28/09/2025: The place is very beautiful and well-kept. The service is attentive, professional, and the timing is more than right. As for the food, unfortunately, after an excellent start, the quality gradually declined. The entrees, with homemade breads, butter, and three truly interesting tastings, were very welcome. The three standard dishes had two main problems: - the small portions. We left hungry despite having three courses plus a dessert, in addition to the initial freebies. The main course had no side dish (a potato slice). The appetizer was half a Portobello mushroom, with the stem removed. Too small. We also noticed unintentional portion differences (especially for the first course and dessert) between different diners. - the courses (first and second courses) arrived cold. The dish was cold, the sauce poured over it was barely warm, which meant that after two bites the dish was objectively cold. Too bad. We had high expectations, but unfortunately, it was a decline. We'll try it again.

02/11/2025: We went to Fornello for the second time, accompanied by a couple of friends. The dinner was good, but I have to make a point: three of us chose the tagliolini with butter and white truffle. Typically, the truffle is cut at the table because it enhances the flavor of the truffle, and the weight per portion should be between 5 and 10 grams. In our case, however, the tagliolini were served directly from the kitchen with the truffle already on top, a minimal amount that left more room for the flavor of the butter. What a shame.

We ate really well, the service was attentive and punctual, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. I almost forgot.... 18/09/2025: Definitely... The establishment is very well presented and has a pleasant outdoor space with reserved parking for guests. The cuisine is focused on quality, and it shows. Unfortunately, the seafood salad wasn't to my liking, but the fried oxtails were flavorful and dry, the grilled octopus was just the right amount of toughness, the spaghetti with clams was delicious, and the red prawns were delicate. To finish, we tried the tiramisu and the zuccotto, both homemade and both delicious. The service is attentive, although aside from Marco (my heartfelt compliments for his manners), there are some gross errors unworthy of the establishment. The bill is absolutely in line with the offerings and the quality of the food. An absolutely positive experience.

It's all very good, but there's NO way to fight mosquitoes other than spraying water and mosquito repellent at face level, without asking anyone, with the substance getting in your mouth and on your food. Fight them in other ways, but not like this.
