03/09/2025: Tourist trap! Disappointing food and service. Go to Makari cafe or Azzura, you’ll have better food and a nicer service for a better price! The menu, while extensive, is misleading because what you get served is not as near as what they advertise. Small quantity for Sicily, limited or no real fresh ingredients and already pricy. With smaller portion this makes it even pricier. The staff is rude, not caring, not welcoming and forgets that you are there. They charge twice the coperto too. All in all, avoid this if you can.

12/05/2025: Tante buone aspettative,ma risultati deludenti Sul crudo niente da dire anche se la”pezzatura”del gambero e degli scampi era molto piccola,sui primi stendiamo un velo pietoso. Mi è sempre stato detto che un bravo chef si giudica da come realizza i primi piatti e allora scusandomi per il giudizio pesante,e’ bene che si dedichi a preparare soltanto gli antipasti.

23/08/2025: This is my first time in Sicily, and I wasn't familiar with any beach resorts in Giardini Naxos. I chose this one using the app because it looked nice and, most importantly, not too close to the port. Overall, we had a fantastic 10 days: the umbrellas weren't too crowded together like in other places, the beach was always clean, and above all, the lifeguards were always attentive. The bar was well-run by the owner, and the waiters were very kind and helpful. The sandwiches and paninis, and especially the granitas, were truly delicious. See you next time.

22/08/2025: With a heavy heart, we're leaving this Lido. After 10 days here. A super-organized, super-supervised, super-clean Lido where relaxation is the watchword. If I wanted a coffee, it would be delivered right under my umbrella. The owner is truly kind and always available. A professional in the industry who knows how to perfectly accommodate every customer's request. The prices are even too low for such a high-quality service, in my opinion. And then what can I say about the staff... all helpful and kind. Giovanni, Francesco, and Sergio deserve an extra compliment, as they always welcomed us and all the other guests with a smile. Congratulations again to Lido SAYONARA Beach, which made our holiday even more beautiful. We hope to see you again next year. Marilù Russo and family.

17/06/2025: I have had the pleasure of returning to *Luci e Calici* several times, and each time it has been an excellent experience. The last occasion was particularly special: my son's communion, an important event that we decided to celebrate here... and we couldn't have made a better choice. Refined food, authentic flavors, attentive and warm service: everything is perfect. But what makes this place truly unique is the atmosphere you breathe. The owners have the rare ability to make you feel at home, with discretion, professionalism and sincere kindness. Whether it's a special occasion or a dinner with friends, *Luci e Calici* always manages to leave its mark. A place to return to willingly, every time with the certainty of being welcomed and pampered. Highly recommended!

31/08/2025: Had a wonderful evening at a lovely and cozy restaurant. We ended up here by chance because all the beach bars were closed due to heavy rain. The food was delicious, and everything was very pleasant and cozy.

25/08/2025: To be avoided... Seafood restaurant...."disguised" on the outside as an "old" seafood tavern..in truth nothing special... The dishes served as if they were gold...but in the end the absolute normality in fact the memory that will remain with me will be that of the bill.....very salty... be careful really very salty....for me never again!!

11/12/2024: Otto Geleng realmente merece su estrella Michelin! El servicio fue impecable. La comida era deliciosa, sabrosa, muy bien presentada. Excelente tamaño de porción para una degustación del chef, y el momento perfecto del plato. Maridaje de vinos igualmente fantástico. Recomiendo encarecidamente la experiencia y me encantaría hacerlo de nuevo si volvemos a Taormina.

06/09/2025: We ordered Caponata, Antipasto Siciliano and Hugo Spritz. Food and cocktails were good. But the dessert… we wanted to try traditional Italian Cassata but it was awful. I don’t understand how such disgusting dessert can be served in a restaurant.

06/09/2025: We could have had a great evening! The setting is pleasant with a sea view, and the tables are well-arranged on a comfortable terrace. The service? We felt like we were intruding from the aperitif to dessert. So, the language barrier, fine. But not a word during the entire meal. Not a smile; we felt uncomfortable. It's a shame. We won't be going back, despite the meal being quite good.

23/08/2025: I was only passing through and the gentlemen, I don't know what family they belong to, think that the beach is all theirs without knowing the laws and not knowing that I can stay and if I also want to put my towel, my bag and take a bath, I'm on holiday I want to enjoy my holiday and the gentlemen came to harass me to send me away 😡 from that beach where I didn't want to buy the sunbed because we were only supposed to stay 10 minutes but the gentlemen, thinking that they also own the PUBLIC PROPERTY, wanted to send me away, something truly absurd, 😡

12/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, delicious dishes, meatballs, fish, bruschetta, red shrimp, everything wonderful. Ms. Graziella and her girlfriend are super good and professional. The atmosphere is also very typical and seaside. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful design, splendid color combinations, excellent lounge music in the background, attentive as well as fast room service and very refined cuisine. I think that in Favara it is useless to look for better. Prices a little above the average for the place, but fully justified. Excellent

27/08/2025: The restaurant is a bit old-fashioned, but we had excellent fresh fish, especially the raw purple shrimp and the swordfish carpaccio! The service was attentive and professional, and we were served by Mr. Gaetano.

18/08/2025: As a Sicilian, I leave this review with a heavy heart. Food was OK, not great, not terrible, service was good - with lovely, fun, hardworking professionals. Unfortunately we felt treated as ‘tourists who can be ripped off’, which is a very uneasy feeling. We were not given a menu and were taken an order verbally; OK. There was a menu by the door and we got an idea of the costs of what we were ordering. When we ordered a second bottle of wine, we asked what the cost was and we were told 25€. When we asked for the bill we were told 80€ each for 3 starters, 2 mains (lobster linguine) and 1 dessert - and 2 bottles of wine. It felt pricey, because we had checked the prices before. When we asked to pay by card, we were given a discount to 75€ each (?!) We then asked for a breakdown - as we hadn’t received a bill - and it barely added up to the “discounted” total, including the wine priced at 30€ per bottle (even though we were previously told it was 25€). We were superficial, we are on holiday, we can afford it. Yet, we were disappointed and wouldn’t recommend the place for this reason. Which is a shame, because we are Sicilian, Letojanni is pretty and we had fun. But no tourist should be ripped off for the sake of it! Please avoid this place!
