26/09/2024: Cuidado, la simpática señora te dice que es genial el pescado fresco a la parrilla. 50 euros por un pescado a la parrilla para una persona que habría sido 15 euros en cualquier otro lugar. Nunca más.

07/09/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante prima di ripartire, quindi un pranzo veloce. Nonostante la zona sia molto turistica (spiaggia di isola bella) siamo rimasti soddisfatti sia per la qualità che per il servizio. Da tornarci con più calma per assaggiare di più

31/10/2024: Wir waren hier Ende Oktober zum Mittagessen, zu der Zeit waren nur 3-4 Restaurants überhaupt offen, da dies außerhalb der Saison war. Preise waren ok, d.h. Etwas höher wie für Stromboli üblich ist. Das Essen war gut, auch die Bedienung war gut, auch wenn recht emotionslos. Einzig bitter war die fehlende Reaktion vom Eigentümer beim Reingehen und Verlassen, man wurde vollkommen ignoriert, obwohl zu der Zeit nur 2 Tische belegt waren.

27/10/2024: La pizza Stella di Antonio è superlativa: ben cotta come da richiesta e molto condita. Prezzo modesto per una leccornia simile e il tiramisù al pistacchio di Luciano che dire..speciale! Il tutto accompagnato da una vista mozzafiato. È dura averli accanto e resistere allo sgarro quotidiano 🤪 by Sciara D'amuri

27/03/2025: Piccolo e rettangolare locale che si sviluppa per lungo all’inizio di Taormina, con vista sul mare Camerieri svelti svelti in tutti i sensi. Cibi buoni ma non eccellenti, crudo di pesce buono (vedi foto) purtroppo (come i concorrenti) data la location turistica i prezzi sono alle stelle. La correlazione qualità prezzo, nonostante l’ubicazione, è sufficiente.

14/11/2024: There are no words to comment on my experience at the restaurant. Three times I had dinner at the Carusi's and three times I hit the mark. Fortunately, I consider myself capable of knowing good food and I can confidently say that I have never tasted the scampi and prawn risotto I ate anywhere else. Super.

04/01/2025: Fort Apache per noi è una garanzia. Ci torniamo ogni anno durante la nostra permanenza in Sicilia. Stavolta abbiamo preso il menù di pesce con antipasti e primi. Porzioni abbondanti e rapporto qualità/prezzo insuperabile.

19/12/2024: Stopped for lunch on a busy afternoon and we were shown to a nice table out front. We had a very attentive waiter and thought the food was tasty and fairly priced. Very good house wine served in mid sized pitchers.

28/11/2024: At first it looks like the perfect place, it was full with people (i think because was raining) so we thought to give it a try. We quickly set down and short after we got our order picked. Now the fun goes down the drain, we ordered two glasses of wine - they brought one, took ages to bring the second one. Was hard to get someone’s attention, there were two waiters and the third one that seemed to be the manager, and all of them seemed to be very busy by managing all the tables all three of them at ones. We had a table near the kitchen and could see and hear chefs frustration by having food on the pas waiting too long. We got the starters very late and parmigiana tested microwaved (super hot, scolding hot) , when we asked for some salt and pepper for caprese salad they brought it to us when we almost finished it. After long time when we got our table cleaned we asked for the bill and informed the waiter that we also had ordered mains that we will not have. He brought the bill with mains included, again it took time until someone approached for us to pay. Long story short, the manager said we will have to pay for the mains cause the food is on the pass waiting to be served, tho we didn’t asked to follow up, when we tried to explain ourselves the other waiter interfered and made a show by saying that she will pay the rest from her salary, many times repeating herself out loud in the middle of the restaurant. They’ve changed the bill and now they were avoiding us so we just left the money on the table and got out.

18/12/2024: Ristorante famoso sull’isola. Tipologia di locale che può deludere moltissimo o confermare (al più) la reputazione guadagnata negli anni. In questo caso si è dimostrato una certezza. Ambiente estivo molto bello e curato caratterizzato da un tripudio di colori e di tipiche ceramiche del sud. Una traboccante tavolozza di colori: il giallo intenso dei limoni (presenti ovunque), il blu del mare, le sfumature rosse dei fiori e della terra trasfusi nei piatti tutta pieni di estate isolana. Pietanze gustose e ottima varietà.

05/10/2024: Local é muito bonito e agradável, mas o serviço e a comida deixam muito a desejar. O chef mal humorado e mal educado! Não tínhamos acabado de comer e começaram a limpar e colocar as cadeiras em cima da mesa para fechar.

31/10/2024: Besuch Ende Oktober zum Abendessen, außerhalb der Saison, daher waren wir die einzigen Gäste am Abend. Wir konnten uns jeden Platz aussuchen und das ganze Personsal war nur für uns da. Essen war gut, Preise fix - 20€ primi, 25€ secondi, Flasche Wein 25-28€. Können wir gut empfehlen.

27/02/2025: Tienes que salir de la calle principal para encontrar las cosas emocionantes en Taormina y lo hicimos. Giramos a la izquierda, por una de esas pequeñas calles laterales y nos encontramos con un excelente restaurante - no hay mucho que mirar en las primeras apariciones, pero no se deje engañar. Comida magnífica. Excelente vino. Fabuloso servicio atento. Una verdadera muestra de dónde estábamos. Y me encantó el hecho de que después de nuestra impresionante pasta, nos preguntaron qué queríamos para nuestro plato principal. No podíamos encajar más. ¡Qué pena!

22/12/2024: Scelto a caso tra i tanti ristoranti di Taormina in una gelida serata pre natalizia, entriamo e sentiamo subito un piacevolissimo tepore. Il cibo ottimo, l'agnello sublime e gentilezza del personale che non manca. Prezzi più che buoni per essere in centro a Taormina. Da rivisitare in estate per godere della vista. Consigliato.

18/10/2024: Beautifully located... that was the only quality. For example, mushrooms overcooked into porridge in ready-made sauce, soggy noodles and tiny portions at unreasonably high prices. Not only did the taste taste bland and downright bland, it was shameful for supposedly Italian cuisine. It's a tourist trap.

18/10/2024: Food and atmosphere were great. Gentlemen serving, was unattentive. Very short pours when ordering wine by the glass.

13/04/2025: Located in the heart of Castel di Tusa, in a paradisiacal setting of peace and silence, at the restaurant you can find the true taste of the sea, with the freshness of local fish cooked in an excellent way, fried or grilled.

13/04/2025: We were charmed by the beautiful location, right next to the sea, during a walk and decided to return for dinner. The hostess was extremely friendly and served us with warm hospitality. The bruschetta and primi were delicious (the pasta alle vongole, for example, was packed with flavour) and the portions were also large, as we had difficulty finishing the main courses. All in all, definitely recommended to visit!

21/09/2024: Terrible experience! Disorganized and inefficient staff! We asked about the menu and the waiters couldn't answer. When we asked to know the contents of the rolls, a waiter replied that the kitchen didn't know how they were made because they buy them pre-made. We waited for dessert and after 15 minutes, just because we asked, we were told that the requested desserts were not available. Overall the food and especially the pizzas were average.

09/09/2024: The place has always been the same for years and years, in fact it is losing its charm. There is nothing for the children who get bored as a result. The prices of the pizzas are fair, everything else is very expensive, a family can no longer go to a pizzeria, 4 people almost 70 euros, the desserts are expensive and tiny, the pizza is decent, the mozzarella never comes off if you bite a slice, and you take it all so the rest of the slice is empty. Floor-length tablecloths wrap around your legs and are very annoying. I'm sorry I wouldn't go back.

07/10/2024: Really, really good food! Incredibly nice operators. The service was outstanding and the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. Located very charmingly in a small alley right on the water. Would like to give 7 stars!
