30/04/2026: Lo Schiaccianoci is my go-to place in Versilia, like a second home. I've been coming here for many years, and in addition to the excellent food, it's the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. Everyone is friendly and professional.

04/05/2026: They didn't give us a room at the hotel. They took us to a house across the street. The room was very basic, and the bathroom was old and outdated. The shower was tiny and difficult to use, and the toilet cistern was broken; we had to hit it to get it to work. It was very expensive for the awful room they gave us. I don't recommend it. 20/03/2026: A lovely hotel in San Gimignano, with the owner's courtesy and helpfulness. The only downside was that we had to pay for two coffees in the morning, even though breakfast was included. Sometimes you need a good nose.

07/03/2026: Good evening, negative personal experience. I must say first that I am Neapolitan, therefore accustomed to eating typical Campania products. The worst fried filling I have ever eaten was the unleavened dough, cooked incorrectly, the oil not at the right temperature, the filling was unbalanced, almost non-existent. The Margherita was the same, unleavened dough and the taste did not reflect the true Campania traditions, almost at the level of a frozen Cameo pizza. The cuoppo, for the excessive cost of 6 euros, had four seafood fritters and a mozzarella in carrozza. Disappointment, I had high expectations, I strongly advise against it!

07/03/2026: Excellent place for a business lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, excellent wine selection, and a lovely menu. The fish is exceptional. Well done.

19/05/2026: For those who love thin pizza, in my opinion it's the best in the area, but the rest of the food is also truly excellent. The prices have gone up a bit lately, but the pizza and the location, especially in the summer, are worth it.

13/05/2026: We went for lunch on Sunday. So the two first courses arrived at 1:30 PM. The second course arrived at 2:30 PM, along with my second course... My spaghetti allo scoglio was only heads. Of course, it was pointed out...but who cares? Okay. The bill included the wrong bottle of wine, 15 euros more. Clearly, I noticed, and it was refunded. P.S. Am I a professional?

09/12/2025: It was my first time at the restaurant, and I'll be back soon. I found friendly, helpful people who know their stuff. The food was varied and excellent, and stood out from the usual seafood. I highly recommend it for its variety and quality.

14/09/2025: Excellent seafood and land in the heart of Cecina! A relaxing atmosphere and impeccable service. The selection of raw fish... incredibly fresh, prepared with care. The attention to the ingredients is undeniably evident! Another highlight of the evening was the porcini mushroom risotto with pink shrimp and almonds, perfectly creamed and fragrant. A nice selection of wines. I found the price to be fair given the quality of the ingredients. If you enjoy good food and good food, this restaurant is the place to come.

11/09/2025: This isn't my first time dining at this restaurant. I returned after a few years, and the quality has improved significantly, thanks to Luca, the manager.

18/08/2025: I had the pleasure of having breakfast and dinner at the Mariva Dune restaurant with my family, and the experience was exceptional! The location is perfect: very close to the sea, yet immersed in a green oasis that guarantees a truly relaxing atmosphere. The food is top-quality, with fresh, tasty dishes prepared with great attention to detail. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, and the attention to detail, including that of the property manager, Luca, makes the experience even more pleasant and exclusive. Highly recommended for those seeking nature, excellent cuisine, and a relaxing atmosphere. We'll be back soon!

14/05/2026: A very nice, intimate, and well-kept restaurant. Since it was the start of the season, their menu was quite limited. The dishes were good, with decent portions. The prices weren't exactly cheap, but they were fairly in line with the Elba average (two appetizers, one first course, one second course, two glasses of wine) for around €90.

08/04/2026: A complicated review because it's a combination of conflicting opinions on several aspects. The cramped, overly odorous atmosphere contrasts with the appreciable care, attention, and helpfulness of the staff. The restaurant's truly excellent cuisine is matched by one of the worst pizzas I've ever had (the dough, cooking, and even the ingredients were decidedly inadequate). The price is good.

02/04/2026: Excellent dinner The charcuterie and cheese platter was delicious, not to mention the delicious tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes and sea bream as a starter, the freshest fried squid, and finally, the delicious, homemade, warm chocolate heart. We thank Alba and Maurizio for their warm welcome, making us feel as if we were dining at a friend's house. The prices are also reasonable, and it's a place we'll gladly return to.

03/12/2025: The best sushi in the area. Consistently high quality, fresh, and tasty. Friendly staff, and the owner even more so!

22/09/2025: Eating on a terrace with a view of wonderful gardens, excellent service, and the entire staff was extremely friendly. It was truly an extraordinary experience. We ordered gnocchi, Milanese, angelotto, and tagliatelle, all delicious, as was the bread basket.

24/02/2026: Terrible experience. Poor quality food. Sad atmosphere (even though the consecrated church is nice). Let alone the service: three times they brought us dishes that weren't ours. If only we'd paid less.

15/04/2026: Overpriced for what they offer. Eating out smells like sewer. Service is left to chance; they don't even list allergens on the menu, and politeness is optional.

14/03/2026: We stopped by chance at a small, elegantly decorated, clean restaurant with excellent service. A wide selection of wines, a menu of both meat and seafood, and inviting, unpredictable dishes from start to finish. We ordered a Tuscan tortello with meat ragù, which was tasty and balanced, and a salmon tarar with citrus fruits, absolutely fantastic, fresh and tender, accompanied by a delicious, unique sauce. We then shared an exceptional dish that I highly recommend, and the boiled seafood left me speechless... I've never had such a delicious dish, and if I had to rate it, it would get my 10. We then finished with a chocolate tenerina served warm with a raspberry sauce. This course was also well-rounded, balanced, and delicious. Two glasses of red wine. Two coffees, too, left nothing to chance, accompanied by delicious homemade cookies. High-quality cuisine, fresh ingredients, refined and unpredictable cuisine, excellent value for money. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

18/04/2026: The place is very large and the pizza is really good. The crust is quite crispy, as is the rest of the pizza. I'll definitely be back when I want to eat good pizza!!
