05/08/2024: Al Corso è un gioiello nascosto ai margini della splendida Lucca, in Italia. All'arrivo siamo stati accolti calorosamente con un bicchiere di prosecco della casa, un inizio meraviglioso per la nostra esperienza culinaria. Il pane fatto in casa era deliziosamente fresco e il complemento perfetto al menù. Come antipasto abbiamo gustato una sublime tartare, che offriva un perfetto equilibrio di sapori. Il punto culminante della serata è stato tuttavia la melanzane alla parmigiana. Questo piatto era semplicemente il migliore che abbiamo mai assaggiato. Lo stufato di coniglio è stato un altro grande successo. La carne era tenera e ricca di sapore, una vera delizia per il palato. Il padrone di casa di Al Corso era particolarmente gentile e ha fatto in modo che ci sentissimo subito a casa. Ci ha offerto un delizioso vino che si abbinava perfettamente ai nostri piatti. Al Corso è un ristorante molto accogliente dove l'amore per il cibo e l'ospitalità sono chiaramente centrali. È inoltre consigliato per chi va al ristorante con bambini piccoli. Il personale cordiale e paziente ha assicurato che sia noi che i nostri bambini avessimo una serata fantastica. Torneremo sicuramente e possiamo consigliare vivamente questo affascinante ristorante a chiunque visiti Lucca.

26/07/2024: Wat een verborgen pareltje! Iets buiten het drukke, toeristische gebied zit dit prachtige restaurantje. We werden welkom geheten met een amuse en prosecco van het huis. De kaart was overzichtelijk, maar voor ieder wat wils. En alles was even heerlijk. De ober was echt super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Top!

16/06/2024: Il locale piccolino, con mura sporche. Anche sul tavolo c’era della sporcizia... Cibo non all’altezza. Menu non allineato a quanto e’ on line, cosi come i prezzi. Servizio apatico. Purtroppo esperienza non da ripetere.

16/06/2024: Cibo con qualità scadente. Tempi di attesa estremamente lunghi, siamo arrivati alle ore 13 e abbiamo mangiato alle 15. Titolare maleducato, ci ha risposto più di una volta male dopo avergli chiesto a che punto fossero i piatti ordinati. Dopo ben 2 ore di attesa sono arrivati degli spaghetti crudi e con dei lupini, al posto delle "vongole veraci" così come indicato sul menù, chiaramente immangiabili e rimandati indietro. Per concludere c'è stato un errore di ben 10 euro nel conto, avevamo preso un calice di vino, che peraltro ci è stato portato in una bottiglia già aperta e avviata, e alla fine ci è stata fatta pagare una bottiglia intera. Porzione misera e senza condimento quella dell'antipasto.

25/08/2024: Water and beer at room temperature. Total absence of red wine which, in any case, would have only been served by the glass (5 euros for two fingers of wine). It is not justifiable not to have red wine (there are also land dishes on the menu). In the bathroom there is no soap and toilet paper. Positive aspects: beautiful location and freshly cooked fresh food. If they had removed the hot beer from the bill they would have made a better impression. Sin. A little more attention would be enough for the customer (not always an idiot) and justice would have been done to a very beautiful place.

24/08/2024: Great restaurant with good cuisine. The service staff were great and let us enjoy this place. Wonderful location right by the sea, simply pure holiday feeling. Very child friendly.

06/08/2024: They warned me that the quality had dropped lately, but I wanted to get an idea for myself: I don't know what it was like before, but now it's really poor. 4 dishes across the menu, an anchovy starter that any rotisserie has better, a small, questionable and expensive slice of amberjack, a frozen wild boar stew that doesn't taste like wild boar in the slightest and certainly not cheap either . Friendly waiters, but that's not enough: avoid it!

05/08/2024: 3rd time I eat here in 3 years, it is still the best place I have ever eaten in Elba. A personal 10/10, except I haven't tried the desserts, as I don't eat sugar.

26/08/2024: Fast service and good food. The only serious flaw was the two waiters who insulted and mocked one of their colleagues in front of the customers throughout the service. Really a bad experience. Furthermore, the waiter in question is a very sweet person who never spares a smile for customers, despite being driven to exasperation.

15/08/2024: Super nice restaurant with fair prices. Family business with very honest and delicious cuisine. The four of us ate 2 pizzas and were very happy.

29/08/2024: Nice place in Capoliveri, it has pleasant interiors, while it has outdoor tables on a street that is not very busy. I had dinner choosing a first course of fresh cuttlefish ink pasta with good sea bream and courgette flowers. I tasted my husband's spaghetti with lobster but it tasted too much like tomato and two small pieces of lobster where there wasn't much to eat are few. The second course left me perplexed because I ordered a fried dish which at first seemed like a nice dish but when I ate the first fried dishes (good) there was crumpled paper underneath so as to create a mound and make it look like an abundant dish, not it's done. In fact, for 22 euros it was little. I didn't like the service because the waitress handed me the dishes across the table and I had to take them and put them away. I find this to be unprofessional and also rude, but I must say that one of your colleagues went around the table correctly, let's hope that the incorrect waitress is a neophyte who needs to learn. Good desserts. Would I recommend it? No, it doesn't mean that the result is the same every time, it could be better and for 50 euros it must be better.

16/08/2024: Cenato ieri sera , crudi buoni ma il cacciucco mi ha lasciata davvero perplessa ,vedo dalle foto sul sito piatti fantastici e grande varietà ,nel nostro caso ieri sera c era un menù di tutto altro genere ,tornando al cacciucco era una teglia enorme che pareva il fondo del sugo per la pasta ,infatti ho mangiato il pesce cioè cozze ,pesce bianco ecc ma non c era liquido solo come fondo una distesa di pomodoro incomprensibile che non era altro che il condimento per un eventuale spaghetto .tutto per 25 euro . Una cifra incredibile per una teglia di sugo al pesce con tre pezzi di pane che infatti stavano in piedi perché mancava la parte tipica della “ zuppa “ stessa. Il resto buono probabilmente sono stata sfortunata io a prendere il pezzo sfortunato nel risicato menu .

09/08/2024: First time, business lunch... very friendly staff, absolutely nothing to complain about... really good. I ate everything based on fish, everything was really good. Particular place, sea view, has no parking but we had no difficulty finding it in the surrounding streets. Fair value for money.
