30/05/2025: A lovely and charming seafood restaurant run by a family that’s been doing this for a couple decades! The owner who is the head chef is truly wonderful like the rest of the staff and we loved everything we had for our dinner. Every course was mesmerizing and I truly think this restaurant has the best seafood on the island. I can totally recommend the soup that everyone has mentioned in the comments but everything else is also equally delicious. We had amazing shrimp, mussels and clams, bruschettas with anchovies and mozzarella, seafood soup, shrimp risotto and fish with potato crust. The latter was the highlight of the dinner. The staff was also super friendly and sweet which made the whole experience wonderful. I look forward to coming back when I return to Elba island.

25/05/2025: It was recommended to us for the fish soup, the best on the island! We had a soup for 2 and two fillets of sea bream with potatoes. Abundant and delicious dishes!! Really super soup! We will return, thank you!

19/05/2025: Great food, and dogs are "tolerated." Unfortunately, the service was completely uninspired. Despite the restaurant being empty, we waited 20 minutes to order a coffee.

05/05/2025: Very good restaurant with excellent waiters and the food is perfect and tasty. Nice seating options. On weekends you should call and reserve in advance. I can highly recommend👍🏻

31/05/2025: Ristorante ? È un bar che vorrebbe essere un ristorante. I primi di pesce PICCANTI ( non era nemmeno precisato nel menù ) . Il peperoncino fa perdere il gusto del pesce. Pesce spada alla griglia con contorno? Pesce spada secco. Tavoli di plastica vecchi che trabballavano . Da sopra il tavolo gocciolava acqua. Purtroppo per aspirare a diventare ristorante bisogna avere delle attenzioni e cura per i clienti e nel cibo. Anche per essere un’osteria!

08/06/2025: Ho prenotato all’ultimo un tavolo per 2 all’interno in quanto fuori vista mare era tutto full, il Titolare gentilmente mi ha poi comunicato che si era liberato un tavolo fuori quindi 🔝 Servizio eccellente e qualità della proposta di altissima qualità, accompagnata da materia prima ricercata e fresca. Pesce crudo veramente molto buono. Pazzesca l’idea del gelato alla vaniglia mantecato al Rhum Zacapa.

19/05/2025: Good fish restaurant overlooking the canal of the pier of Castiglione della Pescaia. After a tour of the city, very beautiful and intimate, and the nature reserve I stopped for a plate of spaghetti with clams and bottarga: very good, a glass of good wine, very cheap prices and friendly staff. Absolutely to try!!!+++

20/06/2025: Excellent food with quality ingredients. The service is also accurate for people with intolerances and attention to gluten-free: different dishes are available with possible variations. The location by the sea is a strong plus

07/06/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una piacevole serata in questo ristorante a gestione familiare. I ragazzi in sala sono veramente ospitali e gentili, il cibo ottimo, tutto di qualità a partire dall antipasto a finire ai dolci...per non parlare della location immersa nel verde. Il prezzo finale proporzionato alla qualità. Che dire...sicuramente ci ritorneremo!

Ringrazio Susanna per aver cucinato scrupolosamente del cibo come pochi chef sanno fare. Il servizio di Angelo, Andrea ed altri ragazzi in sala e’ impeccabile, veri professionisti. Grazie di cuore.

16/06/2025: Amazing place! Delicious food, perfect prices and super welcoming environment. The fish is cooked with great skill, highlighting the flavors and never covering. Fresh products and a varied menu just enough to make everything fantastic. Really compliments!

25/05/2025: I would say a characteristic place, with a Spanish atmosphere and background music. Too bad that as soon as we entered we found no one to welcome us. We went specifically to try their "famous" paella but, I would say we were quite disappointed. Seafood and vegetable paella with fish that I would say was not fresh and definitely too little quantity for two people. Good tapas and dessert. Final bill medium/high.

06/06/2025: If you want to eat excellent fish (but even saying excellent doesn't do it justice...), this is the place for you.... If you manage to get a seat on the balcony, enjoy dinner with the sea breeze... The service is excellent, and the prices are average for this type of restaurant.... Since it is always full, booking is a must.... I recommend the tagliatelle caciuccate and the fried fish.... Devastating....

02/06/2025: The restaurant is really nice, it overlooks the sea and creates a unique atmosphere. Too bad for the price and the quality of the cuisine... I didn't like finding more sand than clams in the spaghetti The fish itself is good and apparently of quality The table service and organization need to be reconsidered, especially for the waits..

17/05/2025: A pochissimi passi dal lungo mare di Viareggio. Fin da subito ci siamo sentiti coccolati dal titolare con un entrée di benvenuto, che ci ha poi consigliato alcuni piatti in base al pescato del giorno. Dall’antipasto, poi al primo e infine al secondo tutto buonissimo! In modo particolare i tagliolini alla triglia, consigliati dal titolare, favolosi. Rapporto qualità prezzo più che ottimo!

12/05/2025: Sono stata diverse volte in questo ristorante, ma questa volta sono stata alla loro serata dedicata alla serata spagnola con tutti i piatti tipici. Che dire, esperienza fantastica e veramente tutto buono. Paella fantastica e crema catalana stellare! Da ritornarci

10/06/2025: Ci siamo stati a cena ed abbiamo chiesto tavolo direttamente “sul mare” Arrivati, siamo stati subito accolti ed accompagnati al tavolo Dopo aver ordinato vino e cibo, ci siamo resi conto del fatto che, trovandoci in una serata molto ventilata, forse sarebbe stato meglio spostarci all’interno( la vista non è comunque compromessa) Prontamente, senza pensarci 2 volte, in 3 si sono organizzati per allestire un tavolo all’interno: in 4 minuti eravamo seduti. Antipasti ben impiattati e davvero interessanti ( dopo piccolo entrèe ). Primi SUPER. Servizio attento e veloce. Probabilmente rispetto alla media si può spendere un po’ più ma certamente merita

07/06/2025: Che dire, non c’è neppure la scusa dell’alta stagione che inevitabilmente va a detrimento del livello di servizio e dell’esperienza culinaria in un ristorante. Era una calma Domenica sera di inizio Maggio, piccole onde si frangevano ritmicamente sui pilastri della palafitta. Gli avventori erano limitati e c’erano tutte le condizioni per una cena superba. Cominciamo dal servizio, appena sufficiente per una pizzeria: piatti dati in mano, nessuna neppure minimalistica spiegazione, vino mai versato se non all’inizio. Veniamo infine alla cucina. Molti dei piatti erano affetti da grossolani errori: un baccalà mantecato che mancava di morbidezza, una crema di fagioli e seppie dove si sentivano solo i fagioli, il pescato del giorno stracotto, scarola con poco sapore. Solo un risotto è stato apprezzato. Un voto insufficiente anche se i piatti fossero costati la metà. Con quei prezzi, una stella basta ed avanza (per la posizione dentro il mare, ma in fondo come su una qualunque palafitta).
