09/05/2024: Very relaxed and comfortable environment. Excellent service. Refined cuisine and well presented on the table. Right portions, you won't leave hungry. The wine list is well stocked. The only note is the abundance of splendid salt crystals in some things. Very effective, but with half of Italians fighting against the pressure... or it's being debugged. Unfortunately, the central location condemns you to search for parking.

23/04/2024: Sempre un piacere andare alla Cucina Sant'Andrea di Empoli. Si mangia con vista sulle mura del castello del '500. Il personale è gentilissimo, il posto d'eccellenza. Un menù prevalentemente di pesce, di carne "solo" tagliatelle al ragù, che abbiamo preso, buonissime e la tagliata. Ci accolgono con uno stuzzichino di polpettine di pesce. Poi abbiamo preso un gran fritto di mare con verdurine, ravili di pesce e insalatina di mare tiepido con olive taggiasche, una ricciola e calamari ripieni, tagliata di tonno. Tutto molto, molto buono. Finito con dolce e una tagliata di frutta superlativa. Prezzo conforme al cibo. Certamente un posto da ritornarci. PS Dimenticavo: alla fine pasticcini offerti dalla casa.

04/08/2024: Beautiful place. Our number 1 in Marina di Carrara. Delicious pizzas, pasta with seafood, delicious fish and white wine. Wonderful and cordial atmosphere, nice service. We ate practically the entire stay at Bati Bati. 10/10

26/07/2024: Mangiare sempre al top, in tante volte che siamo venuti non è mai stato “fallito” un piatto. Abbiamo portato vari amici e tutti sono rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dalla bontà di ogni singola portata. Per me l’eccellenza sta nel bollito misto di pesce che può sembrare un piatto facile e scontato invece ogni singolo pesce è cucinato alla perfezione e fa sì che questo piatto sia qualcosa di meraviglioso. Cameriere molto professionale e preparato, allo stesso tempo brillante e amichevole con l’abilità di farti sentire a casa. L’unica nota dolente è la cameriera che a parere nostro non è assolutamente all’altezza del posto, disattenta ai dettagli, scordandosi il pane e dovuto chiedere da noi dopo 10 minuti dall’arrivo dell’entree, posate mancanti al cambio portata, In più mai un sorriso e palesemente in difficoltà nella spiegazione delle portate a causa del fatto che non parla bene italiano.

26/07/2024: Ristorante accogliente, abbiamo cenato molto bene. Pesce fresco, piatti ben cucinati. Non solo accettano cani, ma hanno anche portato subito una ciotola d'acqua per il nostro cane.

14/07/2024: We went with high expectations and were disappointed: mediocre hot starter, pasta with lobster good and plentiful, but the carapace was not completely cut and they didn't bring us the tools to do it, in the millefeuille the pastry was thick and hard. We were served the first course not at the same time and when we pointed this out the waiter gave an inappropriate response, rather than apologising. Without wine, we spent 125 euros: too many for the quality of what we ate. We won't be returning

17/08/2024: On recommendation, this evening we had dinner at this place, excellent food, our compliments go to the chef. The sore point, having spent €120 for 2 first courses, 2 second courses and 1 bottle of bubbles for €40 plus bread and water, is the service, which is uncommentable, the head waiter was unable to personally follow each table and the waitress, inexperienced and unprepared, it didn't know how to do its job, being a place that wants to propose and position itself in a certain way, I don't see the adequate service, all of this devalued and ruined the dinner. If the service and the place were adequate, it would be worth returning to savor the chef's ideas. Luca table

As far as I'm concerned, I didn't give my best because there were still some particular dishes missing, in short, something other than a "Wow" effect was sought after. But I'm sure it will come out, it can only improve greatly and it's already excellent. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it. Well done!

04/08/2024: Picking up an umbrella by chance, we stopped for dinner and were amazed. Dinner practically on the spectacular beach, super good dishes, very fresh fish, magnificent kindness of the staff. Super recommended. A very normal bathroom in appearance, there wasn't an empty table. 10 stars!!

29/08/2024: terrible service, I arrived here at 8.15am and to eat a first course I had to wait until 9.30am but other tables where they arrived after me had their food served first while I was served much later than them and I don't understand this nonsense, but the atmosphere is very nice and welcoming, the food isn't too good, I can even recreate it at home alone, nothing special

08/08/2024: Qualità scarsa e servizio scortese. Ho speso 38 € per un polpo alla catalana( poco e secco) e un cous cous di mare( bollente e insapore). Quando mi sono alzata per andare in bagno il gestore ha dato il mio tavolo a una coppia. Pazzesco! In più, quando sono andata a pagare non mi ha fatto lo scontrino, cosa che ho chiesto prontamente! MAI PIÙ.

23/07/2024: Rather talkative manager, but very nice, pleasant entertainer. He spoke about the family origins of the place and about... Fish. Excellent mixed fried dish: pink prawns and squid with fried vegetables. Perfect cooking, no taste of oil in the mouth or even on the plate. Adequate price. We had passed it many times in the car. This time we arrived on foot happy we did. I recommend it.

27/08/2024: We returned to the Hermitage after three years and the experience was equally unforgettable. This place offers a wonderful sea and unparalleled tranquility. The attention to detail is impeccable and the cleanliness is always impeccable. The quality of the food is simply exceptional. Here time seems to stop, allowing you to think about nothing and enjoy the moment. Everything is perfectly organized and carefully arranged. The mid-August evening is always special, with an extraordinary buffet, among the best ever tried, based on very fresh fish, both cooked and raw. Abundant grilled meat options, delicious desserts and an evening animated by exceptional guests who know how to involve everyone and crazy fireworks lasting over 10 minutes, directly from the beach. This place is truly a paradise in Italy.

24/08/2024: From a natural point of view, excellent location...very kind and attentive staff. Many services also available free of charge... rooms in my opinion need to be reviewed in detail and below the 5 star standard. In any case very nice. Nice and relaxing stay
