17/12/2024: We stayed in Giarre 3 nights and Novecento was the best dinner by far. It's a 20-minute walk from the center of town to the restaurant, but well worth it. Novecento is in a century-old house; the dining area is on the first floor, where the bedrooms once were. The design is elegant but welcoming. And the food was delightful! One of us is vegetarian and was not disappointed by the menu. The other is an omnivore and so was delighted by the unique local dishes - not the same 5 offerings that most restaurants prepare. The appetizer for one would have been more than enough for two, but of course we couldn't resist, a primo for the vegetarian and a secondo for the omnivore.

04/11/2024: Mi è stato consigliato questo ristorante, e ne è valsa veramente la pena, super affascinante questo locale, tante stanze con affreschi sui tetti che sembrerebbero antichi . Locale molto calmo . Con camerieri molto all'altezza, sempre presenti e gentili. La pizza veramente buona. Bravi.

11/09/2024: The place has a particular imprint, first of all, it has a reserved appearance, given that despite being in a building overlooking the sea, very close to the cliff of Torre Archirafi, it has a secluded terrace, distinct from the street. It has a pleasant atmosphere, not dazzling lights, but soft, rustic chic furnishings, with many references to the seaside place where we are, such as beautiful ceramics, woven wicker lamps like the "pots" that fishermen put in sea ​​for fishing, picturesque trees that provide shade during the day. The drink I drank was delicious accompanied by the usual pretzels etc., I can't comment on the food, because I haven't tried it. The room on the ground floor is spacious and on the upper floor I know that there are also rooms for any guests.

22/07/2024: I tried this restaurant with a group of friends, but it wasn't a positive experience. Waiting for more than an hour and a half for the food, we got some pinsas and some sandwiches but the dough of both had risen badly and was heated, as if it wasn't produced by them. The ingredients are not very fresh and the fries burnt and greasy in oil. Not excellent cocktails. Exaggerated price for the quality of the food and the limited choice of certain dishes. Too bad for the very suggestive and relaxing location to spend a nice evening together, but completely ruined by the service. In short, an experience not to be repeated a second time, total disorganization to be restored if you want to carry on an activity of this kind.

Servizio scadente è dir poco. Sconsigliato.

03/01/2025: Ristorante a conduzione familiare esemplare. Abbiamo prenotato il giorno precedente a capodanno e ci hanno comunque accolto, menù fisso di pesce semplice ma curato nei dettagli e fatto con amore. Complimenti al giovane chef che ha dimostrato di avere occhio e di essere attento al timing fondamentale la notte di capodanno. Complimenti a tutta la famiglia che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. A presto!

10/03/2025: Restaurant looks like huge chaos but can be interesting. Bread was old and rubbery. Service is not as friendly as I would expect. About food. Salat wasn’t fresh and with bitterness in the taste. Portions of seafood were quite small. Was not bad, but not worthy 20€. First day in Sicily and very disappointing. Last but not least. Way how the owner of restaurant is discussing with clients, shows that this business should be closed forever. And for your notice “mr owner” - I have traveled many places. I have always looked for local restaurants not for tourists and I was never that disappointed as here. You are all on this restaurant obviously pointless and cheating on quality of products.

09/03/2025: If you are looking for an authentic culinary experience, this restaurant will unfortunately not meet your expectations. Although the atmosphere of the place is pleasant, both the quality of the food and the service leave much to be desired. The bread served was stale, the lettuce was wilted, and the grilled fish was of uneven quality, partly rubbery. The best part of the meal was the fries, which were hard to mess up. An additional disappointment was the attitude of the owner, who cannot accept constructive criticism and believes that everything is fine. Unfortunately, it is not. If you want real, local cuisine, it is better to look for a place recommended by locals. Unfortunately, there is an attitude towards tourists and cooking "for everyone", which affects the quality of the dishes served. I don't recommend it.
