27/05/2026: Since my last visit, many years ago, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff have improved significantly. Interesting offerings for both the restaurant and the pizzeria, classic pizza, thin (that's fine for me, I'll write this for those who expect something different), well-leavened dough.
25/05/2026: Edi House remains the same place it was 20 years ago, a true blast from the past! I rediscovered fried polenta with porcini mushrooms, which is hard to find in pizzerias these days! Friendly staff, prices in line with the area, decent food. Easy parking.

14/05/2026: Had a great meal here! The staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic. Whether you order pasta or a nice piece of fish or meat. The tiramisu is also highly recommended. Plenty of choice in fine wines!

A very elegant location, impeccable service, and a management team that makes you feel at home. The mixed seafood appetizers are excellent. The wine list is well-stocked. Prices are above average.

30/11/2025: Super fresh fish, generous portions, and a truly exceptional Gran Crudo in terms of variety and quality. Attentive service, with detailed explanations of the dishes. Excellent value, especially considering it's not on the waterfront. Highly recommended for seafood lovers.
Second visit to Black Out and absolute confirmation: well-executed dishes and consistently excellent fish.
The cacio e pepe pici with fish, the maltagliati, and a rich and incredibly fresh seafood salad are excellent.
A reliable and consistent place, worth keeping on your list.

19/05/2026: We walk around Lucca looking for busy restaurants which we hope is a good sign. We had a very simple but delicious meal starting with a complimentary Prosecco. I saw Pici so we had to try it. Fresh with a delicious sauce. The spinach was delicious as well. Great service with a smile.
18/05/2026: I ate there when I was at the summer camp. It was a lifesaver, the hotel food was awful, and when we went to eat there it was like a miracle. The food was delicious, especially the lemon sorbet.

He literally chased us out of the restaurant when we asked him to close a window.
Furthermore, we were with an elderly person with reduced mobility.
07/06/2026: A very charming seaside restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere and a pleasant location. Special praise goes to the owner's son, who served us with professionalism, courtesy, and attention.
Unfortunately, the value for money wasn't entirely convincing: in the first course of clams and bottarga, more than half the clams were closed or empty, compromising the quality of the dish. A shame, because the service lived up to expectations.

A very nice place, very friendly staff, pizzas and other dishes arrived very quickly, and the quality of the pizza was top notch.
I'll definitely be back!
I also recommend trying the tagliata, which is really good.

The pizza was overall good in size and flavor, just a little undercooked.
The other dishes were decent.
A note about the service: we ended up ordering two portions of potatoes. After a while, we were told that some of them were out, and when we changed our order, they even stopped to bring our dishes. It could have been much better if it hadn't been for the poor service.
