15/08/2026: Davide and Simon were so wonderful and the food was one of the best meals we had in sicily. Specifically the eggplant parmigane, the fish and spaghetti were all super tasty.

19/05/2026: We had the most lovely meal at Il Carretto. The service was so friendly, they were helpful with the menu in explaining the dishes including the specials. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are decent. We had eggplant meatballs for starters which were so tasty. For mains I had the Spaghetti with muscles which had a great amount of muscles and a delicious flavour. We did not have room for dessert but I’d be keen to go back to see what they offer! Highly recommend this restaurant which is in a nice quiet location with beautiful views of the church tower up the alley way.

18/07/2026: Best food and Sicilian wine with the friendliest staff in the coolest well ventilated courtyard in Cefalu amidst an art gallery. We have been coming since 2017 multiple times in our 2 weeks and always look forward to coming back. The only thing I miss this year was the kitties next door who used to venture into the art installation and the olive and palm trees

17/05/2026: Lunch on May 18, 2026, as a couple The restaurant's interior is sleek and elegant. Stone walls and beams, several rooms, a warm welcome, and attentive staff. We opted for the €75 set menu plus two à la carte courses and several glasses of wine. Overall, the cuisine at this restaurant is remarkable. Everything we ordered was delicious and exquisitely refined. This restaurant could easily earn a Michelin star in France. For this level of quality, the price (€170) is more than justified.

14/08/2026: A fantastic evening with the very friendly owner who is available for his delicious dishes, good adviser 🥳 the food was excellent, very good quality, impeccable service, excellent dishes, both from starters and first and second courses 😊 compliments to the staff 10/10 is our vote

14/08/2026: NOT RECOMMENDED. The octopus salad was truly disappointing, drowned in lemon juice and laden with salt, mayonnaise, and pink peppercorns, presumably to mask unpleasant odors. The waiter was slow to serve, quick to clear the dishes, and the room was uncomfortably hot. I've attached a photo of the oil bottle... that anti-refill cap left me a bit skeptical, but be the judge.

11/06/2026: If you get the table at the back you get a great Seaview. The food was incredible. Three very tasty dishes not including the tuna sashimi which hit the mark. All in all a great experience

10/06/2026: The window seat I requested is absolutely stunning but unfortunately the air con blows so hard we had to move to the table on the street - if you do not mind ice cold air blowing in your eyes, you will have the best sunset view of your life there! The staff were attentive to us and while initially it was not possible to move to a less arctic table, the main boss made it possible. We were served promptly until it came to the final bill - in the end we needed to get up to pay despite the restaurant not being busy at all (Monday evening). Now on to the food - absolutely spectacular. The mackerel special was insane. It is not cheap but the quality and flavour is fantastic.

04/06/2026: A lovely restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. The service was impeccable, and even though we were a group of 12, we didn't have to wait at all. To top it all off, the meal was delicious. From fish dishes to pasta and risotto, it was flawless. A place to recommend without hesitation to any friends visiting Cefalù.

10/08/2026: Great restaurant, the food was really tasty. Very good atmosphere, close to the sea, you have a beautiful view. Staff a bit absent, but that was about it. Best restaurant I have eaten at in Sicily so far.
