01/09/2024: Discovered in the covid era after the renovation. It's the third time we've been there and others will follow. We left specifically from Viareggio, over 200 km, to enjoy the beauty of the Uccellina park and the food of this place that enhances the local catch. Tradition, innovation, location and value for money make it a special place.

We have been going to this restaurant for 20 years and I must say that even the friends and acquaintances we have brought always go there when they have something to celebrate, the food is made expressly. Excellent for quality and price. As for areas of the city, there are many others that can be compared. For us, Pina D'Oro is like our family. Very clean place, excellent food, very helpful staff. I'm so sorry that some people try to attack those who work honestly by inventing everything and more. everything at 🔝 as usual Excellent pizzas with seafood dishes, all worth trying. as always the pizza is fantastic, Thanks for everything. see you soon

11/08/2024: Title: if you can't manage all those places, reduce them. The amount of people there in the first and second shift is shocking, chaos even in the orders, one waiter in particular arrives and while you are giving him the order he gets lost around interrupting you by moving away to arrange any other customers at the table... and guess what happens then? Commands that arrive at random and distant from each other. Absolutely good quality food and you can feel it, with generous portions. I absolutely do not recommend Saturday or Sunday (when I came). For the rest, a restaurant with a lot of potential... but the number of waiters or how the service is managed needs to be reviewed.

25/07/2024: Un’ottima sorpresa in una situazione in cui il paese è veramente pieno di turisti e quindi è facile cadere in una situazione di grande caos.il tavolo ci aspettava e non è stato utilizzato più di una volta.ottima la qualità dei cibi e il personale molto attento e professionale.la location molto interessante in quanto si trova nel posteggio principale ma non rimani a nel caos serale.

18/08/2024: A place with clear ambitions... and which would certainly have significant potential... but where there is a lot to review. We booked and arrived promptly at 8.30pm ... but they took our order only after a good 15 - 20 minutes of waiting ... and in any case after several and repeated looks of disapproval towards the waitress, because they hadn't yet asked us if in the in the meantime we wanted at least some water or bread. The starters finally arrived at 9.15pm: both the seared octopus and the sardines were very good. When at 10pm we were almost about to give up on the first courses and were about to get up, they finally arrived... decidedly too late: the gnocchi were good, even if not very hot... it was a pity that the octopus in the pasta was so spicy that it completely hid the taste of the octopus itself! We felt embarrassed when they asked us if everything was going well and did we want dessert or coffee. The owner, who took the order and brought us the dishes, never apologized for the delays, not even at the checkout. We had high expectations but instead we were deeply disappointed: sometimes it would be better to behave less and/or do as other places in the area do which, for the same price, with greater simplicity and concreteness are much more satisfying!

14/08/2024: Siamo arrivati in questa trattoria molto accogliente dove abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Le portate a partire dalle polpettine come antipasto, primi, secondi, contorni e dolci a lasciarci senza parole per la bontà .. da notare i titolari di questa trattoria come curano il loro locale in ogni piccolo dettaglio . Sicuramente se avremo occasione torneremo visto che siamo arrivati lì per caso tornando verso casa nostra, l'aquila...grazie per questa bellissima esperienza!

04/08/2024: Very good discovery menu, a little less liked the oyster rissoto but the rest was very good, however in the room it is very very very hot, it is rather difficult when we are not on the terrace otherwise we have enjoyed our dishes thanks to the Chef 🌹😊

22/08/2024: Scoperto per caso nel tragitto da Livorno a Bologna. Tutto ottimo: antipasto di pesce e spaghetti allo scoglio superlativi con pesce freschissimo. Per I bimbi hanno fatto un'ottima cotoletta con patate (su richiesta e anche se non era nel menù). Accoglienza e servizio calorosi. Un posto dove tornare!

15/07/2024: Born from the determination of the owner, Filippo, after his experience at La Foce, can boast one of the best fish cuisines in the Arezzo province (perhaps the raw millet of the province), and an excellent cellar (especially in whites). Pizza and meat dishes are also very good. Nice and convivial atmosphere with a splendid terrace in the summer. The friendly courtesy of the owner and his staff is irresistible.

15/07/2024: Recommended by other local businesses, in fact the food was good, the waitress was super courteous and kind, we couldn't fully appreciate it, only appetizer, good, pici, good, but after the first forkful we had to leave due to a lot of flies shocking, with sprays of insecticide for hours and during the meal... shame

13/08/2024: Excellent quality food prepared in a seemingly simple way but which enhances the local raw materials!! Minimal environment but refined in every detail which gives guests relaxing comfort!! In the Camelia room, an empathetic but discreet and very professional presence!! Advised!!!

19/08/2024: Restaurant with excellent quality products processed with respect for their origin and with the right amount of taste appeal to make them modern. Good wine list, courteous and customer-focused staff. I highly recommend, it's worth it.

16/08/2024: The place is nice and the staff very kind, attentive but not intrusive. The menu is made up of a dozen dishes, equally divided between starters, first courses and second courses. (Personally I'm wary of mile-long menus). Wide choice of wines. Plus point: the food is excellent, the ingredients and cooking are excellent. Point against: portions of a starred restaurant. If it were for the quality of the dishes I would certainly give five stars, but we are neither on the Emerald Coast nor on the Ligurian Riviera. My "beef cheek with potatoes and rosemary" is made up of 3 pieces of meat. The "potatoes" are a spoonful of mashed potatoes on the bottom of the beef. We had dinner very calmly, but after 5 minutes we had finished the dishes and the wine was practically all still there. We stayed another half hour to finish it, finishing all the bread in the basket. At the nearby tables the same situation... a family, having finished dinner (after 10') reordered some first courses. We preferred to go to the Corso and get an ice cream... So, if you are not very hungry, you like to eat well and you are those types who manage to exalt/justify diet portions, then go here. If you have children, are hungry, or would simply feel cheated by paying €22 for (1 pound?) of beef, well, look elsewhere.

14/08/2024: It was recommended to us for a quick lunch, it was very late beyond 3pm but despite the time they welcomed us, we had spaghetti with clams and pasta with scampi, the dishes were good, the service was very fast and the staff were very kind, we also paid the right amount . If I returned to those parts I would go again. Highly recommended!!!!

11/08/2024: we returned after two years, obviously for lunch because it is impossible to book for dinner and I must say that we were satisfied. Mixed fish starter, mixed fried food and a portion of stuffed anchovies, 1/2 liter of house white wine, 1 liter of water, a fruit salad, a slice of pear and chocolate cake and a coffee, bill €50.00

09/06/2024: Ho pranzato recentemente a La Buca. Ho provato il polpo csciuccato, che era cucinato alla perfezione: tenero e pieno di sapore. Forse la porzione era un po’ piccola. Come antipasto, ho preso il carpaccio di salmone, buono, forse tagliato un po’ poco fino. L'ambiente è accogliente e familiare, il personale è stato gentile e disponibile. I prezzi sono giusti per la qualità del cibo, anche se le porzioni mi sono sembrate un po' piccole. Nonostante questo, la qualità dei piatti compensa ampiamente.

24/05/2024: We were here with a group of ten, including two locals who recommended La Buca 2. We had a great time and enjoyed our meal. I recall having the Paccheri Alla Trabaccolara, Antipasto di salmone, Frittera calamari e zucchini, as well as a ravioli with seafood (forgot the name). I didn't have dessert but others in our party enjoyed the lemon sorbet and pistachio filled chocolate souffle.
