14/05/2026: I hadn't been to Pizzicotto for dinner in a while and was surprised by how delicious and friendly everyone is. The gluten-free appetizer was well-made, the crispy fries were much appreciated. The staff were very courteous and especially attentive to gluten, with special cutlery brought to our table and a flag indicating the pizza for the intolerant diner... impeccable. I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of pizzas and the combinations of ingredients, and I also noticed generous portions of pasta and mussel appetizers at other tables. The food, staff, and location were excellent. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

13/05/2026: I ate pizza at this restaurant, and aside from the excellent quality of the food, I have to offer my sincerest compliments to the staff, especially the bartender. My husband and I tried their spritz, and it was definitely the best in Palermo. Congratulations!

06/06/2026: The fettuccine with seafood was excellent. Niccola provided great service. They even agreed to prepare grilled sardines for us. Excellent value for money.

05/06/2026: The food was ok, but very overpriced. The sea urchin pasta was 20 euros and only had 4 pieces of sea urchin. The two people who worked here were sitting on the table right next to us and were smoking while being on their phone. It's a family owned restaurant so they were constantly fighting right next to us and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The dad is the only cook there so service was extremely slow, and when we wanted to pay the lady just pointed at the cashier and continued smoking. The waiter gave us attitude and wasn't very friendly either. The food was great, but the service was horrible.

04/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, the dishes are delicious, Sicilian cuisine, a varied and tempting menu. Warm atmosphere, pleasant decor. Friendly service. A great place for a very reasonable price.

02/06/2026: My husband and I chose this restaurant for lunch upon our arrival in Palermo... Excellent selection, carefully prepared and very tasty dishes. Attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. Worth considering.

04/06/2026: I have to say that, as far as the pizza is concerned, it's very good but, in terms of friendliness, they still have to learn a lot, how to treat a customer, more than twice they checked my plate and (the waiter even made a joke about the time I was taking to eat the pizza)

19/05/2026: The pizzas are pretty good. The appetizers aren't bad, but they're a bit heavy, and I expected them to be more flavorful. The service is fast and attentive. The place is well-maintained.

26/12/2025: The menu wasn't updated online. We sat down and found only ready-made pasta sauces displayed at the counter, and a very salty pasta with clams, off-menu. Fresh fish by the kilo? None. Fish meatballs? Purchased pre-made and of poor quality. Swordfish rolls were very dry. The worst thing was that fried calamari, marinated shrimp, and pasta with bottarga were delivered to the table next to ours (all off-menu dishes that no one had informed us about). The only positive note of the lunch was the seafood salad. Never again.

19/05/2026: We just celebrated the first communion of my son, Gioele La Barca, and my nephew, Diego Millunzi. What can I say... everything was TERRIBLE... from the cleanliness to the lunch, to the service. It was the worst reception we've ever attended... I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy, and not just because of the exorbitant price.

19/05/2026: On Sunday 17th May I was invited to two communions by Gioele La Barca and Diego Millunzi. Let's start with the poor waiters, they didn't know what to do, damaged by a nightmare kitchen, from the appetizer to the fruit, or rather the fruit wasn't there, to the lemon sorbet, sorry, there wasn't a second course, they served us a slice of unknown fish with very thin potatoes on top that tasted like a rip-off. 2 miserable prawns, then a saffron and prawn risotto, overcooked, like glue and with a very fluorescent, super yellow colour, a first course, always with prawns and I don't know what, this one was also overcooked. The appetizer was a squid salad, canned tuna caponata, smoked salmon with mozzarella and an overcooked prawn tempura, it can't be cooked like this, I don't recommend it even to my worst enemy, who failed.

20/04/2026: We had a nice dinner here one evening. We had seafood as an appetizer, pizza and fish. The food was quite good, the atmosphere was modest but pleasant, and the staff was very fun and communicative, and they certainly improved the overall impression. We had a very nice time. Free sweets in the end were also nice bonus!

11/06/2026: If you get the table at the back you get a great Seaview. The food was incredible. Three very tasty dishes not including the tuna sashimi which hit the mark. All in all a great experience

10/06/2026: The window seat I requested is absolutely stunning but unfortunately the air con blows so hard we had to move to the table on the street - if you do not mind ice cold air blowing in your eyes, you will have the best sunset view of your life there! The staff were attentive to us and while initially it was not possible to move to a less arctic table, the main boss made it possible. We were served promptly until it came to the final bill - in the end we needed to get up to pay despite the restaurant not being busy at all (Monday evening). Now on to the food - absolutely spectacular. The mackerel special was insane. It is not cheap but the quality and flavour is fantastic.

02/05/2026: Baglio Himera is a beautiful place. I consider it "Sicilian-style," meaning it respects its Sicilian origins, what makes us Sicilians special. The food is delicious; I had the pasta with pistachios, cream, and shrimp, which you must try here—delicious!—and the fried seafood was even better. The service is good, and the staff is kind and courteous. The atmosphere is beautiful, decorated in Sicilian tradition, well-maintained, and spacious, with plenty of seating. Highly recommended for a birthday party. In short, the place is perfect... highly recommended.

01/06/2026: The worst Chinese delivery meal in my thirty years of experience. Flavorless vegetable noodles with no soy sauce; soy sauce in a separate container, extremely salty and a strange color; overripe fried fruit with blackened banana pieces; French fries (x2) probably fried for lunch or even yesterday; chocolate rabbit bread (x2) completely tasteless with chocolate icing in a separate container from the supermarket; soggy and oil-soaked spring rolls; pineapple chicken without pineapple, with peppers and sweet and sour sauce; steamed dumplings unsightly, but edible; Chinese beer excellent as always. The icing on the cake: the Glovo delivery driver, who was tipped 10%, didn't come up to deliver the food and instead put it in the elevator. The receipt was €38 (acceptable if everything had been really good) and the total cost was €44 by credit card. Given the enthusiastic reviews on the site, I think the special treatment was personally addressed to my family or the reviews are from friends and relatives of the incompetent restaurateur.

23/05/2026: Great service from the server Jericho. He said he's been working since opening, he has a great personality. I came almost everyday, during the ship's drydock in fincantieri. Jericho remember my order all the time without telling him. I will come back here again whenever i come to Palermo. I also want to say thank you to one of the owner family, the lady. She's very nice and say hello to me everytime i come, eventhough she couldn't speak english. Just one comment, some of the waiters, they need to be more friendly to their customers. Other than that, thank you for welcoming me every time i come to visit. Bravo!!
