25/12/2025: Family Christmas, excellent lunch. Everything was delicious, but the braised cheek was phenomenal and deserves extra praise. Impeccable service, attentive but never intrusive. Varied wine list with excellent wines. Grandma's chest of drawers is always a guarantee. I only photographed the appetizer because we then got lost in conversation and wine.

02/12/2025: We went to the Testina restaurant and had a truly wonderful meal. Ivan, the owner, immediately makes you feel at ease thanks to his friendliness and the passion he puts into his work. The quality of the fish is excellent, and the meticulous selection of ingredients is evident. The dishes are highly refined, both in their preparation and flavor, meticulously crafted and truly surprising. Impeccable service, a pleasant atmosphere, and high-quality cuisine: a restaurant we'll definitely return to. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

24/11/2025: Everything at Testina exudes a love of produce and a passion for gastronomy. The dishes are a balance of colors, aromas, and flavors, bold yet perfectly harmonious. The service is attentive yet welcoming, and the restaurant is intimate and meticulously maintained. An experience definitely worth repeating.

26/11/2025: This restaurant is near Santa Croce, but on a somewhat confusing street where even the GPS system would get stuck trying to find it. It's accessible to the disabled, but there's no parking; the closest one is on Sant'Ambrogio. The restaurant is very elegant, almost refined, but perhaps with too many waiters; two people serve you almost every time, and they're often crowded together near the door. The menu is Neapolitan, offering both classic and gourmet pizzas at reasonable prices, even considering other pizzerias. As soon as we sat down, they asked us if we'd like a bubbly (thinking it was free, we took it given the way they almost offered it to you when telling you, but instead...) then we had a second serving of frittatine (good, but they made a mistake and they got some montanarine, which I sent back, and the correct dish arrived after 20 minutes) and for the main course, two gourmet pizzas, the Intrusa and the Florence (good, but we waited an hour for these, ridiculous for pizzas. I asked for them twice and when they arrived they didn't even apologize, so when it came to the bill, I mentioned it and they said they'd mixed up the tablets, but the fact that the people who arrived after us already had it under their lips as a waiter makes me wonder). All accompanied by two small beers and a still water. As for dessert, they only had two options, which we didn't try, and we finished with a coffee and an amaro. Please note: when you book a table at this place, there are two sittings. We chose the second one, at 9:30 PM, but we arrived well in advance, at 8:35 PM, and it was also empty, so we sat down. Secondly, as you can see from the photos, the menus are different. The one outside has some dishes, while the one you'll find with the QR code inside is missing or missing many (our phones didn't have reception inside, so the menus wouldn't open, so I asked for a paper one and they forgot about it. Luckily, the phone has since regained some life, otherwise it would have been years before we had a menu). All things considered, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Waiting all that time for pizzas that weren't even that great as the other reviews made it seem isn't worth it. The bubbles that seemed like a freebie when they arrived on the bill were way overpriced for a pizzeria. And after all that waiting time and the wrong dish arriving, at least an apology or a complimentary coffee would have been the least I could do, but it's clear that building customer loyalty, saving yourself from bad reviews, or not turning away a disgruntled customer isn't something everyone can do. Dinner time ---> starts at 8:35 PM ----> ends at 11:20/11:30 PM...and that says it all.

08/02/2026: An evening with a friend. I returned to the Stazione after a long time, and the experience was truly superb. The service was friendly and attentive to detail. The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented. One standout (though it's hard to rank highly given the deliciousness and quality) was the fried octopus: as they say in the ads, "crispy on the outside and soft on the inside." A delight!

26/12/2025: A lucky find, since not many restaurants are open on Christmas Eve. The atmosphere was a bit subdued, perhaps because we were the only customers. The English translation of the menu was incorrect, and what we wanted to order was either not available or simply not on the menu. Wine prices were only listed per bottle. In the end, we ordered three portions of pisi with duck ragu—the food was delicious! All's well that ends well!

05/11/2025: This is a must-visit in the area. The food is FANTASIC and the owner is one of a kind. It was our son's birthday and she really made sure he had an extra special evening! This was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Outstanding!

11/12/2025: Close your eyes, listen to the clacking of glasses, listen to the voices of the diners delicately conversing, smell the fruity wine in your glass, smell the authentically cooked fish. Open your eyes, you're at the peniche, where taste meets harmony and every dish becomes a masterpiece of flavor and exaltation. Speechless, try it to believe it.

24/03/2026: Very nice place on the promenade. The food is good, but the combinations aren't always convincing. The portions are too small. The service wasn't up to par, at least not the person serving our table. Definitely too expensive for the experience.

26/12/2025: I do not recommend this restaurant. The staff is rude (I was told that the waitress might not be well, so if she's not well she treats the customers badly, which is an absurd excuse). They're not equipped for children (they don't have a changing table, I had to change her diaper there while we ate), and the high chair was broken, I had to hold her. The food isn't bad, but the desserts aren't their strong point. The Christmas lunch menu cost €65, which was fine, but they wanted to charge a little girl who only ate a plate of clams €65. I understand that it's the Christmas menu, but humanely charging €65 to a little girl who didn't eat anything seems excessive. We reported it, and luckily they charged less, but the owner there treated us rudely, telling us we should be ashamed. In short, terrible service. I'd like them to think about one thing: there were 16 of us and we all complained. Maybe if I were them, I'd ask myself a few questions. Learn to work with customers because they're the ones who bring you money. A word of advice!
