21/10/2025: Unfortunately, we were ignored by the waitress in the restaurant, which has never happened to me before. We had to wait 30 minutes before we could place our order. After 1.5 hours, we still didn't have our pizza, so we left.

17/12/2025: I returned after years for an aperitivo (reinforced to the point 😱) Everything was very good, rich and even refined: good cured meats, phenomenal meatballs, caponata that reminded me of my grandmother, slices of bread with primo sale cheese and horse meat strips, pumpkin gnocchi, and those wings🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤. etc etc.... The attention of the two (I think the owners) to ensure we didn't miss anything, the attentive, friendly service.

23/10/2025: Shameful... I was urgently denied access to the bathroom while pregnant. I entered this establishment and politely asked if it was possible to use the bathroom. I was told that access was only for customers, and therefore, a drink was required. I explained that I was in an advanced stage of pregnancy (ninth month, clearly visible), but I was still rudely denied access, arguing that "I'm misinformed" in believing pregnant women have the right to use the bathroom. I would like to clarify that access to the bathroom should not be denied to children, people with disabilities, and pregnant women, precisely because of their particular conditions, which entail urgent physiological needs. This is not a personal favor, but a basic form of respect and civility. While there is no national law explicitly requiring establishments to provide restroom access to non-consumers, refusing access in situations of objective necessity can be considered discriminatory and contrary to minimum standards of hospitality. This is the first place I've encountered such a refusal. Other establishments, even highly frequented ones, have always been understanding and accommodating in similar cases. An attitude like the one encountered today does not do credit to those who manage a public establishment. I hope this report leads to a broader reflection on the sense of social responsibility towards people in special circumstances.

21/09/2025: An insult to Italian food, the worst meal I’ve had in 4 months of travelling through Europe. Extremely overpriced too. Such a shame for such a glorious island.

21/09/2025: The apartment is in an exceptional location, but they didn't have the reservation made two months before. It took a lot of nerves and discussion with the manager The restaurant was a joke, disappointing food, not good at all and very expensive and bad service

28/09/2025: After hours of waiting, they use an inconceivable excuse for a commercial business like "we've run out of water!" And not only are there screams coming from inside, but the dining room is also full of chaos and terrible food. I highly recommend it. If I can give you some advice, try selling souvenirs. Maybe you can do it, but catering isn't for you.

24/10/2025: I give one star because unfortunately you can't give less and now I'll explain why, we sat down with my girlfriend who was there to visit Sciacca and we came across this little place after being told the menu verbally without a price list etc. We chose between two appetizers with a smooth arancini, sweet and sour cod and couscous from arrest and frozen panelle.. Anyway we finished the appetizer and moved on to the first course, pasta with crab which there was only the carcass of crab and then everything else shrimp.. which by the way was supposed to be with crab ragù. My partner, since she doesn't eat fish, ordered a very simple pasta with tomato sauce. Bill? 70 euros

20/10/2025: The below-average ratings are justified! Unfortunately, we realized this too late. Poor, unfriendly service. The food was poorly presented and visually unappealing. The fish was overcooked and oversalted. We had the coffee and grappa to neutralize the sting somewhere else!

23/03/2026: A truly pleasant location with a splendid sea view in the Acireale area. The interior is bright and well-appointed, with an elegant setting thanks to the quality wine cabinet. The seafood specialties are very good: varied and flavorful appetizers, while the first courses are decent. One note: some dishes, such as the peppered mussels, pasta with clams, or tuna tartare, require prior notice at the time of booking, with possible additional charges. The staff is attentive and professional, although service can be a bit slow. Parking is limited, with a maximum of 40 spaces. Overall, it's still a very nice place to try.

04/04/2026: Contrary to other negative reviews we enjoyed a very pleasant evening here. The howner was warm and welcoming. Very friendly as we conversated the best we could with my limited Italian. We were seated near a table occupied by a group of older gentlemen. I'm assuming local friends who are friends of the owner. They also treated us very warmly. We enjoyed some light conversation and laughs while waiting for our dinner to be served. The wait time was not long, something we were not concerned about anyway. We were in no rush and were very comfortable with the Italian slower pace of life. Slow down, don't rush and enjoy the moment. The setting is beautiful in a quaint alley with romantic lighting. Though food, although not the best we had on the island was still quite good. We had no complaints as we enjoyed our meal. The only downside to our experience was like others mentioned that the owner insisted we pay cash, no card. It was a good thing I brought enough cash with me this evening otherwise he would have had no choice but to accept my card as I'm sure the card machine would magically work again if there was no other choice of payment. All in all we did enjoy our visit. The owner was kind, the food was above average and the ambiance was spectacular. A solid choice while in Agrigento.

30/03/2026: We ended up here because the kids were hungry, and all the other restaurants didn't open until later. Unfortunately, we didn't read the reviews beforehand, which I largely agree with. Small, dirty table. Below-average service, but the food was okay. However, 2 out of 5 of us felt unwell the following night.
