30/09/2025: We happened to visit in the morning. The most important thing was the friendly service. The morning breakfast menu was great. It's a typical summer place, but it's still nice enough to eat. It has a beachy vibe.

09/12/2025: Terrible. They don't give you a menu. The only thing you could eat for a starter was pasta with mussels, which was disgusting. Rude and disorganized. They were arguing with each other, and an elderly lady was yelling at the same time. Terrible service. Poorly set table with mismatched glasses. Exorbitant prices for the terrible quality. Absolutely avoid. Cash only.

14/09/2025: A disappointment that hurts, especially when it comes to an institution like La Trizzera. The new management is slowly destroying a historic landmark for Agrigento. A real shame! Sincere praise goes to Mr. Diego and the wait staff, who with professionalism and courtesy tried in every way to apologize for the enormous delay. It's worth noting that many of those present were longtime customers who continue to frequent the restaurant only thanks to the trust placed in Mr. Diego, whom they knew and respected from the "old" and true Trizzera. But unfortunately, there are limits that not even good will can overcome. After waiting two hours without being served, we left without eating anything. The pizzeria is clearly not capable of handling over 400 covers in an acceptable time frame. In these cases, it would be more appropriate to limit entry rather than ruin the experience for everyone. Better to have fewer customers, but well served, than many and disappointed. The staff was visibly mortified. The management? Absent. In certain situations, we need to have the courage to stand up for ourselves, not pass the buck to those on the front lines. In time, I will give the new Trizzera a new chance, hoping that these suggestions will be heeded. Otherwise (unfortunately) I will have lost a point of reference.

09/09/2025: Overall, a terrible experience. The first courses were overcooked, flavorless, and late; the only good thing was the mussel soup. On a positive note, the waiters were there, especially Giulia, who was very kind and assisted us throughout the dinner. They pointed out several things we hadn't ordered without even apologizing for the incident. The owner (who was at the cash register) and (I presume) his wife immediately became annoyed with us because we wanted to split the bill Roman style. Not recommended.

31/08/2025: A friend and I stayed at this hotel the first week of August 2025. We had a great time; the rooms were always clean and tidy, with towels changed daily. The breakfast was varied and complete, including homemade desserts. The staff was friendly and helpful. A heartfelt thank you ❤️ to Luana for her kindness and helpful advice. Hugs!

09/01/2026: Friendly and attentive staff. Located on a charming little square, it had a great atmosphere in the evenings, with Christmas decorations still up when we visited. 🥰 Heating, a covered terrace, and simple, delicious food. I recommend it!

24/10/2025: We had a lovely quiet lunch here during our day exploring Catania. The gentleman serving us was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals (especially the caprese). Would certainly come back if we return to Sicily!

07/10/2025: Me and my 4 sisters attended this restaurant for a birthday lunch, can I start off by saying the restaurant itself is beautiful! The decor is very unique alongside the placement of all the random vintage pieces along the wall magnificent! We ordered a few dishes and the total amount (€160) was extremely affordable we live in London so the price difference for the seafood was great! If you come definitely get the grilled sea-bream it was cooked to perfection, the mussels were very tasty so was the octopus salad! The only downside was the grilled prawns I feel they could have grilled them for longer maybe split them down the middle so they are cleaned better and included more seasonings as they were very bland. Apart from the prawns everything else was amazing the service was excellent and we was even offered lemoncello on the house. I would definitely come back when we are next in Sicily.

16/10/2025: Went there with nine people Paid €181 bill The food was damn bad I could have done better Lousy mussels, filled with stones and sand Pasta not al dente, but rock hard Beef steak was impossible to chew, impossible to swallow, really badly made Service as if they were robots No idea about waiters The chef has no idea about cooking Simply terrible, never again and I advise everyone not to go there. Find something on the main street instead. You won't be happy in this place.

30/09/2025: A lovely, charming restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Delicious pizza, just as it should be, well-leavened, and with delicious combinations, especially the gourmet ones. Try them all.

27/01/2026: The smallest pizzeria in the world (1 table!). Extremely delicious pizza! Super friendly owner – speaks German. Terrace available in the summer! Highly recommended. Best pizza in ages!!! 👍👍👍

05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)

26/01/2026: Terrible experience, considering the kitchen closes at 11 PM and the restaurant closes at midnight. We're a group of colleagues, seven of us, and we arrive at around 9:45 PM. When we arrive, the restaurant is half-empty, the buffet is mostly full of leftovers from the evening, and the sushi is nonexistent. So we decide to ask the sushi man for some sushi, but his response is "we're closing, it's 10:20 PM." So, undeterred, we ask the owner to make us some sushi. They oblige, even though we had to show them the menu of another restaurant, because the sushi man's fantasies had obviously already been put to rest. Terrible service, they rush us to get up at 10:50 PM, and they take everything away while we're eating, not to mention the coffee, which was served to us while we were "eating." The wok is the worst in Southern Italy.

02/02/2026: Business lunch on February 2, 2026. We ate a variety of raw fish, plus a pasta dish with sea urchins, clams, and red shrimp. Everything was delicious. Courtesy and helpful. Highly recommended... we were pampered from the start thanks to the helpfulness of the wait staff.

01/02/2026: We had a truly wonderful time at this restaurant in Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi, in Marina di Ragusa. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism: the staff were attentive, smiling, and always available, truly worthy of praise. We chose the set menu, which included an appetizer, first course, and second course, and were more than satisfied: the freshest fish dishes, carefully cooked and served in generous portions, which is always a pleasure. Each course was tasty and beautifully presented, a sign of a kitchen that works with passion. A very positive experience from every perspective. We left very happy and will definitely be back. Highly recommended for those who love good fish and service that makes you feel at home! 🐟✨
