14/08/2026: I'm taking a long view, bear with me. So far, we've spent our holidays in Castiglione three times. Between beaches, houses, and different adventures (let's ignore them), one constant: buddy Andrea, who harps on once an hour with "We really should go to the Recinto." Once an hour, for 18 hours a day (he sleeps little), for three different weeks. Do the math. The fateful moment arrives during the last dinner (unintentional biblical reference) of our third stay. We book, partly to save and avoid further dirtying what's left of the house. You'll be surprised, but we (unfortunately) aren't: Andrea at home eating pizza. And making a mess. Result: best dinner of the holiday, people coming out with "They don't make a damn thing wrong here" at an unreasonable volume, and even this time Andrea and cunning remain two parallel lines. Let's take what's good; the intuition was impeccable.

13/08/2026: Despite the friendliness of the owners and staff, I can't give this place a positive review. I thought that, being away from the center, it might be less touristy and more traditional. Instead, we ate the same mediocre dishes as the downtown restaurants. Probably because we chose the wrong fish dish. I think they're more inclined to meat... but the prices, while in line with Castiglione's tourist restaurants, seemed excessive given the location. However, a 45-minute wait for appetizers and a hefty cover charge for eating on paper tablecloths, breathing in the smoke from customers at nearby tables who, being outdoors, felt they had the right to smoke, are unacceptable.

11/05/2026: Wonderful place, small spa but proportionate to the number of rooms in the structure, very large and beautiful outdoor area, relaxing massages that do what they are supposed to, restaurant with small portions but high quality.

27/04/2026: I purchased the Botticelli voucher as a gift for my wife. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Debora, kind and smiling. We were placed in a Charme room, which could use some minor maintenance to bring it up to a 4-star standard. Overall, it was satisfactory. The spa experience was excellent, especially given the limited number of other guests. The staff were polite and courteous. One suggestion: I would provide the herbal tea corner with a kettle and at least a couple of herbal tea bags. The restaurant area for dinner was very popular, as were the dishes we sampled. The wait staff were also professional, yet had a pleasant, friendly demeanor. Bathrobes and beach towels were provided. Breakfast was also satisfactory. We will definitely return and I recommend it! Special mention goes to Giovanni at reception. He was excellent at resolving a mix-up!

07/08/2026: Excellent food, I truly enjoyed every single dish. I only had the fried calamari and shrimp left over because I was too full from the other dishes, but that was worth it too! Perfect and welcoming service, highly recommended!

03/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! From the looks of it, an excellent selection of land and sea dishes, and I can confirm that the sea food is exceptional! A delicious mixed fried fish accompanied by truly tasty sandwiches and seafood entrees, with just the right portions. The quality-price ratio is more than fair, especially considering it's right in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia. The staff is very friendly, pleasant, and professional, something that doesn't at all resonate with some of the comments found in other reviews. These criticisms are completely incomprehensible, just as the criticisms about the quality-price ratio are incomprehensible. If the food is so good, especially considering the portions, I don't understand why there's such pointless criticism.

09/12/2025: It was my first time at the restaurant, and I'll be back soon. I found friendly, helpful people who know their stuff. The food was varied and excellent, and stood out from the usual seafood. I highly recommend it for its variety and quality.

14/09/2025: Excellent seafood and land in the heart of Cecina! A relaxing atmosphere and impeccable service. The selection of raw fish... incredibly fresh, prepared with care. The attention to the ingredients is undeniably evident! Another highlight of the evening was the porcini mushroom risotto with pink shrimp and almonds, perfectly creamed and fragrant. A nice selection of wines. I found the price to be fair given the quality of the ingredients. If you enjoy good food and good food, this restaurant is the place to come.

26/06/2026: We came for dinner on Friday the 26th, just the two of us. We had two pizzas, a spritz, and a lemonade. The staff was very welcoming, and the price was very reasonable. We had a very good meal. I recommend it.

21/07/2026: Pizza Diavola was okay. Fungi, on the other hand, was a sad-looking pizza. Taste was nonexistent. The waitstaff didn't notice us, so we couldn't order drinks again. When we waved to get their attention and ordered something else, it simply didn't arrive. We then went inside to pay. There are better restaurants.

26/03/2026: Unfortunately, I have to point out that the restaurant closed down a few weeks ago, which is a real shame. They were a point of reference in the area and I always had their delicious vegan menu :(

22/02/2026: By any chance is the place called sushi or rice because there is only rice, the fish ran away while it was running away and lost some salt, no because it doesn't taste like anything, change your profession, it's not for you

22/09/2025: Eating on a terrace overlooking wonderful gardens, excellent service, and great friendliness from all the staff, was truly an extraordinary experience. We ordered gnocchi, milanesa, angelotto, and tagliatelle, all delicious, as was the bread basket.

19/07/2026: Well, what can I say... when we arrived, they didn't even consider us. I looked for the reserved table... alone.... 30 minutes and they threw us the blackboard with the menu. ... not a good evening or a look. We took our time ordering.... an hour later, the appetizer. ... 5. The first course hasn't arrived and I don't know if I'll order it because it's late and I'm sleepy.... AH... arrived, right on time... but it's overcooked and salty... 😰 I understand everything... but in a seaside place in July, there are two of you to serve and you also have to take multiple shifts for dinner. 🙄 Sorry... BUT WE'RE NOT HERE. I'd heard good things about this place... I'd even read the reviews... Too bad, I have a house nearby, it would have been a discovery. I don't think I'll go back. Very disappointing experience.

18/07/2026: Roadside restaurant. There were two of us, and we each ordered a dish, a bottle of white wine for €35, a rum, and a passito, for a total of €115. A price that was completely unjustified, neither by the location nor the quality of the dishes. The menu, written on the blackboard, listed "spaghetti with lobster." However, lobster wasn't available and was replaced with crawfish; it would have taken very little to erase and rewrite the name correctly. Furthermore, the price remained unchanged compared to the lobster, and while I'd rather ignore this detail, the main problem was another: the pasta was very sticky, giving the impression of being pre-cooked. Furthermore, for €30, I'd expect a lobster dish to include the tail with the meat, which unfortunately wasn't there. I will definitely never go back and I strongly advise against it.

30/04/2026: From the moment we booked, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I changed the number of people for lunch three times, and they did everything they could to accommodate us. The restrooms were very clean, and the restaurant was welcoming with a high-quality menu. Impeccable service. Excellent! We'll be back!
