08/08/2024: The first time at the Tennis tavern and despite this we felt at home. Massimo, the innkeeper, welcomed us and accompanied us throughout the evening with his friendliness and frankness. The food here is very good. But this is subjective. You will find dishes with combinations of unlikely ingredients such as spaghetti with castelmagno and mussels or smoked mackerel fillets and ricotta. Absolutely worth trying...we are sure we will be back.
30/07/2024: The waiter was very nice and the service was good. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the dinner, especially since the food wasn't good and the prices were way too high. We chose this Osteria based on previous Google reviews, unfortunately the food looked completely different in old pictures. Unfortunately the worst meal here on Elba.

The spaghetti swims in w40 oil. The prices are very high for the quality of the food served. In short, not to return

05/08/2024: Ottima cena di pesce: tutti i piatti che abbiamo preso erano molto buoni, unica pecca forse il servizio non top.
Prezzi leggermente alti (primi piatti dai 18 euro in su), ma abbondanti e ben fatti con pesce fresco.
26/07/2024: Caciucco spettacolare il costo è giustificato, ci hanno consigliato un ottimo vino rosé acqua caffè
Costo 40 euro circa SPESI BENISSIMO
Lo consiglio vivamente.

25/08/2024: I confirm the excellent reviews of this place, a nice environment, friendly and super helpful staff, not to mention the food which is delicious, the fish feels fresh.
We tried the pici cacio e pepe and the paccheri, both with the right portions and super good
Prices a little high but fair for the quality of the food

26/07/2024: Takeaway for 6 adults and 2 children....seafood lasagne, vegetable flans, mixed fried foods, marinated anchovies, octopus and potatoes in abundance and goodness...spent 100 euros, practically nothing!! We will be back on Saturday because of the value phenomenal price quality to say the least. well done

I forgot very honest prices
13/08/2024: In summer you want a restaurant with a large terrace, with a sea view, perhaps in a marina. Then the fish must be fresh and, if cooked, well cooked.
The 5 stars also reflect the value for money.

10/08/2024: I'm sorry but I had a terrible time, terrible poor quality food. Normal aperitif, nothing can be said about that. I'm sorry about the pizzas but booked (takeaway) for 7.45pm arrived at 8.04pm there were 4 pizzas instead of 5, we're waiting for the last pizza which arrives after another 20 minutes, let's go to eat the pizzas they were wrong 3 out of 5 we called to complain but they told us it was our business and they hung up.
I'm sorry because the waitress was very professional but the principals unfortunately were not.

24/08/2024: Very nice place where they mainly make pasta and some desserts. They put us outside where it was very comfortable, even if at a certain point we got sunbathed. The service was quite fast and the dishes really good (with slightly too much oil on the spaghetti with burrata cream).

12/08/2024: A welcoming atmosphere, a relaxing environment, attention to the quality of the products and above all refinement of the specialty
our territory. We spent a lovely evening with our daughter who really appreciated the spaghetti with clams and bottarga. I personally found the scampi risotto with Cerreto blueberry sauce reduction very tasty. Well done everyone, very good Roberto!

Let's start from the fact that to get to the restaurant we got lost 3 times among the tiny streets that are around there, and then you don't notice the difference from the other structures because it is simply a house with the addition of a veranda for eating.
The waiter, unfortunately alone, does the best he can with speed, kindness and preparation.
The menu is perfect in terms of dishes and length, but the dishes on the table are not the best. Dishes that are also refined but do not satisfy the palate very much.
All in all a normal restaurant... without praise or infamy. The prices compared to the quality and the location are a little high, luckily there are the fork discounts that bring everything back to the right price.

16/08/2024: Little and not special food, fish tordelli seasoned with butter or cream, fish doesn't mix with these ingredients, good waiter. Very expensive, they put us outside where there was no air conditioning, it was terribly hot. I won't go back again.

08/08/2024: After ordering takeaway, we go to pick up and find a long queue (which bodes well), so you decide to enter through the exit as we had ordered and fortunately it was the right thing to do (even if it wasn't signposted). After asking the few waiters who were there even though all the tables were packed, you decide to venture towards the cash register even though there was always a queue and the looks were not appreciative 😂.
After asking two other people, fortunately we found a closed bag in a corner which was our order (with a different number than the receipt but oh well, the food listed was correct).
We go to eat overlooking the sea but when we open the bags we realize that there were no napkins or cutlery, even though it was a takeaway...
After buying them we finally eat:
-The ridiculous salads, absurd quantity of vegetables and little fish (tasteless);
-sashimi was basically a salad without dressing, and I was hoping at least to find a tasty salmon but unfortunately here too it was bad...
-Sandwich and fried squid: the 3 stars are only for these two dishes.
07/08/2024: The 'ice prawns' sandwich was TOO good. Personally, I never get tired of it. Otherwise, I would only give the others a simple tasting bite, with the exception of the gourmet sandwiches of the day offered at the moment and therefore different from those on the menu. They are often very inviting!
Raw dish perhaps too expensive compared to the quantity contained in the dish.
Very nice location, but too much confusion.
