14/03/2025: I had lunch with a raw fish starter, consisting of four small prawns, 2 scampi, 2 oysters and four marinated half anchovies. Clearly the fish was down. A quarter of wine, a bottle of water. I paid €25 Good service and courtesy. Many wonder about the reason for the success of Japanese restaurants, given that they too have reduced products but with decidedly more satisfying quantities. I believe that Sicilian cuisine must stand out for its local products, even if it were 🐟 blue or fresh octopus or given the period pasta with sardines and fennel, and all the local things that can make the difference.

12/03/2025: Cozy and very clean environment and it is one of the few restaurants where the smell of cooking does not remain. The food was genuine, simple but with the true taste of fish. I will return and recommend it to everyone.

09/03/2025: Calamari tasted like rubber and the staff were pests. Overpriced Rubbish. Avoid.

18/03/2025: Let's point out that we were on the terrace (which is à la carte not a fixed menu), which is basically a veranda in fact we found a sunny day and the heat was unbearable then we opened a window a bit of a draft came in and we started to breathe, let's say that going up with the elevator we had guessed the problem. Panoramic view, appetizers, not much seafood and the overcooked shrimp could not be cleaned, the octopus was good, the potato puree was too liquid, salmon croutons were good, even the first courses the pasta with clams because of the broken clams you had that sensation of sand between your teeth (but it wasn't sand), bottles of water from the tap and less than a liter but you pay for it, the wine list very cheap (and I'm not referring to the price of the bottles) the service average. Maybe a little expensive compared to the part below where you eat a fixed menu but there is no view. All in all recommended but without pretensions.

12/02/2025: Going beyond my personal preferences, I recommend everything on the menu: there is nothing that isn't objectively good. Everything excellent, always. Staff and environment alike. Very quiet music, and specifically even at a low volume (personally, being able to talk to those at the table with me is important - but today restaurants often drown out voices with too loud music). Another important thing: the prices are normal for high-end restaurants like this; Nonetheless, the portions are fair and plentiful.

22/11/2024: Arredamento del locale antiquato. Ho scelto la tempura come antipasto, ma era una banale frittura in pastella. Ci propongono e presentano una spigola x 2. Il pesce torna nei nostri 2 piatti in pezzetti in ordine sparso. In un ristorante con un minimo di pretese il maitre torna col pesce cotto, lo pulisce davanti i commensali e depone i filetti INTERI nei piatti. Dessert insignifante.

06/10/2024: Loved it. We stopped there last minute with a group of twelve. Lunch outside was lovely, with the. Waves crashing nearby below us. The views were spectacular. While we loved their seafood, the favorite ordered by most of our travelers was the Spaghetti Carbonara. The service was as great as the food.

29/09/2024: Beautiful roof terrace with a great view of the bay. The service was ok, seemed a bit unmotivated. Maybe because the main season was already over. The pasta was really very good. Unfortunately the sauce was a bit bland/simple. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it.

22/09/2024: Place with panoramic terrace overlooking the port, excellent service (the young waiter is an added value for his empathy and professionalism). I had a fish carbonara (excellent) and a decomposed cannoli (super). Maybe just the price of the high glass of wine....anyway, absolutely recommended!

30/06/2024: It was an unexpectedly quiet restaurant in a beautiful location near Villa Catleya where we stayed. The food was great and the service very nice, the view was fantastic, highly recommended.
