16/08/2026: Dining at Ristorante Al Convento in Gavorrano is a truly delightful experience, especially in the evening, when the beautiful view makes the atmosphere even more evocative. The menu isn't extensive, but the offerings are carefully selected and of good quality. The ravioli with grouper and shrimp are excellent, flavorful and well-balanced, as is the fried fish, dry, crispy, and truly well-executed. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality and experience offered. A little tip for those arriving by car: it's best to park further down, as soon as you see the first white-lined parking spaces, and walk to the restaurant. A short climb, but definitely worth it, especially to enjoy the splendid evening view.

14/08/2026: The atmosphere is delightful and the food is good. You have a fair selection of meat and fish. I recommend the steamed shrimp on a bed of hummus and caramelized onions: a delicious choice. The service was a bit chaotic at times, which is perhaps explained by our visit during the Ferragosto holiday, a busy tourist period.

Generous portions and quality ingredients. Absolutely 5-star food. Fast and courteous service (4 stars), pleasant and welcoming atmosphere with warm, inviting lighting that creates a lovely atmosphere (4 stars). Excellent value for money. I would gladly return, highly recommended!

16/08/2026: Friendly service, but inattentive. I didn't even get cutlery; half a set was lying on the table opposite me, which I then used. The server didn't pay attention to the table, even though she brought dressings and food several times. Vegetarians are out of luck there, but I'm used to that and usually just order salad and the like. The bread was so dry you'd think it had been sliced ​​that morning and left to rot in 40-degree heat. It was also completely tasteless. So I ordered side dishes: potatoes (which were okay) and mixed vegetables—what arrived was thawed spinach that still tasted frozen. The salad was unimaginative: a few leaves of arugula and traces of other leafy greens, a few pieces of tomato, and some grated carrots for garnish—that was it. There were no wines by the glass on the menu, so I ordered a beer. It was cold, even had a bit of a head, and tasted better than the food. I won't be going back. Perhaps the pizzas are better. In any case, there were a lot of guests, and as far as I could see, they were all eating pizza. So, as a pizzeria, it's probably OK, but as a restaurant, not for me.

01/07/2026: After a previous unpleasant experience at another restaurant, coming to EDI House was a real treat. We ate truly wonderfully. The swordfish was exceptional, incredibly tender, and literally melted in your mouth. The cod prepared EDI House-style was also a pleasant discovery: flavorful, well-balanced, and cooked with great care. The dessert ended the dinner perfectly, truly delicious. But what makes this restaurant special isn't just the quality of the dishes. The staff was impeccable: kind, professional, and attentive to every detail, making us feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish. I'd especially like to thank a young man named PAL. You can sense their passion for their work and their attention to customer service, qualities that are increasingly rare and therefore even more appreciated. Compliments to all the staff. We will definitely be back and I recommend it without hesitation.
