13/08/2024: Terrible. Pasta disaster. I've never eaten a worse calzone in my life. I don't recommend it.

13/08/2024: We ate well, we had the waiter suggest some dishes but since it wasn't on the menu we didn't expect to pay 25 euros per dish, or at least it would have been correct to say so. Very basic environment but very friendly and helpful staff

18/08/2024: We booked a table outside the restaurant directly on the port. Excellent idea. The table was well set and with attention to the smallest details, right for the cover price. The lady in charge of ordering was kind, helpful and responded politely to our questions and requests about the dishes. Even the waitresses supporting the service were kind and smiling. The dishes were good, plentiful and reflected the description received. The bill received normal if you want to eat fresh fish. To be recommended.

15/08/2024: Today for lunch we had lunch at this restaurant: Very shabby location without adequate air conditioning The manager maintained a behavior that was borderline bearable, even though she had good intentions, her temperament left something to be desired and she didn't even notice that several dishes were returned intact. The food was poor, poor quality starters absolutely tasteless cuttlefish ink pasta cooked for at least 20 minutes. Second inedible, the prawns were not fresh and should not even have been offered in my opinion. Very high bill after all...

06/08/2024: I returned to this place after years, I had good memories and luckily this time too they were fantastic, generous portions, fresh fish cooked well, quick to serve and low prices. Highly recommended, 5 well-deserved stars.

02/08/2024: Highly recommended...excellent central location, with the possibility of eating outdoors. We had dinner enjoying a revisited carbonara, a traditional norm, a slice of beef with parmesan rocket and balsamic vinegar glaze, accompanied by an excellent wine from among the wide selections. Adequate portions and high quality...appropriate price. We closed the dinner with an artisanal pistachio truffle... and a delicious orange distillate offered by the owner, very kind, present and attentive in giving the right directions. Even at the beginning of the dinner we enjoyed the tasting of bread and extra virgin olive oil. What can I say... everything was perfect... we will definitely be back. As we said hello we learned the secret of the goodness of the dishes served...the chef is the wife...family management is certainly their strong point...Thank you

31/08/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at the Na Principi restaurant and I was particularly impressed. The service was impeccable, with the staff proving kind, attentive and always available to our requests. The generous portions. The peppered mussels and seafood risotto were perfect. The ingredients were fresh and high quality and the flavor was simply delicious.

21/08/2024: Terrible in every way! We had the unfortunate idea of ​​having dinner at La Mattanza, in the Vergine Maria area, following the advice of a friend. It was clear right away that it would be an evening to forget. The service was nothing short of scandalous: an hour of waiting just to receive the starter, as if the customers' time had no value! The food? A total disaster. Meager portions, poor quality, and prices that border on the absurd for what they offer. But the worst was the owner, a person completely devoid of empathy, who seems to have no interest in the satisfaction of his customers. The staff? Incompetent and not very attentive, as if working there were torture. What can I say, if you want to ruin your evening, La Mattanza is the right place. A restaurant to avoid at all costs. I will never go back there again and I recommend you do the same!

La signora ci ha accolto con calore mettendo a proprio agio i vari commensali pronta ad accontentare le richieste congentilezza e professionalità. Il cibo vario e molto buono ha soddisfatto tutti .È stata una serata veramente piacevole sotto il segno del buon cibo e di una bella atmosfera

25/08/2024: I read with deep amazement some negative reviews. I had dinner last night and I think there are very few places with such attention to detail. Sublime quality both in terms of fresh fish and meat, excellent pizza, excellent service, not to mention the ownership that makes the difference. I would like to underline that the prices are below average as I had a terrible experience in another place paying 40.00 for a white and black. I say with extreme frankness that When I want quality and above all hospitality I believe Torre Alta is it the best choice.

24/07/2024: Abbiamo mangiato diverse sere durante le nostre vacanze e sin dal primo istante abbiamo ricevuto l’accoglienza che ognuno desidera. Ristorante per tutte le tasche, farsi consigliare è stato un piacere e il pescato del giorno è un piacere del palato (….non lamentarsi ma il pesce fresco ha un costo!). Sempre con il sorriso e una soluzione ad ogni situazione, capitanati dalla simpatica proprietaria e dal leader indiscusso della terrazza: Stefano! Ancora grazie per il bel trattamento e le belle cene! Sogniamo di ritornarci! TOP 👍

23/07/2024: Siamo venuti in sicilia per il Buon cibo a costi contenuti ma abbiamo notato che si è un pó standardizzato a livello di prezzi ma non di qualità. Ieri siamo stati in questo ristorante che ha preparato dei primi buonissimi ma un antipasto per 34 euro con 4 cozze e due fette di salmone aaffumicato, insomma, una fame per 34 euro di antipasto. Un conto da 100 euro per due primi e un antipasto e una bottiglia di vino sulla media. Classico locale spenna turisti.

01/11/2023: Très bonne adresse , sur les hauteurs de Cefalu. Vue splendide sur la mer et la ville. Havre de paix sur la terrasse, au calme, avec musique jazzy très discrète. Produits frais et savoureux. Présentation simple et soignée. Prix très raisonnables. Service professionnel: chaleureux et efficace. Café offert. A tester aussi le soir pour profiter des lumières de la ville … Équipe fiable! Merci

24/07/2024: Lovely little restaurant in the heart of Ortigia. Excellent food and service, cannot fault it. Although it was small inside there was a nice atmosphere and there was seating available outside.

18/06/2024: We ordered a large pizza to take away. The woman at the cash register was extremely unfriendly, we've never experienced anything like it before. After we got our pizza, I went in to ask something about the area. Before I could even ask, she spoke very badly about us in Italian, without knowing that we understood the language.

15/06/2024: Food is good, but service awful. Waitresses did not allow us to sit in quiet corner, but at the end put 6 EUR (30% of whole order) service fee into the bill. Actually this was the only time, when we did not like service in Italy and Sicily during our 2 week trip. I do not recommend, there are many other good places nearby.

26/08/2024: Outdoor tables overlooking the sea, very friendly staff, parking for customers. We ate excellent pasta with sardines and truly excellent mixed fried food. We always come back with pleasure.

04/08/2024: Historic place of our youth, we decided to return after many years....but unfortunately beyond the spectacular view there is nothing else... I look at the menu to choose what I would like to eat and I see 48-hour leavening pizza and fior mozzarella of perfect milk I tell myself I choose a nice margherita pizza and my husband a calzone... I get a horrible pseudo pizza both visually and in taste, a carton with tomato and mozzarella probably taken from the discount store, my husband's calzone with some ham that you find on cheap toast already ready 48 hours of leavening only a la carte probably kneaded in the early afternoon... high price for what they offer FAILURE WITH FULL MARKS never again!!!!
