Vito is a friendly and competent host, the service provided by a professional courteous staff accompanied by the right sympathy. The spaghetti with red mullet is excellent but whatever dish you choose you will fall on your feet😀. We will be back

01/01/2025: La cosa più brutta che nessuno si avvicinava al nostro tavolo pur vedendo che non stavamo mangiando il primo piatto che doveva essere Linguine alle vongole pubblicizzate in lavagna anche fuori dal locale e che altro non erano che una porzione di linguine ultra scotte e senza alcun condimento con 4 lupini appoggiati da un lato di cui 3 vuoti e senza u. Goccio d olio ne di acqua di cottura in padella ma solamente pasta scotta asciutta per non dire che di due primi ordinati il primo il risotto di mare condito con l insalata di mare dell antipasto e freddo il secondo c'è l hanno portato dopo 10 minuti. Comunque abbiamo lasciato il primo piatto per come c'è l hanno portato e al momen6do pagare abbiamo detto che eravamo insoddisfatti e che avevamo lasciato il primo per come ce l hanno portato ma ci hanno completamente ignorato premunendosi solo di togliere il piatto dal tavolo per non farlo vedere agli altri che comunque erano tutti scontenti delle pietanze lamentandosi anche a voce alta. Non alkeho foto che ho fatto per riprova perché è veramente scandalosa .

01/01/2025: Welcoming place, very kind staff always present for any clarification on the menu. For Christmas they had an à la carte menu which was excellent. I also recommend it for normal days, it's worth it both for the raw materials and the price. Congratulations to everyone including the chef.

18/01/2025: Congratulations to all the staff of this simply FABULOUS restaurant! The food is delicious, cooked and treated following tradition (my grandmother was Tuscan) with excellent results. Worth noting is the excellent quality-price ratio, we ate a Florentine steak with a Brunello di Montalcino without being "bleeded". To be recommended, especially compared to other more famous restaurants that pay a lot of attention to aesthetics but offer a service that is too "touristy" with much higher prices for a quality that is absolutely not superior

There is a very happy hand of the chef which can be seen in the balance of the ingredients, the ideas, the combinations that are not an end in themselves, the cutting and cooking of the vegetables, in short, a new and particularly "fresh and genuine" taste experience. Irreproachable oysters, sweet to match. Location with the sea 10 meters away. An experience absolutely worth repeating. Price a little high but you know, you pay for quality. The only flaw is the frying, which is banal (at least for those who caught cuttlefish and squid last summer and fried them on the spot...) Show less

08/03/2025: Ormai il refrain quando si pranza o cena fuori è che si mangia meglio a casa. Questo non è il caso de La Lucciola. C'è una mano felicissima del cuoco che si nota nell'equilibrio degli ingredienti, le idee, gli abbinamenti non fine a se stessi, ilo taglio e la cottura delle verdure, insomma un'esperienza di gusto nuova e particolarmente "fresca e genuina". Ostriche irreprensibili, dolci all'altezza. Location col mare a 10 metri. Esperienza assolutamente da ripetere. Prezzo un po' altino ma si sa, la qualità si paga. Unico neo, la frittura, banale (almeno per chi nell'ultima estate ha pescato seppie e calamari friggendoli al momento ...)

Starter with aubergine flan, two tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms for my wife and me, a Florentine steak divided in two for the kids with a side salad. To finish, desserts include creme brulee and chocolate soufflé. All delicious, high quality raw materials cooked and prepared very well. The service is also excellent. A truly excellent experience at the end of a beautiful day spent in Florence.

28/02/2025: We happened upon it by chance because we had a show at the theater. We were in a terrible hurry because we were late but too hungry to go in on an empty stomach 🤣. They seated us and served the pizzas in less than 10 minutes......TOOOOP!!! very good pizza, highly recommended.
