03/06/2025: Non-existent service, 12 waiters wandering around the terrace playing with each other and entertaining themselves with jokes and laughter. They don't raise their heads and don't look at the diners. Average food, the plate where they cook the meat has literally charred half of the dishes. Popular prices.

17/12/2024: We stayed in Giarre 3 nights and Novecento was the best dinner by far. It's a 20-minute walk from the center of town to the restaurant, but well worth it. Novecento is in a century-old house; the dining area is on the first floor, where the bedrooms once were. The design is elegant but welcoming. And the food was delightful! One of us is vegetarian and was not disappointed by the menu. The other is an omnivore and so was delighted by the unique local dishes - not the same 5 offerings that most restaurants prepare. The appetizer for one would have been more than enough for two, but of course we couldn't resist, a primo for the vegetarian and a secondo for the omnivore.

02/04/2025: Centraal gelegen restaurant met zeer vriendelijke bediening en zeer betaalbare gerechten en wijnen. We waren aanvankelijk de enige gasten in het restaurant en vonden het een beetje fris. Direct werd er een heater aangezet. Top gastvriendelijkheid. Pasta norma, het kalfsvlees en de nagerechten waren prima op smaak. Bij het nagerecht kregen we een glaasje dessertwijn van het huis aangeboden. Heerlijke avond gehad.

Abbiamo prenotato il giorno precedente a capodanno e ci hanno comunque accolto, menù fisso di pesce semplice ma curato nei dettagli e fatto con amore. Complimenti al giovane chef che ha dimostrato di avere occhio e di essere attento al timing fondamentale la notte di capodanno. Complimenti a tutta la famiglia che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. A presto!

06/05/2025: Very nice beach and very clean, the food is very good. Waiters could be a bit friendlier. I'm also not sure if we were cheated on the price of the water: we had spaghetti with seafood and a pizza totaling €32 and then a large still water, which is usually not expensive in Italy, which cost €38.50. That means €6.50 for the water. But it can be rather unusual. I wasn't shown the bill.

10/05/2025: A big thank you to the lady behind the bar who served yesterday 9/5/2025. The lady was very nice and helpful, we wanted to buy drinks and food on the way from the beach but unfortunately we didn't notice the sign that they only take cash, so I only had one panini and the lady gave us 2, she saved our day. I hope that we will come back here with another vacation and we will be able to return it all. Thanks a thousand. The panini was great

05/06/2025: I will not return. I ask for a wine from the menu, they tell me there is none. Okay, it can happen. The mixed fish fry was good, but they served me the second course when I had not yet finished my plate. The restaurant was almost empty and therefore this attitude is not acceptable. A mixed grill quite sad, I notice that the prawns are not cleaned properly. Too bad because the location is priceless and with a little more attention you could make not only the unwary tourist happy, but also an auttoton... I hope you improve!

26/04/2025: You can already read it in other reviews...as a tourist you are really not welcome here and we eat better in every Italian restaurant in Switzerland and at the same prices! But the bizarre decorations seem authentic. Nevertheless, we do not recommend it because hospitality is very important to us.

25/05/2025: The price is good but thats not the only one we wanted. Sadly the stuff is very arrogant and unfriendly , thats why 1/5 stars the most. The place is to loud 😳 ppl screaming like they are on streets I saw a lot of peiple leaving food on their plates and i was the one who should pay for a little food that my kid left (just bcs I‘m a visitor pff).
