18/05/2025: We ate there for the annual CinqueCento gathering. The numerous staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food (ravioli, fish) was very good, although the grilled fish needed a bit more seasoning for my taste.

03/06/2025: Unfortunately, I can't understand the many positive reviews for Bagno Nettuno at all. The staff is consistently friendly and very nice – I would like to expressly commend that. Unfortunately, that's where the positive aspects end. The food was disappointing overall. The fritto misto – although stated on the menu as possibly frozen – was of really poor quality. We've had much better versions of it, even in the immediate vicinity. The side salad was unacceptable: several leaves were gray and moldy – that simply shouldn't happen and should be thrown out. The spaghetti vongole was okay, but nothing more. The mussels were rather sparse, and the pasta was al dente, but the overall experience was just not up to scratch. I honestly don't understand why this restaurant is so often full and gets such good reviews. For me, the food was below average and definitely not a recommendation. If you fancy a good fritto misto, you should go to the Rosticceria in the village square near the beach – there you can get fresh and much better fritto misto for 10 euros.

18/06/2025: Brilliant restaurant away from the bustle of the central city. Very kind hospitality, warm smiles & great recommendations across the food and wine. Highly recommend the duck and potato, soft, sweet & overall delicious. Recommend booking to avoid disappointment. The restaurant accepts bookings on the phone & online - I placed a card as a holder. Will definitely return!

06/06/2025: The seafood carbonara was plentiful but nothing special, considering it is considered the excellence of the place (dry mussels, full of cream, I would say heavy and cloying... Better a rock), appetizer samples seemed like leftovers. The best was the dessert and the fried food from the next table seemed good but I still have to understand all these excellent reviews for the food. Go around Viareggio more even at the same cheap prices, there are better places to eat.

05/06/2025: I'll start by saying that there were 2 of us and we only ate one pizza each and a poker of bruschetta. From how the poker was presented to me I thought it was more like 4 bruschetta, each different from the other, but instead it was two flavors (diced tomato and a pâté di vui I couldn't tell you). Since I said that the poker was for one person I thought it was more like 4 distinct flavors...well...about the pizza you have to say, nothing particularly exceptional. Good and well cooked. The service was kind and fast. From the photos I saw online, I imagined the environment to be a bit more intimate, but that's fine too. We had a good time.
