06/05/2025: Reading the reviews, it seemed like a retro place but with a simple but valid offer. We happened upon an evening in which it was not possible to eat pizza (perhaps when one makes a reservation, given that it is mainly a pizzeria, perhaps specify it..) due to their problems, we nevertheless decided to stay given the late hour and we regretted it: terrible starters, poorly made first courses and taken away. It's unfortunate because it gave the impression of a tired, finished place... from the staff to the place, I couldn't find a positive note... not even the POS was working that evening. I'm sorry but I would never recommend it.

The menu offers a wide range of pizzas made with fresh, quality ingredients, and appetizers are perfect to start the meal. For dessert, we enjoyed the Neapolitan pastiera and the graffe, both delicious and perfect for ending the meal with a touch of sweetness.

01/08/2025: La Rocca at Castelfalfi is a dream come true if you enjoy masterfully prepared dishes that are composed of locally sourced ingredients and combine flavor and texture in ways you can't imagine. Chef Davide De Simone and his crew really outdid themselves with incredible combinations. Every course of the tasting menu was exceptional and creative, but the escargots and the risotto just blew us away. As always, the people make the difference, in our case Mr Jacopo made us feel at home from the minute we stepped into the gorgeous dining room. His knowledge of the dishes, ingredients and preparation techniques was outstanding, but above all he was a kind person with a captivating smile - and outstanding Spanish skills :-) Thank.you for a wonderful evening, Valeria and Daniel

05/07/2025: Recently, I suddenly remembered this restaurant that I had eaten at more than ten years ago. On a whim, I immediately made an appointment with friends to revisit the taste of the past. The environment is similar to what I remember, not much has changed. It still focuses on seafood dishes, and the familiar atmosphere makes people travel back in time. The menu offers set meals and a la carte. We finally chose a five-course set meal, and ordered two more shrimps (after all, it feels uncomfortable without adding some 🤣). | Appetizer | The two appetizers are one cold and one hot. The cold one is raw food and the hot one is cooked food. The taste is excellent, which is the kind that will make people appetizing and look forward to the next rhythm. | Add points | We added a crayfish, red devil shrimp and smoked salmon. Both shrimps are super fresh and sweet, with a firm and chewy texture. They are definitely one of the highlights of the night. As for the salmon, it is a bit average. | Main course | The main course is handmade Italian dumplings with squid ink, and the skin is the highlight! The skin is bouncy and has a bit of seafood flavor, which goes really well with the red devil shrimp. The only pity is that the filling is sheep's milk filling... It's a bit too greasy for me (personal taste issue), In the end, I only ate the skin and shrimp, which is just right! (If the filling is fish, I will definitely give it full marks 💯) |Main Course| Saffron crispy red mullet, with raisins, pine nuts, and kelp, The aroma and taste are very rich, the fish skin is crispy, and the fish meat is tender, It is a very satisfying main course. |Dessert| The dessert is a little sweet, but it is still within an acceptable range, On the contrary, I prefer the peanuts 🥜𝖯𝗋𝖾𝖣𝖾𝗌𝗌𝖾𝗋𝗍. Overall, this dinner was very satisfying. Each dish had its own highlights. The only small regret was that the dumpling filling was not to my liking.

17/04/2025: A place I frequented about 8 years ago, the food was good, it was expensive but it was worth it.. but now I was very disappointed.. Very gloomy entrance, very "basic" set tables. I ordered chickpea humus with steamed prawns as an appetizer, the flavor wasn't bad but it wasn't a humus, it was a simple puree of chickpeas, the bad thing was the presentation... the prawns were mixed with the cream and looked unappealing. First I ordered the maccheroncini with pistachio pesto with squid and clams and I received lilies with unmixed pesto oil with cheap clams and tufts of tasteless squid, pasta clearly already prepared and reheated, I refused to eat it, it was horrible. They justified themselves by blaming the pasta they get from another pasta factory and I don't know but I prefer to remain in doubt. He says that now they have put maccheroncini and now even if they are lilies they have decided to leave maccheroncini... well... let's move on to the second... cod in a crust with poppy seeds and pure potatoes I received 3 fillets without crust but with poppy seeds they were full of hard and salty bones they had not been soaked enough a dish that overall could have been saved but the chef decided to sacrifice it too... side dish of fried artichokes and they are also season but no frozen artichoke hearts with a poor batter they were hard and tasteless I left half the cod and artichokes.. chocolate vulcanello dessert could have been done better but let's save it.. my husband ate everything very against his stomach he doesn't like to leave stuff on the plate but the octopus with artichokes was missing the lemon in fact they turned black the spaghetti was hard the frozen tuna too the artichokes and then we get to his dessert.. the tiramisu.. if I order a tiramisu I expect a tiramisu with Ladyfingers soaked in coffee covered with mascarpone cream made with fresh eggs and instead a plate arrived with a cup of coffee 5 pavesini on the side and a small bowl with cream and cocoa.. prices halved compared to years ago so the quality no longer exists.. all silly without salt big mistake because a chef must taste he must know what he puts on the table. they were honest because they didn't charge for my first one but I didn't send them back the rest just out of politeness. I will never return again. We didn't even like the coffee. Of the whole dinner the wine was saved, a Borgheri Vermentino just because I cook them, luckily I didn't have a hand in it.

23/07/2025: They told me about the sushi and tempura. Everyone raved. I actually tried the tempura (not here), and when they invited me to this other restaurant, I gladly accepted, but the house one was a little too crunchy for me. The ravioli were very good, light and tasty: an eight if I had to give them a grade like in school. The spring rolls were acceptable, but it's a shame about the broth, which was so hot that, once it cooled, it seemed tasteless. The place was spacious and not crowded, but the five of us were a bit cramped. The decor was spectacular, with a bit of everything, and even a cute little angel watching over us at the table. The Japanese cuisine isn't really to my taste (I prefer Thai), but... the ravioli were really good. I didn't take any photos because the lighting was too low and I wanted to avoid the distracting flash. The menu was endless, incomprehensible to me, and without illustrations, but it was then "explained" well by the waitress. The table was nicely set, but the napkins were paper. In short, even though the sushi isn't particularly appealing to me, thanks to the rest and the pleasant company, it was a pleasant couple of hours away from the usual steak and ribollita menu. And the prices, I think, were more than reasonable, especially regarding the AYCE (all you can eat) option, which I'm told is very popular. -- Outskirts of town, with a cinema nearby and the stadium a little further on. Parking nearby.

21/06/2025: Overall, extremely subpar experience despite some highlights. Food and service being the lowlights. Of the dishes we tried, 50% were inedible (e.g. mullet, grains). We also had two times where the portion sizes were drastically different between two people at the same table. The servers didn’t do anything about it. For example, the spaghetti portions had one that was 50% the other which was comically bad. Another artichoke dish one plate had 3 and another plate only had 2. Shocking how little attention to detail the restaurant had for being so expensive. The service was also extremely slow (which I can understand given they were busier), but with the price, our expectations were much higher. I don’t recommend anyone coming here because of the lack of quality control and training in service.

08/07/2025: Pizzeria adiacente al campo sportivo organizzata per gestire grandi gruppi. Il locale è diviso in una parte interna abbastanza grande e climatizzata 3 una parte esterna ampia che può gestire un centinaio di persone. Noi ci siamo presentati in 40 per una Réunion scolastica e ci siamo trovati bene. Pizza e bitra.. bambini serviti velocemente per primi .. spazio per correre e giocare un po' senza grossi problemi. Servizio veloce e disponibile nonostante il numero elevato di persone da servire contemporaneamente o quasi. Pizza buona. Impasto quasi napoletano. Ben farcita. Da tenere in considerazione per queste occasioni dove siamo numerosi.

Avevo già un bel ricordo di una cena di qualche anno fa ma questa volta credo che abbiano superato se' stessi...antipasto da urlo con gamberi rosa con fragole, cocomero,arancia su un letto di una delicatissima burrata...primo piatto di tonnarelli con una valanga di pesce(mai mangiato cosi ricco)...e per finire in bellezza profiteroles con crema chantilly e cioccolato fondente!!! Cosa dire del servizio..impeccabile,discreto,tutti molto gentili! Tornerò molto presto!!!
