13/12/2025: My experience at Trattoria da Piero was unfortunately very negative. From the moment we arrived, we had the impression that the place was neglected: it seemed decidedly dirty, with an atmosphere that conveyed neither care nor attention to detail. The staff, from what I could tell from my visit, also seemed rude and unhelpful, which further impacted the overall quality of the experience. As for the dishes, we were not entirely impressed with the quality of the food: disappointing flavors and poorly presented, far from what we had expected after the recommendation we received from the hotel where we stayed for three days. Based on our personal experience, we cannot recommend this place.

09/12/2025: The food is excellent and the service is friendly. Of course, when it's busy, you might have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. Fresh fish and seafood. We recommend the house specialty, hmm... And so, the mussels. We recommend it.

12/08/2025: Esperienza enogastronomica fantastica nel complesso. Pur non avendo prenotato, con un locale pieno ed una discreta coda all'ingresso, ci hanno fatti accomodare molto presto, rispetto alle mie aspettative, e per di più, nell'attesa ci è stato offerto un prosecco al banco, molto gradito, testimoniando la particolare attenzione che hanno delle persone, viste come ospiti più che clienti. Le stesse attenzioni le ho riscontrate nella preparazione del cibo, di gran qualità. Abbiamo mangiato sia pesce (crudo e cotto) che la pizza, affidandoci letteralmente alla gentilezza ed alla competenza del titolare, sempre presente tra i tavoli e d'aiuto al suo altrettanto valido staff. La carta dei vini è ben fornita ed i prezzi delle bottiglie sono onesti. Che dire di più, in questa gestione familiare si vede che la ristorazione è una cosa seria, fatta con passione da professionisti che provano a restare "umani" in un mondo di Masterchef. Complimenti

So... (calculator in hand)... 137 divided by 3... That's 45.66... ​​Let's make it 46. We paid €46 each by debit card... 1 star!

The restaurant, while retaining a slightly dated appearance, is clean and tidy, and offers the perfect setting for both dinners with friends and family, as well as banquets and events, thanks to the helpful and kind owner—a truly exceptional person, always ready to welcome everyone with a sincere smile. Pizzas are the house specialty, especially the famous pizza al metro: easy to digest, well-leavened, with a soft and light dough, served on a raised board that allows you to enjoy multiple slices at once and share with friends. A genuine experience that combines flavor and conviviality. The service, while not the fastest, remains friendly and attentive. Drinks are bottled only, not on tap, but the quality more than makes up for it. As you leave the restaurant, you're greeted by the scent of the sea and the sound of the waves: a poetic touch that completes the evening and makes you feel, for a moment, part of an authentic and warm place. 22/10/2025: I had excellent swordfish rolls, accompanied by equally excellent grilled vegetables (radicchio, mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes). The gelato was presented in an original way, with a delicate yet delicious flavor. The place was well-kept and clean, including the restrooms. The high attendance on Saturday evening made conversation with other diners difficult, but the staff's efficiency deserves praise, as the wait times were not excessive. Well done!

08/12/2025: Today I ate here with my sister and parents to celebrate my belated birthday, even before the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It was a truly fortunate and fitting choice: truly excellent food, excellent service with truly courteous waiters who make you feel at home, in a restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere, even to the eye. And, another important aspect, very fair prices. Even considering how good the food we ate was, the quality/price ratio is truly remarkable.

25/09/2025: The food is very good... obviously, if you're looking for a "starred" experience, this isn't the place for you... if you want good, fresh food, without too many frills, but with service that makes you feel at home, this is the place. Fair prices; in my experience in this area, it's the only place I've tried where I can say you eat well for little money... everyone has their own tastes... excellent swordfish rolls...

05/11/2025: Expensive and not good value for money. The small portion of fried squid without any sides cost €20, and the small fish of the day with a meager salad for €32, both served cold, were disappointing. The sparkling wine was delicious for €28. Bread and oil were included beforehand. Bottled water was inexpensive. The service charge of €3 per person was acceptable. I cannot recommend the food; perhaps the pizzas are warm and tasty. It was simply too expensive for what you got, and the portions were too small – the fish was served cold. The service was good, and the ambiance was pleasantly Sicilian. The pizza a few streets away was better.

18/10/2025: I came here particularly encouraged by the photos in the guest reviews. I signaled that I wanted such a generous portion of seafood. I got it for €20, a tiny portion. Everyone knows calamari is ridiculously cheap. The flavor was decent, the pizza was good. The atmosphere was inadequate, forcedly bourgeois... I'll leave other things aside...

14/11/2025: You can do more, especially if you ask for advice and don't just choose from the menu. The Mazzara prawns had been in the fridge for a few days, as the crustacean's shell was wrinkled and dull.
