04/05/2026: They didn't give us a room at the hotel. They took us to a house across the street. The room was very basic, and the bathroom was old and outdated. The shower was tiny and difficult to use, and the toilet cistern was broken; we had to hit it to get it to work. It was very expensive for the awful room they gave us. I don't recommend it. 20/03/2026: A lovely hotel in San Gimignano, with the owner's courtesy and helpfulness. The only downside was that we had to pay for two coffees in the morning, even though breakfast was included. Sometimes you need a good nose.

13/06/2026: We are a couple on holiday who, after some investigation, decided to have a good meat dinner last night. I must say it was truly excellent. My regret was the service, which was very slow due to the fact that they gave priority to local customers. Two tables who arrived after us were served first... we pretended nothing had happened but we were very annoyed... we won't be back because what they did was unfair.

11/06/2026: We ate a 1.5kg Florentine steak, €50 per kg, excellent, the dessert was also excellent, very small flaw, also a bit my fault, I only saw once we left that the bill was not accurate but since it was only one coffee, not taken, but paid for, I didn't go back, for the rest nothing to say, I recommend it..... better to book.

29/04/2026: We had three kinds of seafood as a starter—it was amazing. For the main course, we had excellent lobster with pasta and mussels with pasta. The service was fast and pleasant, which unfortunately can’t be said about other restaurants here. 99% of the guests in the restaurant were locals.

07/03/2026: Good evening, negative personal experience. I must say first that I am Neapolitan, therefore accustomed to eating typical Campania products. The worst fried filling I have ever eaten was the unleavened dough, cooked incorrectly, the oil not at the right temperature, the filling was unbalanced, almost non-existent. The Margherita was the same, unleavened dough and the taste did not reflect the true Campania traditions, almost at the level of a frozen Cameo pizza. The cuoppo, for the excessive cost of 6 euros, had four seafood fritters and a mozzarella in carrozza. Disappointment, I had high expectations, I strongly advise against it!

07/03/2026: Excellent place for a business lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, excellent wine selection, and a lovely menu. The fish is exceptional. Well done.

14/09/2025: Excellent seafood and land in the heart of Cecina! A relaxing atmosphere and impeccable service. The selection of raw fish... incredibly fresh, prepared with care. The attention to the ingredients is undeniably evident! Another highlight of the evening was the porcini mushroom risotto with pink shrimp and almonds, perfectly creamed and fragrant. A nice selection of wines. I found the price to be fair given the quality of the ingredients. If you enjoy good food and good food, this restaurant is the place to come.

01/06/2026: Nice location. The timing was… biblical (at 7:45 PM). But so far, it's fine; the place was nice. Pizza…. Like Speedy Pizza. Roast beef…. Maybe from two days ago. Too bad. You can't fool people just because you're in a nice place. Also, the price wasn't all that consistent.

09/06/2026: Very good pizza and pasta. Pizza is excellent stone oven and well made. Also authentic sardic dishes and strong pasta di mare (different kind) Super fair prices for wine. And tasty wine. Some of the waitress could be seen as a little bit grumpy, we adress this to us being reall bad in italian. But the chefe she is really friendl and fast. Thanks for a really nice stay.

01/06/2026: A decidedly negative experience. We came for dinner with a one-year-old baby and my pregnant partner. From the beginning, we politely asked for a few simple things: to have the baby's plate and my partner's first course delivered as soon as possible, since she was hungry. Most importantly, we clearly specified that she couldn't eat mussels. Despite this, the seafood spaghetti arrived with mussels on the plate. When we raised the issue, the response we received was: "You could have put them aside." I consider this an unacceptable response. If a customer communicates a specific dietary requirement, it should be respected. The customer shouldn't be the one to correct a kitchen error. To avoid arguments, we let it slide and ordered another first course, which, fortunately, turned out better. The seafood spaghetti, however, was extremely dry and unpleasant. The problems didn't end there: * Mussel appetizer requested, never arrived. * A quart of wine requested, never arrived. * Additional water requested, but it never arrived. * Coffee, which we had to get directly at the counter. In the end, we paid around €60 for disorganized and forgetful service. The overall feeling was one of a total lack of customer service. When a family decides to eat out, they're not just paying for the food, but also for the service, organization, and overall experience. Unfortunately, all of these aspects were missing here. I strongly advise management to review their work practices and pay more attention to customer requests. Personally, I won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

16/06/2026: We’ve been visiting Olinta once or twice a season for the past four years, and it never disappoints. The restaurant offers an upscale selection of food at reasonable prices, complemented by an excellent wine list. The beautiful sea view and terrace overlooking the water make the experience even more special. If you’re in the area and enjoy seafood as much as we do, Olinta is definitely worth a visit.

14/06/2026: Beautiful location and excellent dinner. We had a raw scampi, two tuna steaks (which is their strong point), and various vegetables, including those with dips. For the quality/price ratio of what we ate, I think it's worth it.

26/04/2026: I dined here as a group in April 2026: the staff was unfriendly, the menu was pre-established but lacked any particularly tasty dishes, and I appreciated it. The service took very long even though the place wasn't particularly crowded.

10/06/2026: Our hotel recommended this cafe to us, and we were very pleased! The appetizers were excellent, and everyone loved the pasta. The waiter readily recommended a good wine when we told him our budget. It was a bit noisy because there was some kind of celebration with live music at the cafe next door, but that didn't spoil our evening.

My rating is top-notch for every aspect, from the welcome, to the service, to the food, to the atmosphere, and the selection of ceramics and glasses—all original, one-of-a-kind pieces that really caught my attention. Regarding the food, I must go into more detail to describe the quality of the ingredients and the mastery of Chef Beppe, who, with his passion, achieves excellent results. I think the only photographs I managed to take demonstrate how appetizing and beautiful the dishes are. I can say that the cooking was perfect, and I found all the goodness in the perfect balance between the delicate yet intense flavors of the raw fish, as well as the perfect textures and creaminess of the sauces. The selection of various types of bread made by Chef Christian with different quality flours, sourdough starter, and slow leavening demonstrates attention to all the elements of an excellent and healthy meal. All this was accompanied by the excellent and vast selection of various bottles of wine that enriched the choice. As a glutton, I couldn't help but end the meal with an excellent meringue pie, perfectly balanced in flavor. It's easy to say meringue, but how difficult is it to find a balanced, not-too-sweet dessert that allows you to distinctly and pleasantly savor all the flavors and textures? The Chantilly cream filling and chocolate flakes with fresh red fruits left a lasting impression. Thanks to pastry chef Alessia. Thanks to the entire staff and thanks to the waiters who ensured impeccable service. I will be happy to be your loyal customer every time I return to Tirrenia.
