21/11/2025: Excellent first courses, varied and plentiful. I recommend booking well in advance or you risk being booked out. A Pisan must-try, both on Sundays and every day.

17/11/2025: Super central and lovely place for eating outside in the summer in Piazza della Berlina. It's also a good idea to take advantage of the €25 menu with four types of pasta, if you're in good company. I tried all the seafood dishes; some were good, others weren't very flavorful and could be improved; sometimes they even seemed a bit cold. I wasn't crazy about the dessert (cheesecake). Overall, it's not bad.

17/10/2025: Wonderful dinner, I had the spina CB and ricotta ravioli and my husband got a pizza. The wine was great as well. Service was excellent!

22/10/2025: Beautiful renovation, fabulous location! Regarding the menu... something new, like the fried shrimp in potato spaghetti, excellent. I was also amazed by the grilled ravioli, which were truly excellent. Not a lot of wines, but they weren't ordinary. In short, we'll be back. Everything was good, perfect service.

04/10/2025: Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience. Unpresentable appetizers. Overcooked spaghetti with seafood. We reported it and they acknowledged that the dishes were unpresentable. Despite the fact that out of nine people, only one ate, and she ordered a Catalana (the only good dish). €35 per person, not including dinner! I'm sorry, but I strongly advise against it.

01/08/2025: La Rocca at Castelfalfi is a dream come true if you enjoy masterfully prepared dishes that are composed of locally sourced ingredients and combine flavor and texture in ways you can't imagine. Chef Davide De Simone and his crew really outdid themselves with incredible combinations. Every course of the tasting menu was exceptional and creative, but the escargots and the risotto just blew us away. As always, the people make the difference, in our case Mr Jacopo made us feel at home from the minute we stepped into the gorgeous dining room. His knowledge of the dishes, ingredients and preparation techniques was outstanding, but above all he was a kind person with a captivating smile - and outstanding Spanish skills :-) Thank.you for a wonderful evening, Valeria and Daniel

25/10/2025: A busy restaurant in the center of Viareggio, with average food and service. A place that caters to large numbers of customers, where you can't really provide much attention.

14/11/2025: Unfortunately, it was a real disappointment. The place was a complete failure: the food was not good, the ingredients weren't fresh, and the flavors were truly below average. Furthermore, the staff seemed a bit nervous and unprofessional, almost as if bothering customers was normal. Overall, a bad experience. Of all the good places out there, I definitely wouldn't recommend this one.

20/10/2025: 1' I'd like to introduce myself and reply to your post, which actually made me smile in some ways, the way you tried to attack instead of trying to understand our discomfort. I'm the chaperone (I was there, unfortunately none of the waiters ever took me into consideration) of the group of 45 people who were "lucky" enough to eat at your restaurant on Sunday, October 12th. We were there at 1:00 PM. Eating is a manner of speaking!! Nonexistent service, which didn't meet any of our basic requests without repeated reminders. The nonexistent appetizer arrived after 30 minutes, and some diners didn't even get any, including the one next to me. Rice arrived after another 45 minutes, and after half an hour, penne, which I'd call tomato sauce because the fish wasn't visible. I pointed out to the waiter that 7 people hadn't had their first course, and 25 minutes later, the tray arrived. I personally don't drink wine, but I definitely ate bread in the 40 minutes between courses because I was so hungry. I personally asked the younger waiter if he could please bring coffee with dessert because, honestly, it was after 4:30 PM and we also wanted to go to the beach. 2' I want to reassure you right away that there weren't any hooligans present, but couples in their 50s and older from a club who have never had or caused any problems during our trips, quite the opposite. 3' I don't know which plants you're referring to, because beyond the hedge where half the diners were practically hanging, I didn't notice any others. 4' As for the service, I was among the last to arrive and I didn't find any of the things you wrote, and that's incorrect. 5' In my ignorance, having managed a restaurant for 20 years, I dare say that if you accept 45 people, you can't expect them to tone it down, as I was asked several times by a waiter (who evidently recognized me as the chaperone) because with 45 of us, either we're silent or if we talk, it's normal for it to become noisy, and it certainly bothers the other people. Maybe it would have been better not to hire us, for us and for you. "NEVER AGAIN" what you wrote in your reply didn't bother me; on the contrary, it's mutual. Good job, chaperone 😉🫣

12/10/2025: A restaurant with a serious identity crisis, a roadside shack that it would like to be. To say that the waiters were absent is a compliment. To get water and bread, not to mention wine, at a certain point we had to pray to the patron saint of Viareggio. We were a group of 45 people, everything arranged well in advance. We found ourselves faced with a surreal situation: appetizers were given out drop by drop, in fact, some didn't even eat. When we asked to bring something back, we were denied with the excuse that the first courses were arriving. Another gaffe: the first courses arrived after 45 minutes, the children were served after the adults, the child's ravioli were raw, the group's fish first courses were embarrassing, the rice was overcooked like the pasta and both tasteless, the fish was anonymous and absent from the pasta alla trabaccolara. I made a great effort to call it trabaccolara. The highlight was reached with the fried food, cold and almost all vegetables. We ate in batches, some even got hot, and one child's second course was also missing. Never brought anything, and we almost got kidnapped. We arrived at around 1:00 PM and by 4:30 PM we still hadn't finished. We wasted a lot of time, not because of the amount of food, which was so small, but because of the amount of cosmic emptiness between courses. I can't believe how they still manage to have customers. Avoid like the plague. As my grandfather used to say, if I had known, I wouldn't have come!

20/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated...we waited an hour and a half for a plate of penne with tomato sauce and a chicken breast...and the place was practically empty. As soon as we'd eaten our dish, we, like the other three diners, went to pay without even getting our coffee!

15/10/2025: Delicious pizza and friendly service! Our dog was even allowed to come along :)

06/11/2025: Everything was good, but the prices were a little high. I was disappointed with the fried food... (as you can see in the attached video) €14 for a really small portion, a shame. Otherwise, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

04/11/2025: Great place with the most delicious sandwiches we've ever tasted 😋 I recommend the sandwich with octopus and tuna tataki. On the afternoon, there was a queue and the orders went slow, but the waiting was absolutely worthy.

19/09/2025: We went with colleagues for a quick lunch. Excellent fried squid and shrimp with fries! Friendly and helpful staff, simple but charming restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

22/10/2025: We received a friendly welcome. Upon request, they made us a delicious vegan pizza (without cheese). We were allowed to spend the night in our camper van in the parking lot. P.S.: When we sat down, bread was brought to our table without asking and then charged us (€4). Otherwise, we were satisfied :)

08/10/2025: Good food, excellent value for money....close to home but in high season it's best to book.
