21/09/2025: The appetizers and first courses were delicious, congratulations! Excellent flavors!

06/09/2025: I've been going to this place for thirty years, when it wasn't a pizzeria yet, but a bar, and before that, a taproom. Now run by the grandparents' daughter and granddaughter, it's changed: appearance; type of place; and clientele. The pizza (which I get to go) is very good; I've been for dinner a couple of times and had a great time. Overall, a good place to eat well, without too many pretensions, at a fair price.

08/09/2025: A simple little snack bar with a lot of heart. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was sensational. We tried lots of different things and everything was worth it. Perfect for fish lovers. Thank you for this great restaurant!

28/09/2025: We came here on the first day of our holiday which was so lucky as it meant we could return. The bread you’re given on arrival is out of this world. We had an amazing time, everyone felt comfortable and there were plenty of options for everyone. Our favourites were the gnocchi with courgette and scampi, and the Sea Bass. Thank you to the wonderful staff who helped make our visits so memorable. We will return again one day 🥰

18/10/2025: The ideal place to go for lunch on a sunny day is outside. Cliff is located on the Marina di Pisa promenade, so lunch with a sea view is a must. On Sundays, the promenade is closed to traffic, but there are tables on the sidewalk the rest of the time. The seafood carbonara is highly recommended, and the pizza (which is also served at lunch) is very good.

18/10/2025: Very obliging staff. Nice position opposite the promenade. We ate outside. Service was good. Both our main fish courses were excellent. A lovely fish lunch.

11/10/2025: Excellent pizza. The crust is crumbly and easily digestible. Their homemade desserts are truly delicious.

02/10/2025: A good restaurant-pizzeria; we went with friends who frequent it often. The portions are generous, though the appetizers are less so. Overall, the quality is good. The ambiance is especially noteworthy, with a focus on Florentine traditions, particularly historic football. Fair prices and fast service. I'll definitely be back.

20/09/2025: We recently spent our vacation at the La Bussola Beach Hotel. - Our room „Giglio“ was perfect for our family. It was very clean and comfortable. We felt right at home and could relax well after a long day at the beach or trips. - The beach is perfect! Clean, quiet, and with a beautiful view. We relaxed on the beach and enjoyed the sun. - The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We always felt well taken care of and could rely on the staff whenever we needed assistance. - The mini golf course was a bit in need of maintenance, but we still had a good time. It was a nice pastime for us. We didn’t use the golf area where guests mainly spend their time. In general, we felt very comfortable at the La Bussola Beach Hotel. The cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, and the perfect beach location were all highlights for us. We can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and would book it again in a heartbeat.

17/09/2025: A small room that, in its own way, will allow you to experience a truly relaxing holiday. Waking up to the sound of the waves, opening the door and being transported by the scent of croissants. Those two steps, literally, that are needed to reach the beach and be greeted by a super lifeguard who is always available. The entire staff deserves praise for their courtesy, respect, and that extra touch that makes you feel at home (and for the cleaning ladies, only applause). The rest is just details: beautiful sea, absolute peace, excellent food. I think it's the first time, in a long series. See you next year!!

07/10/2025: We were there early on a Sunday afternoon, around 12 p.m. Perhaps too early, because the pizza was good, but unfortunately not crispy, rather soft. Perhaps the oven just wasn't quite ready yet. Otherwise, it was very good. Beautiful place, clean, with traditional decor. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They take great care of their customers.

05/10/2025: Great restaurant just away from the main centre, mostly filled with locals. Great service (a special mention to Sebastiano, who remembered us when we went the second and third times). There were no problems with sharing meals and good value for money!

15/09/2025: A pair of brothers who are growing day by day. A cuisine with a solid foundation in classic cuisine, reinterpreted by young but expert hands. In my opinion, the third best restaurant in Livorno. Congratulations, guys, don't change!!!

29/09/2025: The best pizza I've ever had. After finishing the first one, I ordered the same pizza a second time. Better than NY, Chicago and anywhere else in Italy. We've eaten at a lot of pizza spots in Italy with glowing reviews, this was miles better than any of them. Thinner crust, perfect crisp with amazing flavour. Try it. It's damn good. We got the Maremma 'Mpestata pizza... Twice.

18/09/2025: We had specifically reserved a table and were then asked to wait. After half an hour, I said in English, "We've been waiting for half an hour, how long will it be?" The waitress then said, "Too long!" She turned around and left, ignoring me. We waited a little longer and then left.

10/10/2025: We wanted a non-alcoholic beer which was unfortunately sold out but we were very friendly

20/09/2025: The best pizza restaurant on the island, hands down! Delicious, fresh, and tasty pizzas and fish, cooked with love and passion! Extremely friendly service and fair prices. The same loyal customers have been here for years, a lovely, friendly family!

03/10/2025: It's a shame we came on a windy day, which meant we couldn't have lunch on the terrace overlooking the harbor. The inside dining room is small and unremarkable. I had a grilled fish dish, and that definitely deserves four stars. The staff is young.

11/09/2025: A safe haven for those seeking the authentic flavors of the sea. The harbor air caresses the terrace, offering a picturesque view, although the proximity of the road occasionally breaks the spell. The cuisine, however, immediately restores peace: it is a well-orchestrated symphony of flavors, with raw ingredients that speak volumes and never disappoint. The first courses, in particular, are an ode to the sea, with an honorable mention for the spaghetti allo scoglio, capable of convincing even the most discerning palates. The service proved efficient and punctual, a well-oiled machine; some of my guests noticed a certain rush, wishing for a smile, but the speed was undeniable. The bill proved fair, the right price for an experience that, despite minor logistical hiccups, leaves a tasty memory and the desire to return.

04/10/2025: Patrizia and I had dinner at Piropo. We loved the place. The staff was courteous and attentive. We decided to order two pizzas. I must say the pizza I had tonight was truly special. Perfect dough, cooked just right. The mozzarella and other ingredients in my 4 Seasons pizza were plentiful and of high quality. The draft beer was also good. A place where we can talk, without the loud music. We'll be back for lunch or dinner to enjoy one of the many first and second courses on their menu. Piropo is definitely a place worth trying.

05/10/2025: I'm Sara Bernardini, Sunday the 5th, which is today, we all went together, a great meal, Ciglieri restaurant, excellent atmosphere, quick service, excellent food, the waitress was smiling, very nice, even what was at the cash register, Ciglieri restaurant is an excellent restaurant and we'll be back, a great meal, we were divine.

21/09/2025: Disappointing Restaurant Experience We dined at this restaurant and had notified us well in advance, three times, that two of our guests were vegetarian. However, once seated, we were told they hadn't been notified and that the kitchen wasn't equipped to offer suitable vegetarian options, other than two dishes from the menu that needed to be adapted. (Egg with truffle and gnocchi with burrata and truffle) The portion of pasta we ordered was minimal, and the wait for our dish was extremely long. We also ordered a plate of fried vegetables, the only vegetarian option among the main courses, but despite three attempts, the restaurant couldn't prepare it. The evening was a complete disaster: we arrived at 8:30 PM and left at 11:00 PM after having eaten only one dish each, so that's the waiting time for a dish to be cooked—practically a case of kidnapping. Only one person at the table was able to order a first and second course, while the vegetables for the other vegetarian guests never arrived. The only other course consumed were desserts. My companion had to eat two desserts to satisfy his hunger. The service was clearly inefficient, and the wait was biblical. The dishes were decidedly expensive and of mediocre quality, so they didn't justify such a wait, and there was no flexibility in accommodating customer requests. The restaurant doesn't have many tables, and that evening there were eight more tables to serve, making the management of the evening even more unacceptable. In short, the experience was extremely disappointing, and I strongly advise against this restaurant due to its lack of organization and lack of attention to customer needs.
