28/04/2025: Dopo il GTE io e la mia amica abbiamo fatto sosta a Portoferraio e qui Da Gianni abbiamo concluso in bellezza con un'ottima cena!! Cozze strepitose e orecchiette fantastiche. Pesce di qualità e servizio impeccabile! Grazie ad Andrea per l'accuratezza e la simpatia! A presto.

24/04/2025: Op basis van de commentaren gekomen niet teleurgesteld . Het meisje van de bediening werkte haar eerste dag maar deed het heel goed en was supervriendelijk . Eerst antipasto czldo di mare en cozze alla marinara , daarna orecchietti alla pescatora en spaghetti alle vongole , daarna een gedeelde suggestie ( vongole , cozze , vis in een heerlijke saus ) . Afgesloten met een amaro van het eiland . Een echte aanrader en absoluut waar voor een zeer democratische prijs . Een aanrader !

27/05/2025: Vi al asesor de viaje firmar en la puerta e hicimos reservas para las 7 : 30 cuando se abrió. Cuando llegamos (5 adultos) a las 7: 30 , ya había 15 personas sentadas y cenando -frustrante como hubiéramos venido antes-. Nos recibieron cálidamente y nos sentamos inmediatamente. El servidor nos trajo menús y nos preguntó si queríamos agua. Decidimos compartir los calamares ligeramente fritos y los camarones servidos con rodajas de limón. El marisco era muy fresco y sabroso, pero un poco salado. tagliatelle con salsa de jabalí era bueno, pero demasiada pasta, y no suficiente salsa. spaghetti con almejas - bastante bueno, pero de nuevo muy salado. 4 raviolis grandes con salsa de queso estaba bien, pero de nuevo, muy salado. La proporción de pasta a calabaza era mala y la calabaza abrumada. Comí 1/2 ravioli y lo devolví y me dieron pizza de burrata que era bastante bueno. La masa estaba mojada en el centro y la salsa bastante ácida - Al menos no salada jajaja. no nos dieron pan. Nadie lo era. El plato de mariscos a la parrilla estaba muy asado y muy seco. No sabroso en absoluto. Sólo podíamos probar el carbón. Tiramisu estaba bien. Nos acusaron por los ravioles. Oh, bueno. NO recomendaría basado en alimentos. El servicio le dio una estrella extra. ¡Muy decepcionado!

07/06/2025: Great food. No cardboard boxes but real plates. Friendly staff. This is a restaurant where Italian families also come. They do their best. The food is freshly prepared. They tap a nice glass of Menebrea. Prices and quality are good. We will definitely come back here

28/05/2025: Perfect stay! I felt at home from the first moment. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The restaurant is also excellent. But the strong point is the staff: always kind, helpful and smiling. I highly recommend!

15/05/2025: On a recent tour of Italy April 2025, we found this hotel by luck, we ventured away from the coast as prices were ridiculous, we booked in for two nights and ending up staying 3 just because of this hotel, the scenery around here is amazing, plenty of sights to see, the caves, the monastery set into the hillside, and the hilltop town of Trassilico…there was much more to see locally and lots of walking if that’s you’re thing. While staying here we also visited Pisa and the walled city of Lucca….I’d definitely Recommend spending a day at both of these places. We were surprised the hotel is rated as 3 star, at a minimum I’d rate it 4 star based on previous experiences, every part of it is done to the highest standard, we had a huge wrap around balcony with our superior room, sadly we didn’t use it to its potential, the beds were soft the room was quiet, and spotlessly clean. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. If ever visiting Northern Italy I’d highly recommend staying here, the host/owner Marco was most helpful with all aspects of our stay as we’re all the staff, it was almost sad to leave but Rome beckoned, then onto the Amalfi coast.

28/05/2025: Excellent choice for a stopover in Tuscany. Its rooms overlook the fields and vineyards. Friendly staff and a central location near the center of San Gimignano.

02/06/2025: Yesterday we had a reservation at 10pm, we waited twenty minutes outside (even though there were free tables inside but not cleared) together with other people and in the company of a child who was throwing shots at the wall or at us, without giving us the slightest importance. After sitting down, we waited another 15 minutes to order. The place was completely upside down, plus the only waiter there (the other person in the room, I assume was the owner) served the tables, cleaned the tables with the product, cleared dirty glasses, all with the same pair of gloves also used to fill the pizzas, a bit unhygienic and ugly to look at. Good pizza but yesterday's context absolutely does not make you want to go back.

01/06/2025: The staff was friendly and it seemed like a restaurant frequented by many local Italians. When I went, I was seated right away without waiting, but after about 5 minutes, there was a wait for the seats to be filled. The pizza dough was really chewy and delicious. Everyone said one pizza per person, but I could only eat half and took the rest home to eat for breakfast the next day. The pizza was delicious even when it was cold... I don't think I'll ever forget it.

15/06/2025: A Christmas movie experience – to be avoided The service was embarrassing to say the least. The dishes arrived 30 minutes apart, and it took 3 or 4 prompts to get the drinks, appetizers, cutlery and plates. The food? Nothing special, nothing to justify the wait or the embarrassment caused by the interaction with the waiters. But the best part was the birthday cake: brought with the candles blown out and then returned whole for cutting, along with the cutlery. Faced with the perplexed looks of the guests, the waiter – visibly annoyed and as if he had just happened to be there – launched into a scene from a surreal comedy: “What do you want me to cut it for you, sir?! It’s not that I’m afraid of ruining it… I’m not good.” Between embarrassed giggles, he added: “Well, if I have to cut it for you, I’ll cut it for you.” The whole dinner was surrounded by similar interactions. Simply tragicomic. If you are looking for a pleasant and professional experience, this is not the right place. If instead you want to live two hours like a cinepanettone… go ahead.

26/01/2025: I have been to this lovely restaurant several times and have had the opportunity to try several dishes. Excellent pizza and delicious meat. Very welcoming place and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

19/06/2025: Encontramos este lugar encantador, frente al puerto, mientras tenía unos días en Porto Ercole como parte de un recorrido más largo de la Toscana. Desde nuestra llegada sabíamos que iba a ser una buena experiencia; El personal fue atento y se tomó el tiempo para llevarnos a través del menú y hacer algunas recomendaciones y el entorno era encantador, casual pero con un toque de elegancia y formalidad que simplemente dio un ambiente encantador. La comida, se adaptaba a los alrededores y el ambiente y era excelente, los sabores sutiles acompañaban a algunos maravillosos platos de mariscos y se combinaban con un excelente vino blanco toscano y a un precio razonable. Si alguna vez te encuentras en esta encantadora ciudad portuaria, echa un vistazo a este lugar, es uno de los mejores mariscos que hemos tenido y el servicio es fantástico.

08/05/2025: Very good pizzas! I took Quattro Stagione, ham and other fills were excellent. My wife took Frutti di Mare, she said it was best she has ever eaten so far! The service was pleasant and the atmosphere cozy and relaxed during Saturday evening.

18/05/2025: I have been working in the restaurant business for almost ten years now and among the various fish restaurants in the area that I have tried this is one of the best. Excellent fish quality, fantastic list of Vermentino wines, tables facing the sea, extremely quiet location.

10/05/2025: Quality raw materials and an intimate and convivial restaurant. Osteria Orlano is truly a gem in SantoStefano. Intimate, welcoming and with fresh, quality fish. The frying is not greasy in the slightest but remains very crispy and very light (for what frying can be of course). We had an appetizer (the delicious roasted octopus served with purple potatoes) and a fried dish, spending €40 each. For posterity the arduous sentence, for me... everything exquisite. My body has filled up with omega 3, my palate with dishes satisfying for the eye and the stomach. Highly recommended!

07/03/2025: PORCA MISERIA OTTIMA SORPRESA!!! Cena io e mia moglie, tutto ottimo compresa accoglienza e cortesia , conto più che buono. Il locale è un po’ piccolo quindi prenotare assolutamente. Se non fossimo di passaggio ci tornerei spesso
