03/05/2026: I hadn't been back for years, it's changed management. I hadn't been back because they'd expanded too much and it felt more like a festival than a restaurant.
We made the mistake of going on a Saturday night, and despite having a reservation, there was a frustrating line for a table and a strange "table-hopping" system where a table for three became available and they were looking for a group of three in the line. Sorry, but did I book or not?
It's nonsense, something I've never seen anywhere else.
Otherwise, once we managed to get a table, the service was courteous and fast, the food was good, and the price was okay.
I'd go back, but not on a Saturday night.

02/12/2025: We went to the Testina restaurant and had a truly wonderful meal. Ivan, the owner, immediately makes you feel at ease thanks to his friendliness and the passion he puts into his work. The quality of the fish is excellent, and the meticulous selection of ingredients is evident.
The dishes are highly refined, both in their preparation and flavor, meticulously crafted and truly surprising.
Impeccable service, a pleasant atmosphere, and high-quality cuisine: a restaurant we'll definitely return to. Highly recommended!
We'll definitely be back.
24/11/2025: Everything at Testina exudes a love of produce and a passion for gastronomy. The dishes are a balance of colors, aromas, and flavors, bold yet perfectly harmonious. The service is attentive yet welcoming, and the restaurant is intimate and meticulously maintained. An experience definitely worth repeating.

26/07/2025: I chose this place based on photos of the dishes and reviews, and I can confirm my positive impression. The staff were extremely friendly, the service was fast and attentive, the dishes were truly delicious, original, and the ingredients were top-notch. I was very satisfied. The squid ink ravioli del plin filled with fish, with a delicate sauce and crispy cuttlefish, and the sea asparagus and saffron tempura were truly delicious. Also not to be missed was the crispy octopus tentacle on basil mashed potatoes and beetroot chips. The desserts, which were homemade, were also quite good.

10/05/2026: We had a lovely meal at this restaurant in Lucca. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with every dish feeling fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
It was also very child friendly, which made the experience even better for us. They were happy to prepare something simple for my nephews that suited them perfectly, which we really appreciated.
The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. A great spot if you’re looking for great food!
02/05/2026: Top-class restaurant in the center of Lucca. Despite the hustle and bustle of the city, you find yourself in an oasis of calm here. The terrace feels like a cozy living room with greenery and warm lighting. The service is exceptional – truly waited on hand and foot. The dishes are amazing, with surprising combinations of familiar ingredients. An experience we won't soon forget!

18/05/2026: This restaurant was so amazingly perfect! Came here for my cousin’s wedding welcome dinner and the service was great! There were over 40 of us in our party and the owner, Enzo, took such great care of us all! He was so attentive and patient and made sure we had everything we needed! The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing! Anyone visiting Florence, I would 1000000000% recommend this cute place. Every single person in our party was so happy with the entire experience, from the food to the drinks to even the atmosphere itself. LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE!!!!!
