09/05/2026: We booked well in advance in the afternoon. We arrived at the restaurant after a 40-minute drive, but we didn't have a table. We stood for about 15 minutes before they found a free table, despite our reservation. Once we were seated, after half an hour, we didn't even have glasses, and despite repeatedly asking, they served the next table first, which arrived after us. Rude staff. The place is so crowded that they can't manage it, causing such inconvenience. A disgrace. Never again.

16/04/2026: A truly beautiful B&B with a view of Porto Empedocle... the owner is very kind and helpful, a wonderful person!!! Top-notch cuisine, very high flavors and quality, very good!

10/06/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and it was a wonderful discovery. It has a truly beautiful terrace overlooking the sea; we watched the sun set right from our table. It's definitely a place to visit in the evening for the view and, of course, for the food.

10/06/2026: Just steps from our accommodation in Macari, we dined on the terrace at sunset, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The service was courteous and smiling, quick and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant, intimate, and charming. The dishes were carefully prepared and presented simply and elegantly, with just the right portions. The busiate pasta with Trapani pesto and the swordfish cutlet were excellent, perfectly crispy until the very last piece. The desserts were delicious. The prices were in line with other restaurants in the area; we paid a fair price for the quality.

06/05/2026: Antica Sicilia is a guarantee: a typical Sicilian seafood restaurant for over 25 years. I returned after a long time and had a truly wonderful time. The owner is excellent, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. The restaurant and staff could use a refresh, but the experience remains absolutely positive.

09/06/2026: I ordered a mixed grill for €15, and as per the attached photo, I received a paltry plate with a small slice of swordfish, a squid, and several squid heads.

01/06/2026: A decidedly negative experience. The first thing that struck me was the lack of a clearly displayed menu with prices. You order without really knowing how much you'll spend, and the surprise comes when you get the bill, which in my case was significantly excessive for what you consumed. A small plate of shrimp cocktail for 10 euros, very small portions, and prices that increase disproportionately if you ask for something extra. You never feel like you're clear on the true cost of what you're ordering. The service was also subpar: there was little courtesy and little attention to the customer. In particular, the man with braids at the counter was rude and unprofessional. Price transparency, fairness, and courtesy should be fundamental aspects of any restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of these standards, and I wouldn't recommend it.

01/06/2026: Delicious food, generous portions. Everything is grilled on the sidewalk, creating a unique atmosphere. We were here with people who have lived in Palermo for a long time and recommended this place for its fresh dishes, "street" atmosphere, and reasonable prices compared to other places serving similar dishes. The fish and seafood were fresh. There were eight of us, and the bill was 160 euros. We had seven main courses, fries, appetizers – snails, boiled and fried octopus, bread with olive oil, a jug of wine, two bottles of water, and a limocello. We will definitely return on our next visit and recommend it to others who visit.

07/06/2026: The food was quite good, but I was perplexed by the bill: €8 for a glass of Calamossa Mandrarossa seemed excessive, and I also found the price difference between the two coffees charged (€2 and €1.50) unclear. It's a shame, because the quality-price ratio and the transparency of some items on the bill could be improved.

05/05/2026: Expectations were high, but then... an absolute disaster: the mixed seafood grill was of questionable freshness; it was dry and stale, like leftovers from someone who couldn't bring themselves to eat it. The spaghetti with strange ingredients was so overcooked it became mush. The mixed meat grill consisted of a skewer of pork pieces, a small slice of beef with long-shriveled edges, a sausage, and a chicken breast so thin and dry it looked like leftovers. We were incredibly hungry, and the stomach aches were even worse for those who ate the spaghetti... If the owners had a real chef, this wouldn't have happened. We definitely won't set foot in the restaurant again.

19/04/2026: It's a superb restaurant. The dishes are generous and delicious. The decor is very nice. The prices are reasonable. It has the ambiance of a Sicilian restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and professional. Plus, they're very pleasant.

24/04/2026: The B&B recommended this place to us, and I can assure you, the food is excellent. We chose two pizzas (a paesina and a salmon one) and they served them quickly. The atmosphere is very relaxed, so you can chat and enjoy the food.

12/04/2026: I had the opportunity to dine with a group of friends at the Ariston restaurant in Enna and would like to share my experience. The pizza was truly delicious, a plus! As for the prices, I found them to be reasonable for the area, which is a positive aspect. Overall, a pleasant experience.

26/12/2025: The place was packed to the brim. The food was decent (everything tasted better before), but the service was poor... we had to ask for a Pepsi and more wine three times, and in the end they even scolded us for asking for a different waiter... that's just not right... the prices have gone up, but the quality hasn't!!!

11/12/2025: Excellent from every point of view; the house menu includes a myriad of raw and hot seafood starters and two tastings of first courses.

17/05/2026: We went there with some friends from Israel and were really impressed. The fried food in a pan was delicious, crispy and dry. We ate very well.

12/04/2026: We had lunch today and had a wonderful meal. We shared a platter, a bowl of fish arancini, a bowl of chips, and a bowl of chips and calamari. Everything was delicious; the platter was more than enough for two people and was delicious. The fact that everything was gluten-free was wonderful, as my celiac partner was able to eat everything without any risk of getting sick.
