31/08/2025: I visited this restaurant recently and was very pleased with it. The setting is elegant and welcoming, with a pleasant yet slightly rustic atmosphere, making the experience enjoyable and relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive but never intrusive. The menu offers a good variety of dishes, including the excellent pizzas, a well-balanced mix of tradition and creativity. My meal was beautifully plated and prepared with quality ingredients. The flavors were authentic and harmonious. The wait times were also more than reasonable. The prices are in line with the quality, with no surprises. Ultimately, it's a place I'd happily return to and recommend to anyone looking for a well-prepared meal in a pleasant setting.

04/06/2025: An experience that is nothing short of sublime. The place is very elegant and comfortable. Food of exceptional quality. First courses with very original combinations and generous portions. But what makes the difference is the service: friendly and helpful staff that always makes the customer feel at the center. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

29/05/2025: Refined restaurant in an elegant and quiet environment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, the traditional Catania dishes satisfy first the eye and then the palate. The bill is adequate for the quality of the service and the menu. Recommended.

22/03/2025: Great fine dining experience in Termini. I wanted to see the place months before I actually travelled there because I respect their vision and, of course, food looked great in all pictures. They were flexible enough to change my reservation even one hour before, as booking ahead sometimes can come with surprises. When I did manage to eat there, I found two great people, presenting the restaurant and the food in a simple, but meaningful way. Had the degustation menu and 3 wine pairing- food was excellent, all dishes. Some surprising tastes and textures, well balanced food. The wines they chose are the best I drank in Sicily, from Sicily. I recommend it with all my heart.

18/08/2025: TERRIBLE WELCOME RUDE My partner came in first and asked for a table for two (I stayed upstairs with the stroller). After confirming (and after climbing a very steep staircase with the stroller), they very rudely wanted to move us (I imagine the STROLLER (WITH A SLEEPING BABY) RUINED THE VIEW!

02/09/2025: Passing through Milazzo, we went to Macchianera with some local friends. The atmosphere is elegantly minimalist, the waiter is incredibly fast and answers questions about the menu, giving the unpleasant impression of being completely ignorant, and the chef is friendly. The food is excellently presented. The dishes offered were quite varied: the white and blue appetizer was very good, the paccheri with squid was mostly tomato sauce and didn't satisfy me at all, the seafood carbonara was excellent, the Marsala panna cotta was good but a bit too firm, and the wine list was good. Prices are above average. Overall, overrated.

05/07/2025: qualità e quantità del cibo in rapporto al prezzo sembra quasi impensabile. Pesce freschissimo ovviamente. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci. Se siete in zona non potete farvelo sfuggire.

05/09/2025: Beautiful all round. Polpo was stunning, the tuna tartare was lovely and the pasta dishes were so flavorful. Bit of live music from a traveling troupe singing traditional Italian songs added a bit of fun and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

30/08/2025: The pizza has always been one of the best in Palermo, the fried foods are perfect, Di Giovanni-style, the service is super fast, and the prices are rare nowadays. Excellent as always.

26/08/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'd been to this restaurant before and had a wonderful experience: generous, high-quality dishes, fast service, friendly staff, and a truly wonderful owner. For this very reason, I decided to return with friends visiting from the North, confident I'd make a good impression. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed. The portions were much smaller than in the past, and, using the same type of fish, they prepared several appetizers that gave the impression of variety but ultimately ended up being repetitive. The quality of the food seemed more mediocre than expected. The first courses were good, the other overcooked and bland. The price was overall fair for what we ate, but the experience didn't quite match the previous one. I'd like to emphasize, however, that the staff remained as friendly and helpful as ever. I hope this was just an isolated incident, perhaps related to the August period, and that on other occasions the restaurant will return to the quality I remembered.

19/07/2025: Very good food, great service, small family restaurant, generous dishes and good value for money. The only downside is the presentation of the place needs to be improved (server attire and table/chairs). Otherwise, if you're in Catania, go there!
