11/11/2025: Delicious pizza! If you're visiting Malfa, you absolutely have to go here. I especially recommend the pizzas on the specials menu if you can't decide among the others. Fresh ingredients and lots of local variations. And definitely order dessert! It's absolutely worth it. Open on weekends outside of peak season.

10/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, serving incredibly fresh fish for traditional Sicilian first courses. I highly recommend the squid ink tagliolini and pasta with sardines. The waiters are truly kind and helpful.

09/03/2026: Tucked away in a small allay, I found this restaurant while wandering around Siracusa and it’s surprisingly good! I was the first customer (hungry tourist lol） so it’s like “give it a try “ for me. The appetizer came and omg it’s so fresh and good and cooked to perfection. And along the way more and more customers came and I can tell most of them are locals and their old customers, which explains why the food is so authentic and good. All the staff are so warm and friendly as well. Overall a fantastic dining experience! Highly recommended.

22/10/2025: The food was honestly only ok. The lady will fill a tray with random stuff, way too much than you'll actually eat and you need to ask her to remove stuff. Take like €10 worth of stuff off what she proposes (it's done by weight). Octopus is extra beyond this pile of sea creatures. The starters are served cold, which wasn't very nice for me personally. The fish is simply deep fried and is fresh thankfully but quite bland beyond that. The baby squid was not prepared correctly, with bone and ink not removed which was not great. The sardines were nice, shrimp was nice, anchovies were bitter.. just a very mixed bag. The atmosphere is not great either, bad music and fluorescent lights. Fine overall but just go to a market to eat fried fish/octopus/squid whatever you like during the day and go somewhere a bit nicer for dinner. That's my recommendation

10/10/2025: The atmosphere is reminiscent of the Vucciria market: noisy, authentic, and for this very reason, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We chose fresh fish to cook for us and ate it at the tables after a short wait, but there were also many delicious ready-made dishes. Everything was delicious and topped off by the friendly staff, a whole family who know how to make themselves remembered. It was the end of September, so it wasn't very crowded.

12/10/2025: We came to Tenute Plaia with modest expectations, after a few disappointing meals elsewhere. What we found instead was a place of quiet balance, the view and stillness alone felt restorative. We dined on the terrace, overlooking the hills and the sea. The air was calm, the setting serene, the kind of silence that feels alive rather than empty. From the first greeting, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel instantly at ease. The food was exceptional: authentic Sicilian cooking with depth and honesty. Every dish carried a sense of place, clear flavors, thoughtful execution, nothing showy. We were the only guests that evening (perhaps because we came early around 7 PM), but the solitude made the experience even more memorable. In essence, Tenute Plaia doesn’t aim to impress, it simply delivers truth through simplicity. A place where food, landscape, and calm coexist naturally.

28/01/2026: If it weren't for the €5 they stole... the prices on the menu probably don't match those on the bill. I'll keep my eyes peeled when I return to Syracuse. You can't trust them!

19/03/2026: Seafood appetizers...some totally tasteless..., a plate of RICE with ARTICHOKES and RED PRAWNS...(2 prawns). It's not possible to eat a plate of PARBOILED RICE in a RESTAURANT...(when you have all the time in the world to cook it with CARNAROLI or VIALONE NANO RICE...(in a trattoria with a set menu it's acceptable...in a restaurant NOT!!). FRIED SEAFOOD, honestly...not bad...! (You could certainly do better given the cost). VERSION: I WON'T GO BACK!

19/01/2026: A fantastic find at this restaurant in Paceco, a town near Trapani that's worth a visit for its sheer beauty. We ordered sardine meatballs, pasta with Trapani pesto, and truffled beef. The local wine recommended by the waitress was excellent. I highly recommend a visit.

09/10/2025: Excellent food, truly delicious, refined cuisine with unique dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Excellent wine list. If you're in the Trapani area, you absolutely must visit this restaurant in Paceco. It's a shame the service was so sloppy. They excused themselves by saying they were having a staffing emergency. However, the kindness never wavered.

15/03/2026: This restaurant, located right in the heart of Palermo's old town, near the port, has only a few tables, creating a more intimate atmosphere. It's highly recommended for romantic evenings. The cuisine is traditional yet innovative, with delicious dishes that will tantalize all your senses! We were served by the owner, who was incredibly polite and friendly, always smiling, and offered excellent recommendations! Dining at this restaurant was definitely a great choice!

29/09/2025: The best restaurant we visited in Sicily. Located in the beautiful mountain town of Campobello, it's family-run. The people are warm and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. They serve wonderfully delicious and affordable pizza from the wood-fired oven. They also offer delicious and unique seafood specialties. We stayed in Campobello for a few days and ate here every day. I can truly recommend everything on the menu. Outside, there's a large terrace on the plaza, which also has a small slide and a play area for children.

28/02/2026: The starters were good, but we ordered a first course which, although we had been warned that the pasta format had changed, the octopus ragù was water, the pasta was also broken (for 18 euros you need to be careful)... I feel sorry for the guys but the rating is for the food.

26/02/2026: I've eaten at this restaurant more than once. I go for work, and it's always a go-to. Both the pizza and the fish are delicious.
