06/08/2024: Cozy family-run traditional trattoria near Uffizi. Tagliatelle ai cinghiale (freshly made pasta with wide boar sauce) is really good. Alessandro, the son of Founder Roberto, is so kind and gave me a beautiful bookmark of Botticelli as souvenir. Having learned Italian in Florence long time ago, this is my 8th time visit to Florence. I highly recommend to come to Trattoria Roberto.

06/08/2024: A place so nice!! We visited twice. I honestly was taken by surprise with Roberto. The food here was very well prepared and as close to home-cooked as it got. It did take us a little bit of time to get our food but we were okay with that because it is a family-run restaurant. Service was amazing. They checked in on us regularly and we're very friendly. The atmosphere here is so old school. You can't help but feel at home when you sit down. I highly recommend the chingali stew as it was very tasty, as well as the sausage and beans.

20/08/2024: Food Quality: Very good food. Must try the grilled beef and anything with truffles. Reservation: You must make a reservation. In August, it seems you need to book 2 days in advance because it is a small restaurant with limited seating. Overall Experience: Despite the wait and effort, it was well worth it because the food is very tasty.

12/08/2024: Among the various restaurants we tried in Lido di Camaiore, La Fascina stands out. The atmosphere is welcoming which creates a relaxing environment. The menu offers a vast selection of fresh fish dishes and as many meat options. Various proposals for children, even off the menu. We preferred the fish, trying the crudités and a baked fish dish. I particularly liked the trio of tartare appetizer, not particularly rich but tasty, and the baked snapper, plentiful and well cooked. For our child we got the pasta with meat sauce which he devoured. The service was attentive and courteous. The extensive wine list and the kind advice of the sommelier also deserve a mention. Recommended for those who love fish and are looking for a quality dinner.

24/08/2024: Beautiful location, young and very professional staff, huge and very complete menu, the cuisine is from another planet, enormous selection of wines, my friends and I asked the staff for advice on wine and we were fully satisfied, simply incredible experience not to be missed.

29/07/2024: Very nice place Sophisticated details and attention to the customer. The terrace on both sides of the corner restaurant is beautiful. Interesting menu but the tasting menu must be taken by all guests otherwise it will not be served. The dishes are good, fresh raw materials. Excellent attention to allergy sufferers, vegans and celiacs. The wine cellar is well stocked. Average price. I spent a pleasant evening with friends, ate well and relaxed. I'll be back as soon as possible

20/07/2024: What a perfect hotel. Friendly, family-run hotel with fantastic cuisine. We were on our bikes (Reitsma route) and were allowed to store them in the garage. Furthermore, only praise for the hospitality.

19/07/2024: If a trip to the 60s tempts you then this place is for you. Hotel in a peaceful location. A great, very friendly welcome. Very clean room. The restaurant is not to be missed, simple and tasty cuisine, local products and everything is homemade.

31/08/2024: All very good, attentive and kind staff, they made us feel at ease, despite the inexperience of some junior waiters. The amouse bouche of a fifth quarter of fish and the dry aged fish carpaccio were much appreciated. The manager, despite being too bright at times, was kind in finding us a last seat and friendly in his service. Location in the main street softened by many green plants. Bring anti-mosquito lotion (common in Piombino)

27/08/2024: We went last Saturday for lunch. External table. We decided to ask the manager for advice and it was truly a riot of goodness. The skilfully prepared fish we tasted was truly exquisite. I recommend this place when you want to try something special at reasonable prices.

21/08/2024: Niente da dire sulla cucina che ci è piaciuta molto: tutto ottimo. Invece abbiamo trovato davvero fastidioso il maitre per due aspetti: molto insistente nel farci prendere un antipasto che non volevamo (vi tocca poi aspettare 30 minuti e che fate mi mangiate il pane?) e poi aleggiava sul tavolo costantemente. Ci siamo sentiti osservati per tutta la cena. Anche sul vino che avevo scelto ha avuto da ridire: e ha cercato di farmi scegliere una bottiglia che costava almeno il doppio. Insomma cucina ottima, servizio un po’ meno.

04/08/2024: Per 21 is located on a side street near the central square. As the name suggests, the restaurant only has 21 seats. There is a small menu with both fish and meat courses and of course pasta is also a must. The tasting menu for under 40 euros includes three courses, a fair price for really delicious food. We liked it so much that we went there a second time during our holiday week. If I could raise one point of criticism, it would be the temperature of the wine served. The white wine was chilled, but the red wine was taken straight from the shelf by the charming hostess. Of course, this is not the actually sensible 12-18 degrees, depending on the type of red wine. Surprisingly, during my Lucca week I only found one wine bar that had the wines at the correct temperature. Amazing in a country like Italy. 18/08/2024: Good quality at an average price. The waiters are very kind, but just 2 for a full place is too few.
