11/10/2025: Nice place, good food, excellent service but €47 per person for 2 and I underline 2 stuffed mussels (excellent) 1 plate of spaghetti with seafood (good), 1 bottle of Prosecco for 5 and 4 Branca mint seems a bit excessive.

03/09/2025: We were there a few days ago. The location is stunning, both for the garden and the hotel-side entrance. The friendly service is perfect for those who appreciate attentive service. They even seat you with the person who sets your chair. If your glass is empty, the waiter will come promptly. The pizza is good, but not the best I've had. The dough is easy to digest, and the ingredients deserve a 4 out of 5, so it gets a thumbs up. The desserts also get a thumbs up. The price is obviously higher than average, but it's justified by one of Florence's most prestigious locations.

16/10/2025: We had a group of ten. Table was set so we were quite spaced out but it was quiet. Food prepared nicely but not great for the price! Slow service. There were lots of great extras like a starter lemon vodka drink, bread, fabulous bread sticks, crackers with oil. And yummy candies at the end! Quite pricey!

16/10/2025: This was a fantastic spot to celebrate our anniversary while visiting Florence. The sophisticated atmosphere and impeccable service made this a very special meal. Bedsides our delicious multi-course meal, we were greeted with a lemon/vodka/prosecco apertivo, a tasting platter, and an elegant presentation of four types of bread. Between our dishes, we were served a very light palate refresher with green chartreuse. Cestello has an extensive wine list; another table ordered the wine flight and it was lovely admiring the presentation! Both the charred sea bass and chef-special branzino were phenomenally tasty. My husband ordered gnocchi, and amberjack from the Crudite menu. Each dish delivered layers of flavors, a real distinction in a city filled with good food. The service included at least four different servers attending to our fresh flatware. Each course seamlessly blended with the best. It was a feast for the senses. For dessert, we chose the chocolate dome with banana-rum sorbet, and espresso. Finally, when my stomach felt ready to burst, our server brought out a tiered sampler with six bite-sized dolci for us to taste. The whole evening was exquisite!

06/11/2025: The place is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was extremely negative, ruining what was supposed to be a relaxing day. 1) I had received a €60 daily spa package as a gift, but upon arrival I was asked to pay an additional €38 simply because the package didn't include a massage. Total: €98 for a service that, all things considered, fell far short of expectations. 2) The changing rooms are tiny: just one bathroom, two showers, and very little space. 3) During the spa session, we applied a simple face mask. Shortly afterward, an employee (named Barbara, with short, dark hair) approached from the door, repeatedly asking, in a less than polite tone, "What did you put on your face?" Not hearing well, she gestured for us to come closer as if we were children, then scolded us for not rinsing our faces in the hot tub. We may have made a small mistake, but being filmed publicly and in that way was embarrassing and decidedly inappropriate. One of my friends tried to politely talk to her to clarify, but Barbara kept talking over her, not letting her explain. It should be noted that two of us immediately rinsed our faces, and the other would never have done so anyway. Shortly afterward, the same employee Barbara returned to the hot tub, but as she left, she loudly exclaimed, "Rinse all three of us!" Frankly unacceptable behavior, especially in a center that promotes itself as a place of relaxation. 4) The relaxation area was anything but relaxing: the staff's voices could be clearly heard from the waiting room and disturbed the quiet. It was constant confusion. 5) The massage, which was supposed to last 30 minutes, started late because the room needed to be prepared, but it still ended early: barely 15 minutes, legs and back treated quickly, arms barely touched. When we asked, we were dismissively told that "they had to clean up for the next person." 6) Lunch was also disappointing: the waitress was visibly tired and unfriendly, and the portions were tiny (the chicken with potatoes was almost symbolic). 7) Finally, we expressed our dissatisfaction to the front desk, who confirmed they were already aware of what had happened. Even more disconcerting: everyone talked about it; if everyone knew, no one saw fit to intervene or apologize. A truly unpleasant experience, handled with little professionalism and zero customer care. Such a lovely place deserves staff of the same caliber. Unfortunately, we won't be returning and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

13/10/2025: The location is very beautiful, but the rooms are dated and need renovation. The restaurant is very good. As for the spa, everything needs renovation here too, but the staff is very good, a lot of work needs to be done.

20/08/2025: We arrived at 1:30 PM with a reservation specifically for outside dining, but they wanted to seat us inside without air conditioning (I should point out it's August), saying they couldn't accommodate everyone! As soon as we sat down, they told us there was a bit of a wait because all the tables had arrived at once... as if lunch wasn't taking place at that time! The appetizers arrived at 2:50 PM, and not all at once, so some were eating while others were watching. We asked for wine, and the waitress put it on the table and left it there without opening it, only to open it again 15 minutes later. The first courses arrived at 3:30 PM, obviously not all at once. I had asked for a fusilli with guanciale, datterino tomatoes, and tarallo, and it arrived with speck. The reply was that they had run out of guanciale and the chef had added speck to the recipe on his own initiative without telling us. Another diner received an unpleasant addition of cuttlefish sac and shrimp intestines in his squid ink gnocchi. We asked for a bottle of water, and after 30 minutes the waitress arrived and asked if we preferred it still or sparkling. The very young waitress, perhaps newly hired, had no idea how this job was done. We left the table at 4:10 PM, paying more than €40 per person, with a substantial discount of €2.90 for six people. A Neapolitan trattoria that's Neapolitan only in name, but nothing like true Neapolitan cuisine! Absolutely to be avoided.

19/08/2025: Beautiful restaurant, excellent pizza and food! The location and atmosphere would be super nice, but unfortunately we ended up at a different table than the one we agreed on the phone. Long wait for food... Excellent food, but you should increase the staff in August!

03/10/2025: A wonderful evening to celebrate an anniversary. A welcoming and refined venue, a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly, attentive yet unobtrusive staff. Excellent food with surprising options.

29/08/2025: Decent cocktails at an okay price. Drinks tasted quite nice. Came with some complementary snacks which was a good surprise.

15/08/2025: A truly welcoming bar, with comprehensive and attentive service. Takeaway is also available, as well as dining in. All the staff are friendly and open to conversation. A pleasant place to stop!

14/09/2025: Excellent seafood and land in the heart of Cecina! A relaxing atmosphere and impeccable service. The selection of raw fish... incredibly fresh, prepared with care. The attention to the ingredients is undeniably evident! Another highlight of the evening was the porcini mushroom risotto with pink shrimp and almonds, perfectly creamed and fragrant. A nice selection of wines. I found the price to be fair given the quality of the ingredients. If you enjoy good food and good food, this restaurant is the place to come.

11/09/2025: Tried it for lunch as a quick stop in Cecina. The place isn't huge, but it's nice. Fast service. I tried the first courses, which were good and had decent portions.

07/09/2025: We found it by chance on our way back from a weekend in Orvieto. We ordered the mixed crostini, tagliatelle with rabbit ragù and crème brulee. The food was homemade and delicious, and I'd return. The service was neither excellent nor infamous.

06/09/2025: It's a great idea to get off the highway and eat here instead of at a rest stop. It's a small place, but perfect for a quick stop and some typical dishes without breaking the bank.

12/08/2025: Scoperto quasi per caso. Cercavo un posto a Pistoia dove mangiare il pesce e ho visto questa location. Fissato per il compleanno di mia moglie l’11 Agosto e quindi cenato da loro. È stata un’esperienza fantastica… Location bellissima, personale professionale ma soprattutto gentilissimo. Ci hanno fatto sentire come se fossimo a cena a casa nostra. Se gli chiedevi info su una portata, subito gentilissimi e sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra ti davano spiegazione sulla portata da scegliere. Io personalmente affibbiò ben 10 STELLE all’equipe del ROSSO VENEZIANO. Che dire delle portate? Da 10 ma non basterebbero le stelle in cielo per la bontà … Dai, se non ci siete mai stati dovete provarlo in tutti i modi. Il prezzo vale per tutto, ma sono sicuro che mi ringrazierete per il consiglio. Credetemi, ma ho intenzione di ritornarci… A presto ❤️

07/08/2025: Finalmente dopo vari tentativi, il locale è sempre pieno ,sono riuscito a cenare in questo ristorante . Devo dire che ho mangiato benissimo , ottimo antipasto di crudo e un primo veramente squisito , e un dolce di elevata raffinatezza. Personale gentilissimo . Il conto , parere personale, lo trovo allineato alla qualità di quello che ho mangiato
