25/07/2025: We stopped by for dinner a week ago, flying over from Palermo airport. It's a lovely, quaint, and quiet place. I've never had such good panelle, and the pizza was also very popular. The fish was also very good, with generous portions! They even offered a delicious local liqueur at the end of the meal! We had such a great time that we came back! The staff was friendly and helpful!

esso è elegante interni rustici ,pavimenti in cotto, mura in pietra ,ed esterni
noi abbiamo cenato all' esterno sul prato curato ed intimo (un po' di musica di sottofondo non sarebbe stata male..)
il cameriere gentile e simpatico , la titolare sorridente e con modi gentili ci ha proposto dei fuori menu' che abbiamo trovato allettante
abbiamo preso antipasti caldi buoni e non unti, 3 piatti di pasta di pesce e 2 pizze
piatti abbondanti e ricchi . tempi d'attesa nella norma
conto giusto
da tornarci e provare altro

19/10/2025: Super fast service, excellent food, and unbeatable value. €35 for 8 appetizers, 3 first courses, and 2 second courses. All portions are small, of course, but it's still very difficult to finish. I highly recommend it. Water and wine are included in the price, as is the sorbet! No coffee or dessert. The atmosphere is very busy, but not to be missed! Also great for small groups.
19/10/2025: The restaurant itself is really excellent with many varieties of fish, and they also serve large portions of food. The place is very beautiful with a blue marble floor and its location facing the sea creates a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are very polite.

03/10/2025: I brought my cousins from Turin who arrived via cruise. We had lunch at the restaurant, an excellent fish-based lunch, and we met Mr. Angelo, a wonderful person.
25/09/2025: We ate at this fish restaurant and it was an excellent experience. The food was fresh and delicious, the portions were fair, and you could have as much bread as you wanted. The server was very friendly and personable. The ambiance right by the sea was particularly lovely. The only criticism is the very unhygienic restrooms, which don't match the otherwise high standards. Overall, though, a highly recommended restaurant for good fish food in a great location.

03/08/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una bella serata in questa trattoria. Proprietari molto simpatici che si sono intrattenuti con noi al tavolo. Buoni sia i primi che i secondi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerò se mi trovo a Palermo sicuramente.

17/10/2025: Be careful when approaching the counter where the pizza maker hands over the pizzas for delivery, the owner might dazzle you or even BITE!
Also be careful trying to help the waiters (not all of them, but some are confused, especially if there is a bit of confusion, in that case the owner might dazzle or bite you too).
The pizza, when the other pizzeria Tusa is closed, is not bad. The service, as long as it's left in the hands of the waiter with glasses (I think his name is Andrea) or the girls, is fine, but on the weekend it's a bit more complicated to receive the correct pizza for takeaway, it happens that in the confusion they give you a wrong pizza.

14/09/2025: A pleasant surprise in a place we'll definitely return to. Overall, I'm satisfied with both the pizzas and the fish. Better than many well-known places that now thrive on their profits. The only thing that could be improved is the service, but nothing serious. Well done.

28/05/2025: Siamo stati guidati dal prezioso Paolo per questa buonissima cena di stasera. La caponata deliziosa è imperdibile, un gusto unico con prodotti locali freschi e ricchi di sapore.
Che dire delle tagliatelle all'ancora, pesce fresco condito con pomodorino.
Ci torneremo presto.
22/05/2025: Bella scoperta vicino al resort domina Zagarella, per alternare ai ristoranti dell’hotel.
Ottimo tartare di tonno, in particolare ma tutto buono.

25/09/2025: It is one of the places in the city where you can eat the freshest and best fish, including the set menu, based on fish, with an excellent quality/price ratio (€25 for starter, first and second course, all very fresh and very good); the chefs are very good at cooking; the limoncello is also very good; the staff is kind and helpful. TO BE RECOMMENDED!!!!
15/09/2025: I went to Salvo's three years ago and I still remember it. Fresh, delicious fish, grilled right in front of you on the street. We had an appetizer, and I jokingly complained to my friends at the table because they had two olives and I only had one. Quietly, Salvo, or whoever, heard me and brought me a bowl full of olives.
5 stars for the olives, thanks Salvo!

02/10/2025: Sea food is so fresh! The best pasta I’ve ever had in Europe! All members of this restaurant are so lovely. Definitely recommend and we’ll come back every time when we are in Sicily.

12/08/2025: Esperienza enogastronomica fantastica nel complesso. Pur non avendo prenotato, con un locale pieno ed una discreta coda all'ingresso, ci hanno fatti accomodare molto presto, rispetto alle mie aspettative, e per di più, nell'attesa ci è stato offerto un prosecco al banco, molto gradito, testimoniando la particolare attenzione che hanno delle persone, viste come ospiti più che clienti.
Le stesse attenzioni le ho riscontrate nella preparazione del cibo, di gran qualità.
Abbiamo mangiato sia pesce (crudo e cotto) che la pizza, affidandoci letteralmente alla gentilezza ed alla competenza del titolare, sempre presente tra i tavoli e d'aiuto al suo altrettanto valido staff.
La carta dei vini è ben fornita ed i prezzi delle bottiglie sono onesti.
Che dire di più, in questa gestione familiare si vede che la ristorazione è una cosa seria, fatta con passione da professionisti che provano a restare "umani" in un mondo di Masterchef.

13/10/2025: This trattoria is located in Mondello's main square, with a charming, rustic feel, typical of seaside towns and villages. In my opinion, it's the most beautiful trattoria and the one where the food is best. The dishes were truly impeccable, delicious, inviting, and uniquely flavorful. The ingredients were extremely fresh. For those who love seafood, lunch or dinner at Piero's is a must.
I highly recommend it.
