13/08/2026: We arrived in Castiglioncello and had our first lunch here. I had a great time; the lady with short blonde hair made us feel at home. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with warm focaccia and cold water. Traditional dishes, fresh fish, and even my vegetarian requests were accommodated. When I return to Castiglioncello, this will definitely be one of the places I'll be back for.

11/08/2026: A wonderful discovery. The welcome and service were very pleasant. They made a great effort to communicate in French! The portions were small but the food was delicious. Beautiful sea view. The only slight disappointment was the desserts.

11/04/2026: Very nice food, lots to choose from. Waitress was very good as our italian is very limited but she understood what we wanted to order. Seems like a lot of locals eat here and everyone is very friendly. Would highly recommend eating/drinking here 👌

05/08/2026: Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant fell far short of my expectations. I was craving a good Spanish dinner, but the reality was a huge disappointment from start to finish. Here are the main problems that ruined the dinner: The Tapas: Almost all of them were of terrible quality. They were poorly prepared, some were overly salty, at times inedible and overpowering every other flavor, others were tasteless, and the "spicy" potatoes tasted exclusively of tomato, while the shrimp and octopus were extremely poor quality and tasteless. The only positive note was the garlic mayonnaise. The Paella: What should have been the highlight of the menu turned out to be a disaster. The dish tasted exclusively of peppers, a flavor so strong and invasive that it completely overpowered the rest of the ingredients. The Fish: The seafood in the paella was clearly of poor quality, rubbery, and flavorless. The Sangria got boring after a while because it was marinated with too much lime and tasted almost exclusively of that, and it was very diluted. I'm sorry to have to leave such a review, but I won't be returning. Absolutely not recommended.

08/07/2026: Small but very nice atmosphere. Excellent tapas, including off-menu options. Very good paella. Very friendly staff, generous with recommendations.

21/06/2026: Pretty disappointing. Food was pretty good, but service was aloof and poor overall. Bread was worst we had in Italy. I wouldn't come back.

19/06/2026: Fine, authentic cuisine! Finally, not pizza or run-of-the-mill pasta, but regional, traditional, and expertly prepared dishes. The eel was superb. Prices very reasonable. Friendly service.

02/12/2025: We went to the Testina restaurant and had a truly wonderful meal. Ivan, the owner, immediately makes you feel at ease thanks to his friendliness and the passion he puts into his work. The quality of the fish is excellent, and the meticulous selection of ingredients is evident. The dishes are highly refined, both in their preparation and flavor, meticulously crafted and truly surprising. Impeccable service, a pleasant atmosphere, and high-quality cuisine: a restaurant we'll definitely return to. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

24/11/2025: Everything at Testina exudes a love of produce and a passion for gastronomy. The dishes are a balance of colors, aromas, and flavors, bold yet perfectly harmonious. The service is attentive yet welcoming, and the restaurant is intimate and meticulously maintained. An experience definitely worth repeating.

18/08/2026: We'd been there about 10 years ago, and remembering the spectacular fish soup, we booked well in advance to avoid missing out, and considering we'd only be on the island for a few days. This time we tried the shellfish soup, and I can't say anything other than fantastic! Unfortunately, we rarely come to Elba, but next time I'll book with them well in advance to avoid missing out!

01/08/2026: Zero stars would be appropriate. I was ignored for 20 minutes. I looked at the table several times, but was still ignored.

25/07/2026: There were two of us, and they seated us right away. They pleasantly explained the off-menu dishes and the catch of the day, which we then decided to order: a beautiful 1,200g sea bream. The service was a bit lacking here; we had to ask to see it, and they kindly obliged. We waited half an hour, but the waiters had warned us it would take a while to cook. Then they came to the table with two plates already composed of filleted sea bream and vegetables, and here we were a little disappointed, because we expected them to fillet it in front of us, since we were supposed to see it cooked. It wasn't bad; in fact, you could tell it was cooked just right and really fresh, and that's where the compliments for the quality and cooking really come in.

20/05/2026: Great pizza - it was recommended by a local and we were not disappointed! Staff were very welcoming to tourists and service was efficient.

16/05/2026: Truly excellent pizza. The staff was friendly, and to top it off, the Captain's cigar, an original and delicious dessert.

23/07/2026: The food is regional and really good, the service was quick and friendly.

08/07/2026: I had an aperitif with my colleagues. We had a starter and a generous selection of appetizers, rounded out with a trio of desserts. We had a great time.

07/08/2026: When you eat at Rendez-Vous, you know you'll eat well; not because it's renowned or because everyone talks about it, but because the food is truly good. The menu undergoes small changes from year to year, but the signature dish is the grilled fish. A winning bet every time. The original recipe that makes it so delicious is unknown, but perhaps it's the secret itself that makes it so good. The service is impeccable; your glass is never empty, and the wait between courses is long enough for a chat with your fellow diners. And then... shall we talk about the sunset?

01/08/2026: Very nice restaurant on the Marciana harbor, spectacular views, and very good food. Fresh, high-quality fish, generous portions. Very light fried food.

26/07/2026: The only redeeming feature is the view, the sunset over the sea. The location is very basic and neglected inside. For four mini bruschettas (dry bread, canned tuna) and two 33cl beers, it costs a whopping €24... Which, for goodness' sake, is fine for the view, but not for the rest...

22/07/2026: The photo spot was absolutely stunning! Unfortunately, the pizza oven was broken and the arancini were only moderately impressive for the price. The ambiance and view were fantastic!!
