01/06/2025: Fixed menu with tasting courses, extremely poor, but at full price

19/04/2025: We had lunch in this restaurant while we were on a trip to Cape Milazzo and it was a pleasant discovery. The food was excellent, the view from the spectacular veranda, the table service done by Francesco was precise and punctual and finally the owner Pietro was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

10/06/2025: The service is a bit lost at times, but that's what makes them so nice🙂 Fritto di mare is delicious. Vito di casa too. And to finish, cannolo. At first I thought it was too big. But no!!! So tasty, finger-licking good😄

09/06/2025: Great food and a wonderful atmosphere! We had pasta, ragù, and calamari – everything was delicious, just like at Grandma's house. The price is also great, as it's really affordable. We highly recommend it! :)

17/06/2025: I don't understand this Noemi who left a truly shameful review. I personally found a truly highly qualified restaurant and a service of unique and rare attention, fast and high-class service. Surely the lady will work for some restaurant in the area and is in charge of writing reviews to discredit the honest work of good people.

05/06/2025: Too bad you can't give ZERO stars. Embarrassing, bordering on inconvenience. The worst experience of my life: poor food, endless waits even though we were only 5 tables, waiters who didn't know the table numbers, orders to be canceled by people who got up and left, after 40 minutes the waiters came out with those dishes. I could go on but my common sense tells me to limit myself and advise you to change professions as soon as possible.

08/09/2024: Location carina sul mare come da aspettativa. Servizio pessimo , la cameriera con aria stufa e di sufficienza ci chiede cosa vogliamo ordinare senza proporci i piatti del Giorno o il pesce della giornata che invece vengono proposti agli altri due tavoli che dopo scopriamo essere dei clienti abituali . Ordiniamo le sardine in agrodolce, molte buone e insalata verde . Quella Ci viene servito dell’olio della “casa” in un’oliera a differenza degli altri tavoli a cui viene portato l’olio “buono “ in bottiglietta. Che caduta di stile e maleducazione fare distinzioni tra i clienti !! Credo sia una delle prime regole della ristorazione ed educazione . Mi spiace per la proprietaria molto gentile che però sfortunatamente non ci ha servito !

08/09/2024: Nice location on the sea as expected. Terrible service, the waitress looking fed up and condescending asks us what we want to order without offering us the dishes Giorno or the fish of the day which are instead offered to the other two tables who we later discover are regular customers. We order the sweet and sour sardines, many of which are good, and a green salad. That We are served "house" oil in a cruet unlike the other tables where "good" oil is brought in a bottle. What a lack of style and rudeness to make distinctions between customers!! I believe it is one of the first rules of catering and education. I'm sorry for the very kind owner who unfortunately didn't serve us!

01/06/2025: It's a restaurant where the food, atmosphere, and location are perfect. The polpette is delicious, the waitress Nelida is charming, a real treat, and we had a lovely time on the terrace. I would definitely return.

04/01/2025: Fort Apache per noi è una garanzia. Ci torniamo ogni anno durante la nostra permanenza in Sicilia. Stavolta abbiamo preso il menù di pesce con antipasti e primi. Porzioni abbondanti e rapporto qualità/prezzo insuperabile.

05/06/2025: The food was wonderful and all our requests were met, including a dish that wasn't on the menu. The service was attentive, fast and helpful. The focus was on the waitress, Erica, who was extremely friendly and kind. The restaurant is very well located, on the main avenue and has a very pleasant outdoor area! We loved it and highly recommend it.

29/05/2025: I came here with the Princess cruise. I had the spaghetti with oil and it was good. I added bacon to it, but I wish they would have brought me some red pepper flakes. Also, the servers are not friendly at all. No smiles, they didn’t even come to make sure everything was fine. Too much flirting and touching between the servers. That doesn’t look good. When I return to Sicily, I will definitely not come back here.

20/05/2025: Wenig Qualität für viel Geld. Alles schmeckt gleich nach nichts. Kartoffeln kalt und schwimmen Fett, ein paar lauwarme Zucchini- und Auberginenscheiben als Beilage des Tages um 12 Euro. Die Fischröllchen kommen gänzlich ungewürzt und schmecken nach nichts. Ein echter Reinfall.

01/06/2025: First review in my history, I'm a lazy guy and I don't write reviews. I've never had such a bad time anywhere as at Torquemada, so my experience must be told. An evening to forget. Very ugly place, infernal heat, insufficient air conditioning, this is just to start with. We sit down at 8pm, the mixed fried food arrives at 8:30pm, very badly cooked and together with a few bottles of tap water that tastes terrible. Bottled water only 0.5, why? The menu for the evening had already been decided, after the appetizer, pizzas were to be served in the center, various flavors, chosen by the diners, without a limit on quantity, the so-called "pizza tour". You don't see a pizza before 10:30 pm, two hours after the appetizer, during which we repeatedly urged the staff, almost begged them to bring us some pizza to start eating and satisfy our hunger, putting up with sarcastic and irritated responses from very rude waiters. Zero respect or care for the customer. The pizza was nothing special, badly cooked, the edges inedible, always burnt. Do you want some advice? Go elsewhere, Palermo is full of places where you eat well, managed by people who care about the customer and who respect him.

01/06/2025: Prima recensione nella mia storia, sono un tipo pigro e non faccio recensioni. Non mi sono mai trovato così male da nessun posto come da Torquemada, per cui la mia esperienza va raccontata. Serata da dimenticare. Locale molto brutto, caldo infernale, climatizzazione insufficiente, questo solo per cominciare. Ci accomodiamo alle 20, il fritto misto arriva alle 20.30, cotto molto male ed insieme a qualche bottiglia di acqua di rubinetto dal sapore terribile. L’acqua in bottiglia solo da 0,5, perché? Il menù della serata era già stato stabilito, dopo l’antipasto dovevano essere servite delle pizze al centro, vari gusti, scelti dai commensali, senza un limite di quantità, il cosiddetto “giro pizza”. Non si vede una pizza prima delle 22.30, dopo due ore dall’antipasto, durante le quali abbiamo sollecitato più volte lo staff, quasi pregato di portarci qualche pizza per iniziare a mangiare e placare la fame, sorbendoci risposte sarcastiche e stizzite da camerieri molto scortesi. Zero rispetto o cura del cliente. La pizza non era niente di che, cotta male, i bordi non commestibili, sempre bruciati. Volete un consiglio? Andate altrove, Palermo è piena di posti dove si mangia bene, gestiti da persone che hanno a cuore il cliente e che lo rispettano.

03/06/2025: Absolutely authentic Sicilian cuisine! We were very satisfied, and it was a great evening! Delicious wine, pleasant and friendly service, and hardly any waiting time, even though the restaurant was very busy... Highly recommended; larger groups should definitely make reservations.

26/05/2025: Servicio amable y eficiente. No hacen esperar más de lo justo. La comida un primor. Un cous cous de pece muy sabroso y una pasta a la norma de las mejores que he probado. Además, con vino de garaffa bien rico. Si puedo, repetire. La terraza estaba llena y no me extraña.

19/06/2025: Wonderful experience, the staff were all exceptionally friendly, food was delicious and the prices are fair. We are a family with small children which is not always easy for the waiters, they ware very kind to our rather noisy kids. I can fully recommend this restaurant.

17/06/2025: Ojalá hubiera leído críticas. ¡Deberías evitar particularmente los celíacos! Con todo podía ser sin gluten, pero tenía cero comprensión de la contaminación cruzada. Tenía pizza que estaba empapada y peor que horrible. Mi compañero tenía pasta sin gluten que era igualmente horrible. No se ofrece pan GF. 5 minutos entre servir nuestras respectivas comidas. El personal era hosco. Huelga decir que estaba sobreprecio. Hemos viajado por toda Italia y disfrutamos de buena comida y hospitalidad con bastante buena conciencia de GF. Esta es por un kilómetro y medio la peor experiencia gastronómica que hemos tenido. ¡Deberías evitarlo!

03/06/2025: Un delicioso almuerzo frente al mar en Ristorante el Serafino Tuvimos un almuerzo verdaderamente agradable en Ristorante el Serafino. Todos los platos que probamos fueron excelentes, pero una mención especial va a la bandeja de atún, Pasta alla Norma y la Spigola (lubina) sobresaliente cubierta con mejillones, cada uno era sabroso, fresco y bellamente presentado. El restaurante se encuentra justo al borde del agua, ofreciendo una hermosa vista. Elegimos sentarnos en el interior, que todavía era perfecto - el ambiente veraniego y acogedor hizo que toda la experiencia se sintiera relajada y agradable. Para colmo, cada postre que probamos era algo especial. Está claro que la cocina pone verdadero cuidado en cada parte de la comida. Este es sin duda un lugar que recomendaría a cualquiera que busque un almuerzo memorable y delicioso. Un lugar maravilloso con buena comida, ambiente y hospitalidad.
