10/05/2026: Excellent experience, as always, at Aqaba! We come often and have always had excellent food, both pizza and fish, but today, for my daughter's First Communion, they truly outdid themselves. Exceptional menu: rich and carefully prepared appetizers with crostini, bruschetta, cured meats, and a truly delicious porcini mushroom flan with pecorino fondue. Spectacular first courses, from paccheri with scottona ragù and 24-month-old Parmigiano to risotto with broccoli, burrata, and walnut crumble. Impeccable second courses include sliced beef and pork tenderloin with roast potatoes. A truly extraordinary finish with a mille-feuille with Chantilly cream, simply incredible! Impeccable service, fast and always attentive. Everything was fabulous, highly recommended!

I went back and ordered the same dishes.
The fregola has definitely improved. The cream millefeuille, unfortunately, is still beautiful to look at, but even worse. The matchsticks are grosser. When you insert the matchstick into the supposed cream, it comes back without any cream attached. This is because it's not cream... it's cream... and it was even taken out of the fridge. Whoever makes this cream should go to pastry school! The Aqaba of the past was impeccable. When we mentioned the cream, we were told
...she always makes it... exactly!
2025. I tried the fregola and the cream millefeuille. The fregola wasn't cooked the same way as last time; it was a bit bland. The cream in the millefeuille was very thick... too much... in short, today the quality of the food was worse than other times. I've already had the experience where the quality of the dishes isn't always the same. Reason?
