27/03/2024: Quality and location come at a price. The food is good and the place is nice, with a nice view even if during the day, outdoors, you have the feeling of being a bit too much in the middle of the street.
26/03/2024: I returned to Aci Castello after many years and thought that the La bettola restaurant had closed, but with great pleasure I learned that it had moved to Piazza Castello. A splendid setting in which to enjoy the chef's dishes. The various and tasty appetizers are good, not to mention the first courses and to finish, a fresh fry, the icing on the cake. And speaking of cake, you can end the meal with a dessert or a lemon sorbet and as George says..... What else?

Bonus points because they love dogs and I allow them to be brought into the restaurant.
03/03/2024: My god, the bad faith of the manager in the comments' responses! Assume your responsibilities and take care to take all these criticisms to improve yourself.
I'm sorry but I fell at the same time and we came across this adorable family with their smiling and wise children (despite the lies of the manager) We also found ingredients (hair) in our dishes, surely the wind passing through the kitchen lol
Coming from so far away, visited this magnificent country among many others but if you come across this bistro, move on! To the wise....

11/11/2023: Unfortunately I can't give a positive opinion on the food... mostly frozen fish... cold on the plate.
The waiters served without particular attention ...... however kind.

09/11/2023: Se non hai possibilità di spostarti in auto dalla zona, in questo periodo resta l’unica opzione decente. Ritengo che poco lontano ci siano tante altre opzioni con rapporto qualità/prezzo decisamente migliori. E’ stata un’esperienza sterile, ho semplicemente placato la mia fame con pietanze dal gusto indefinito. Se poi aggiungiamo che per quanto ho pagato, ho cenato su un tavolino apparecchiato con tovaglioli di carta etc, nemmeno questo piacere è stato appagato. Nel complesso, se non hai alternative valide, per una cena senza pretese può essere valutato.

28/07/2023: quest'anno, ci siamo tornati per la terza volta consecutiva. Ospitalità e gentilezza regnano sovrane, pulizia della camera effettuata tutti i giorni, colazione e cena buonissime, piscina molto carina con piccola area relax... per completare la simpatia e la disponibilità dello staff. Lo consigliamo vivamente... specialmente, per chi come noi, vive all'estero... vi sentirete a casa ❤️
