17/11/2025: We had lunch à la carte. The atmosphere was small but well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and courteous, but the menu was a bit limited in its selection of dishes, with plenty of aesthetics but little substance.
The prices? In line with local restaurants.

15/10/2025: Small place (max 45 people), but that's okay. Scaletta Zanclea is a small town on the Messina/Catania coast, run by a husband and wife team. Egidia works as a waitress, and Mario is the excellent pizza chef. The pizzas are varied, the dough is very good and easy to digest, and the price is reasonable.
If you're passing through Scaletta Zanclea, take advantage of it. It's definitely worth the effort. 😉

26/09/2025: It's worth coming for the entire range of fish "antipasto" appetizers. Served in small portions, one after another, on multiple plates :) Delicious and fresh, tried many times and always delicious. Spaghetti with seafood... mmmm :) I RECOMMEND

19/10/2025: The flavor of the dishes we enjoyed was sublime! Our taste buds were in overdrive! A Catania-style pasta dish that had the authentic family flavor, caponata, fried anchovies, sardines alla beccafico, and tuna with lemon sauce. And to top it all off, a cannoli with an amazing cream.
All this in a family-friendly and authentic atmosphere.
Congratulations to Chanty and her family for their work and their extraordinary ability to satisfy their customers.
Top value for money.
An experience to repeat.
14/10/2025: A small deduction for the forgotten caponata, and we actually had to get up and order inside because the service simply didn't pay us any attention. Friendly nonetheless. The food and atmosphere were fantastic!

09/12/2025: Once we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome that, despite the winter, cheered us up. Matching the warm welcome and cheerfulness of the staff, the meticulously prepared dishes arrived, perfectly cooked and flavorful, far beyond the norm, all topped off by a staff that was more than present, helpful, and above all, friendly. Highly recommended; the chef's skill at grilling is indescribable.
07/11/2025: We went last night to this beautiful restaurant recommended by Fabrizio from Area 51. We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was top notch. We felt right at home, if not better! The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Wonderful people!

23/10/2025: I especially note the rudeness of the owner. At 1:30 PM, when we asked for another course after those already ordered and eaten, he replied that the kitchen had already been cleaned and it was no longer possible to order. Not only that, but 15 minutes later, they started clearing the table completely and cleaning underfoot while we were finishing our drinks (as in, "You've eaten, now go away, we're in a hurry to close.")

04/03/2025: In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in the area. We spent a week on vacation and went there three times. The freshness and quality of the ingredients are excellent. The service is perfect, and
the staff is always ready to offer excellent advice on what to order. Generous portions. I recommend the raw fish because it's sublime. Excellent value. Free parking is available in front of the restaurant.
21/02/2025: Very pleasant location, good food, and a wide selection. The service is good. Prices are reasonable for what you choose, but it's best to get The Fork or similar to avoid any surprises on the bill.

02/10/2025: A very beautiful place on the sea, with ample and convenient parking with access from the main road. The food and wines are quality, though the desserts, I'd say, are less so. We returned after three days.
24/09/2025: A charming place to visit, especially in summer to enjoy the view. The first courses, the desserts, are good, but the selection is limited, and the semifreddo and almond parfait are very icy. The selection of bitters is very limited (only two).
