08/05/2024: Food, service and environment were normal, the owner was rude and presumptuous!!!

28/04/2024: Perfect dinner with friends in the La Galleria restaurant. We chose the fish menu from the large menu. What came to the table then overwhelmed us. Fish and shellfish in a wide variety of preparation forms. The service was great and fun. We had a great evening and will stop by again next time we are in Tuscany.

26/03/2024: I frequented this restaurant a couple of years ago, with my husband, everything was absolutely perfect. Chef Rossi is the Chagall of the dish. We are about to return after the Easter holidays.

27/02/2024: Beautiful environment, nothing to say. Service ok, food at average trattoria levels, nothing exceptional, much less up to the level of the final bill paid, absolutely a mistake. There are many places of absolutely superior quality with the same or even lower prices. Sorry, but this is not a place I would return to.

04/04/2024: Urchin pasta, taste only pepper or something. It was Just “spicy”. No taste of urchin… I think they mistakenly put pepper instead of salt???the other pastas were good.

14/03/2024: Excellent quality of fish. Various starters and all really good. As a first course, I recommend the linguine with sea urchin, an exceptional dish.

03/03/2024: Sono tornato in questo bel ristorante, dopo oltre un anno, quando alcuni amici me lo avevano fatto conoscere. Mi ero favorevolmente meravigliato di come fosse stato ben arredato, dell’ottimo servizio (certo non da Livorno)e del buon cibo. Questa volta sono io che ho portato oltre a mia moglie una amica : antipasti e primi ben presentati ed ottimi, un fritto di gamberi squisiti e per niente unto, con verdura e totani. Servizio attento, ma non oppressivo. Dolci super golosi. Buona scelta dei vini ed un calvados da intenditore. Prezzo giusto. Ci tornerò.

19/04/2024: Dinner at this place. Rather dated furnishings (very 90s) but clean and tidy. Service carried out with courtesy, punctuality and kindness but the opening of the bottle of wine leaves a lot to be desired (performed with the back of the customer who ordered it). Normal food, good but without particular emotions. Truly delicious desserts. Decent wine list but could be improved. A little expensive given the quality and location. I suggest greater attention when opening the wine, to be done in front of the customer and without unusual movements. The cuisine needs improvement: the flavors are good but a little flat: the chef can dare more, and he has all the capabilities. He must put the same passion into preparing dishes that he puts into desserts.

12/05/2024: Today I can't help but give a review with maximum points. Place without water due to work on the road that severed their water pipe and despite everything excellent service, excellent food and in good times. Ours was the first time with them and we will return.

10/05/2024: We were received with courtesy in a welcoming room, where the sunset over the Tyrrhenian Sea is a perfect backdrop. We chose two appetizers (warm and tuna tartare, good) and a baked turbot with potatoes and artichokes for two (perfect, right portions, but not abundant), four glasses of Vermentino from Bolgheri (honest) and two bottles of water . Flaws: the wait (we were among the first, we entered at 7.30pm and left at 9pm with two courses) and the truly excessive price: We had thought about returning, but given the bill (87 euros each) we changed our mind: what we got although the meal was excellent, even in the knowledge that we had dined in a good quality restaurant, in our opinion it was not worth the price paid.
