21/06/2025: Highly recommended!! Very welcoming atmosphere and close to the historic center, very welcoming staff, especially Vincenzo, and the food is local, (I still have the taste in my mouth). I recommend it to everyone, it's worth it!

07/06/2025: They accommodated us inside without a reservation which we appreciated. Most of the staff were so nice and friendly. They have this one guy who is such a douche. Other reviews refer to him as the owner and I refuse to believe that’s true, there’s no way an owner of a restaurant would act like this. He was clearly very stressed but shouldn’t take it out on customers. At one point, he spoke to me so sternly and through gritted teeth, I thought he might start shouting. Other patrons looked alarmed. We should have left at that point but it was late and we ventured all the way over there to visit this specific restaurant so we stayed. Luckily he stayed away after that (probably embarrassed that he crossed the line) and a young waiter looked after us who was so kind and attentive. We don’t speak Italian so we spoke to them in Spanish with Italian words mixed in and we communicated just fine. The food was so tasty. We had spaghetti a la sepia and frutti di mare, both dishes were delicious. We loved it. We thanked the guys behind the fish counter and in the kitchen, they are doing an amazing job. It’s a shame that one person almost ruined the entire experience. Great restaurants close every day so he should really change his attitude.

06/06/2025: I am not writing this review as a customer but as a worker because I worked for 1 month in this place as a dishwasher, a super negative experience, the chef named Luca is a terrible person, he thinks in his own way and if you have a problem he doesn't care, he kicks you out and doesn't want to know anything, so even if you have a fever of 40 or other types of unforeseen events you have to go to work, he is not an understanding person but the opposite and a person who only thinks about himself and at work you can even die, he doesn't care. So if you have to deal with this person, run away because you will have a bad time if you work there. Having said that, I am super happy to have left because in work there must be tranquility and respect which this individual absolutely does not have

11/06/2025: Everything was going very well, appetizers and first courses, until the second course arrived. Ordered a portion of grilled calamari... 1 grilled squid arrived, so the price for this dish becomes unacceptable. Really a shame.

10/06/2025: More than a dinner it is an experience, excellent food, very good appetizers and spaghetti with seafood the best of the best! I will definitely go back, I absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the island of Favignana, you can't miss a dinner at La Bettola!

25/05/2025: "Ancora" una volta siamo stati benissimo, dal ricco antipasto in 7 portate alle linguine alle vongole al fritto misto. Prezzi onesti e grande cortesia. I nipoti proseguono la tradizione di grande ospitalità.

18/05/2025: I called for lunch for 4 seats including two children, the lady asked me inside or outside and I answered the same not knowing that inside it was very small having a stroller, apart from this as soon as we arrived more than one waiter made us sit outside because they were not busy, after which I think it was the owner and she told us no outside there are no seats I will put you inside and from the faces of the boys we understood that it was not true we went in and since he was small I repeated to her if something could be done and put a third boy outside she was about to check outside she immediately stopped him and said no outside. Okay we were sitting inside and I asked for the two seats for the children already asked on the phone and she said no I don't like these seats and referring to the older child she said you sit in the chair since you are big, after this we said goodbye. Nothing to say to the boys but she was very very rude!!!!!!!

12/06/2025: It's highly recommended for celiacs. The gluten-free pizzas were delicious (they cost an extra 3.50). They only have one gluten-free dessert, which is equally delicious. The waiters were very friendly.

23/06/2025: The best food we had on our entire trip to Sicily. The pasta was outstanding, as was the service. The staff was very helpfull and recommended things to try out. If I come back to Sicily I will surely visit again.

22/06/2025: The food(especially the ravioli which is homemade) was very, very good, along with the deserts which furthered our delightful experience.Not to mention Service which was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and I hope to come back when I return to Sicily.

25/04/2025: The location is nice but the service is terrible. We ordered fresh fish with grilled veg and roast potatoes. The vegetables and the potatoes arrived after half an hour from the time the fish was served. Obviously we ate the fish alone cold without the sides. When we complained with the owner he was extremely rude, saying What can I do ? Of course you can do a lot plan better . They had only one waiter and in the kitchen only one chef , tell me how they can manage. Avoid at all cost

20/06/2025: Great potential. Beach bathing 30% active. Lack of a chair for seniors. No foot rinses immediately outside the beach. Sunbeds tilted almost to the ground. Again, great potential

23/05/2025: Sarò schematica perché non serve a molto divagare. -locale vuoto. -ci hanno portato l’olio in bustine monoporzione. In Italia. -ordinato un, citando dal menù, “tonno in panatura di pistacchi”. Con un piatto così non si può sbagliare. Sono arrivati due pezzi di tonno surgelato. Molliccio dentro, abbrustolita la panatura fuori, che non sapeva nè di tonno ne di pistacchio. Tonno surgelato. A Trapani. A Maggio.

12/05/2025: Tante buone aspettative,ma risultati deludenti Sul crudo niente da dire anche se la”pezzatura”del gambero e degli scampi era molto piccola,sui primi stendiamo un velo pietoso. Mi è sempre stato detto che un bravo chef si giudica da come realizza i primi piatti e allora scusandomi per il giudizio pesante,e’ bene che si dedichi a preparare soltanto gli antipasti.

10/05/2025: Locale ben curato buona cucina buon prodotto ma un po caro , per le porzione di pesce mangiato, Il pesce al banco fresco e a buon prezzo , poi quando viene ordinato a la carta il prezzo viene triplicato ,e questo rende il conto.esagerato . Pero consiglio per la qualita

23/06/2025: Very good traditional food and amazing view of the sea. We had a seafood pasta dish with shrimp in a red sauce which was very good. We also had stuffed calamari dish with tomato and eggplant sauce which was very unique and delicious.

26/06/2025: Excellent quality, excellent, fast service, special dishes. The lasagna and spaghetti bolognese were divine. We also had mussels in two flavors and grilled tuna. We will come back here, the food is heavenly. It is not by chance that there is a queue to get in.
