I was expecting homemade pesto. It was Barilla-type pesto. Disappointing for a restaurant in a town like Cefalù.

It was fantastic, the food was delicious, the service was super fast, and the atmosphere was great. I'm still raving about the caprese appetizer. 😍 I'd love to come back again.

The prices here are about half of what you’d expect elsewhere, which is definitely a plus. The portions are decent, but the quality of the food doesn’t quite match the expectations set by the menu descriptions. Some of the ingredients mentioned are either missing or used very sparingly. If you’re simply looking for an affordable meal to fill you up, this place works well. We just sat on the terrace and it started to rain. We had tuna tartare for €18 but it wasn't very good. Then swordfish with a little chard and beef tagliata and those dishes were ok. Mostly a weak foursome. One starter, two main courses, two glasses of open wine and two digestifs for €76. A bit too expensive for the quality we got. Cover €6, liqueurs €6 each. The waiter, probably the owner, was kind and nice.

We had delicious spaghetti lime, tagliatelle boscaiola with green apple, redfish (scorfano) with paper-thin potato slices, and medium-rare tuna fillet topped with chopped almonds. Everything was very tasty and definitely not your average, run-of-the-mill meal. We also enjoyed wine from Mount Etna and an orange amaro. Of course, it was more expensive than just pizza, but also much more varied! The restroom is also wheelchair accessible – not something you can take for granted. I was pleasantly surprised in every way. Not a trace of tourist traps!

In Italy, you get a little hungry around 4 pm. You're already missing out if you don't grab a slice of pizza somewhere. We were lucky enough to live right next door and knew each other by sight. We were invited in and enjoyed wonderful appetizers. The wine was good, and the owner and his wife do a fantastic job. I even got to take the recipe for their delicious mussels home with me. Simply wonderful!

09/12/2025: The food was unbeatable. The fish they offered was excellent, as was the tomato salad. The lemon sorbet was exquisite, and the owners were fantastic, always attentive to our requests.
08/12/2025: Excellent local cuisine. Fresh fish cooked to perfection, exquisite salads, delicious pasta, the house white wine is just as good as a bottled one, and the service is excellent. Without a doubt, one of the best places we've eaten in Sicily; the locally sourced products grown by the owners are much appreciated. 100% recommended... a place to eat while enjoying the coast.
