23/09/2024: During my lunch break at work, I had the opportunity to eat a plate of octopus accompanied by a good glass of red wine, the fish was soft and had a good taste, the price is average for the area, slightly high given the portion which is not exactly abundant. Recommended place.

09/09/2024: In the center of Oliveri, this pizza restaurant was an excellent solution for eating a pizza. We sat down and ordered the pizzas which arrived shortly after. The pizzas were good, normal. The staff were courteous, helpful and professional. It is definitely a place I would recommend and will return to if I am in the area.

26/09/2024: Cuidado, la simpática señora te dice que es genial el pescado fresco a la parrilla. 50 euros por un pescado a la parrilla para una persona que habría sido 15 euros en cualquier otro lugar. Nunca más.

07/09/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante prima di ripartire, quindi un pranzo veloce. Nonostante la zona sia molto turistica (spiaggia di isola bella) siamo rimasti soddisfatti sia per la qualità che per il servizio. Da tornarci con più calma per assaggiare di più

24/02/2025: Abbiamo chiamato la scorsa estate su un numero di cellulare per prenotare e Maurizio ci dice che ha cambiato locale, quando arriviamo il personale ci dice che si Maurizio e li ma è un cameriere e che il suo locale è stato chiuso nel 2023. Capisco che sia difficile chiudere un attività dopo tanti anni ma non capisco perché comportarsi in maniera così scorretta. La Forgia non esiste più.

24/02/2025: Hi, as I noticed, season 2024, I'm going to the Vulcano Island on July 13th, calling the Forgia restaurant, telling me that the business would be ready. Chex, hosting me instead, the owner tells me after taking the phone call that the Forgia had moved, but in reality it wasn't like that. He hosted me in another place, calling himself a joke for the customers. Greetings.

26/01/2025: Room with sea view. We ate outside given the wonderful temperature. Excellent fixed menu (€35 per person, not large portions) except for the paccheri too much, but too al dente. Unfortunately the service is faulty, very slow; We waited a good hour between one course and another

30/10/2024: The pasta dish with fish was completely tasteless and fish was not available. Sicilian vegetables completely unseasoned and prepared in a lot of oil. Grilled vegetables have grill marks but are rubbery and firm and unseasoned. Fries soggy inside and made in older oil. Polpo was frozen goods and had a neutral taste. Of course, a lower price wouldn't have helped. We would have loved to have enjoyed a delicious meal

31/10/2024: Wir waren hier Ende Oktober zum Mittagessen, zu der Zeit waren nur 3-4 Restaurants überhaupt offen, da dies außerhalb der Saison war. Preise waren ok, d.h. Etwas höher wie für Stromboli üblich ist. Das Essen war gut, auch die Bedienung war gut, auch wenn recht emotionslos. Einzig bitter war die fehlende Reaktion vom Eigentümer beim Reingehen und Verlassen, man wurde vollkommen ignoriert, obwohl zu der Zeit nur 2 Tische belegt waren.

27/10/2024: La pizza Stella di Antonio è superlativa: ben cotta come da richiesta e molto condita. Prezzo modesto per una leccornia simile e il tiramisù al pistacchio di Luciano che dire..speciale! Il tutto accompagnato da una vista mozzafiato. È dura averli accanto e resistere allo sgarro quotidiano 🤪 by Sciara D'amuri

07/12/2024: Food was decent, however prices are quite high so you would expect at least a decent service and that was NOT the case. One of the waiters (with mustache) was extremely rude and did not care about customer service at all, he did not introduce himself and was very evasive. Disappointing for such a lovely place. Atmosphere was ok but music played from the DJ was too loud making it almost annoying. Wouldn't go back. The food was decent but the prices quite high so we would have expected at least decent service and this was NOT the case. One of the waiters (with a moustache) was extremely rude and did not have the slightest interest in customer service, did not introduce himself (which could also be accepted) and was extremely evasive. All very unpleasant things considering the place. Decent atmosphere but the music played by the DJ was a little too loud in my opinion, almost creating disturbance. I wouldn't go back.

14/10/2024: We had lunch on Sunday, a pleasant setting overlooking the sea, a long wait for the first courses, we chose the dishes of the day convinced they were special, they were supposed to be busiate with fish and cherry tomatoes and instead the busiate were VERY al dente, there were cherry tomatoes but with fish just a little.. a little, the spaghetti with squid ink was in squid ink broth and a few pieces of squid and also hard. The fry (antipastox1) without praise or infamy, I ate identical, including the two red mullet fillets, at the shopping center in Villabate. Total with mineral water and 1/2 wine €67.00. I think we won't be back.

27/03/2025: Piccolo e rettangolare locale che si sviluppa per lungo all’inizio di Taormina, con vista sul mare Camerieri svelti svelti in tutti i sensi. Cibi buoni ma non eccellenti, crudo di pesce buono (vedi foto) purtroppo (come i concorrenti) data la location turistica i prezzi sono alle stelle. La correlazione qualità prezzo, nonostante l’ubicazione, è sufficiente.

12/02/2025: Verre en carton , quantités dans les assiettes réduites, tarifs injustifié , toilettes délabrées et ne ferment pas , aucun coquillage cru , alors que le marché aux poissons touche la terrasse , personnel froid , se fiche totalement des problèmes, je déconseille fortement ce restaurant .

08/02/2025: Pessimo. Carciofi fritti belli da vedere ma immangiabili. Fritti di calmari gommosi e porzioni scarsissime. Pasta cozze e gamberi appena commestibile. Da evitare assolutamente

22/03/2025: A disaster...a 1-hour wait for two overcooked pizzas, not good at all, the worst in all of Sicily. There weren't many people in the restaurant, though. The waiters were rude. In short, run away! Go further...

21/03/2025: I'd prefer 0 stars - the pizza was frozen and simply didn't taste good. After we told the waiter that the pizza wasn't good, he ignored us. I recommend moving on!

14/11/2024: There are no words to comment on my experience at the restaurant. Three times I had dinner at the Carusi's and three times I hit the mark. Fortunately, I consider myself capable of knowing good food and I can confidently say that I have never tasted the scampi and prawn risotto I ate anywhere else. Super.
