05/11/2025: This is a must-visit in the area. The food is FANTASIC and the owner is one of a kind. It was our son's birthday and she really made sure he had an extra special evening! This was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Outstanding!

11/10/2025: Historic restaurant, featured in the Michelin Guide several times. The open kitchen and well-stocked fish counter. The raw fish are nothing special, but I'm originally from Bari and am used to much higher standards. Various types of shrimp, the usual tartare. The raw cuttlefish needs a complete overhaul, and the red mullet fillet is tasteless... Very fresh oysters... The Trabaccolara (house specialty) is excellent. Delicious desserts. Impeccable service.

04/11/2025: It was exactly what we were looking for. We decided to choose Testina for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant was beautiful and intimate, and we were completely pampered by the woman who always spoke to us with a smile and answered all our questions. Let's not even talk about the food, because the chef in the kitchen created a true marvel (see the photos), not only aesthetically pleasing but also out of this world. We often made sure to mop up the bread. He also left the kitchen with a smile and welcomed us as if we were at home. Don't worry about the portions, because after a seven-course menu, we left feeling full and completely satisfied. The white wine produced in the Etna area was out of this world, nothing to complain about, perfectly balanced with the dishes and our taste buds. Thank you, we'll definitely be back. (Since we have limited tables, I recommend booking.)

24/10/2025: Testina is a true culinary and sensory experience, exactly what I was looking for. Ivan, the chef and owner, is an artist. When I go out to dine, I want to be surprised; I want to live and enjoy a new experience. That is exactly what Testina offers. A two-Michelin-star-like experience. I came here with my girlfriend, and she was so impressed. Ivan customized the experience on our dietary intolerance and needs, which I appreciated a lot. Totally worth the price. Could not recommend this place enough. Good luck to the whole Testina team and keep rocking it!

29/10/2025: I was extremely satisfied with my dinner at AkaTaiyo! It was a real discovery, a place that combines excellent flavors and a pleasant atmosphere. The sushi was simply excellent: incredibly fresh fish, meticulously prepared, and perfectly cooked rice. Every bite was a pleasure for the palate, a joy for lovers of Japanese cuisine. But the real surprise was the risotto, absolutely fantastic! Impeccably prepared, it demonstrates the versatility and high quality of their cuisine. A creamy, flavorful, and expertly cooked dish. Strengths: Quality ingredients, excellence in both the sushi and Italian/fusion dishes (like the risotto), and courteous service. I highly recommend AkaTaiyo to anyone looking for a restaurant that offers top-notch dishes and a memorable dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

29/10/2025: I went to Aka Taiyoo in Arezzo and had a truly wonderful meal! I ordered the tiger roll, the shrimp rice (delicious!), and the spicy salmon. All the dishes were carefully prepared, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. It's a shame I didn't take photos, because they were absolutely beautiful to look at! Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

23/11/2025: Very vintage, but within its characteristic niche, there's nothing to complain about. It's primarily a caciuccheria, and it's the kind of excellence it needs.

23/11/2025: A truly welcoming restaurant, the cacciucco is excellent, the real cacciucco. We didn't wait long, so the service was impeccable and friendly. A very fun evening with family and friends. Make a reservation!!! I highly recommend it.

02/11/2025: Typical restaurant serving Livorno cuisine. Nothing to criticize about the food, which is truly good. However, one thing to note is the table set like a pizzeria, with paper placemats and napkins. The restaurant prices are above average, and the downside is that there is no POS.

03/11/2025: A truly pleasant surprise, generous dishes served by excellent waiters. The dishes were plentiful and well-served, and the wine was excellent and reasonably priced. I recommend it and will be back soon.

07/09/2025: We had dinner at La Mandragola and it was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, matched only by the exceptional service. The setting in the courtyard is warm and comfortable, making the whole experience feel special. A memorable spot in San Gimignano that I’d happily return to.

12/11/2025: What can I say, a truly positive surprise!! We were lucky, as other restaurants we'd already tried had a rest day. It was delicious, truly!! I think I found all the tradition of Livorno cuisine in this trattoria, accompanied by the kindness and friendliness of the staff. It's not to be missed. P.S. I notice the passion for football on one of the walls and I deduce that there's a conflict among the fans. Livorno, not surprisingly, is home to the Armando Picchi stadium, dedicated to the legendary player. However, the same city is also the birthplace of Bergamo, a very controversial club.

26/10/2025: Recommended to me by a neighbor at another restaurant, it is confirmed to be the best caciucco I've had in Livorno. The surprise is the garlic-scraped croutons not next to the plate but underneath all the delicious fish and sauce. The cod is also excellent. The owner is friendly, the service good, and the price is overall reasonable.

27/09/2025: An incredible taste experience. Everything was spot on. We ordered: Cod meatballs, Spaghetti alle vongole, and grilled octopus on a salad of bread, pickled vegetables, and olive oil. The tiramisu is a top 3 in Italy. Absolutely amazing. We'll definitely be back, it's worth it. Definitely the #1 choice in Marina di Grosseto.
