appreciated by customers.
The waiters are friendly and professional, which contributes to an even more pleasant experience.
The bar at the entrance offers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing aperitif before dinner.

07/09/2025: We found it by chance on our way back from a weekend in Orvieto. We ordered the mixed crostini, tagliatelle with rabbit ragù and crème brulee. The food was homemade and delicious, and I'd definitely return. The service was neither excellent nor infamous.
06/09/2025: It's a great idea to get off the highway and eat here instead of at a rest stop. It's a small place, but perfect for a quick stop and some typical dishes without breaking the bank.

31/01/2026: A disgraceful restaurant! We went because of the good reviews, and to our surprise, nothing could be further from the truth.
It was terribly cold and unpleasant on January 31st.
The food was a real shame... but what shocked us was charging 25 euros for a hamburger with stale bread and cold pickles.
And what can we say about the Florentine steak? It was like shoe leather. A truly awful experience.

25/10/2025: We ordered two lobster chitarrine, a gnocco with Gorgonzola and truffle, and fried fish with vegetables.
The lobster entrees tasted of tomato, not fish. We had half a lobster, but it was overcooked, rubbery, and tasted like ammonia. For the price, I expected much more. The fried food was undercooked, with more vegetables than fish, and the fries were undercooked.
The gnocco was nothing to complain about, very good.
I don't think I'll return, although I'm sorry.

13/01/2026: Welcoming staff, a reimagined traditional venue, and food that's neither good nor bad. We expected more.
01/01/2026: I made a reservation for two people on October 26, 2025, for December 31, 2025, more than two months in advance. The reservation included a TheFork discount on the à la carte menu.
Just to be sure, on December 12, 2025, I contacted the restaurant directly to confirm that, for the evening of December 31, a à la carte menu was also available in addition to the set menu, so I could take advantage of the discount. They confirmed in writing that this would be possible.
On December 31, I received another email from the restaurant to confirm the table, to which I replied confirming my attendance.
Having arrived promptly at the agreed-upon time, I was instead informed that it was not possible to order anything other than the set menu, a complete contradiction both to what I had previously been told and to what was advertised on their social media channels.
Faced with this evident lack of consistency and respect for the customer, I decided to leave. Since it was New Year's Eve, no other nearby restaurant was available, forcing me to opt for a food truck.
I'll leave it up to the reader to assess the reliability and integrity of this place.
