10/06/2025: Very welcoming place with outdoor spaces. Great variety of choice of sandwiches and pizzas. Everything is excellent, both pizzas and sandwiches. Both Marco and Angelica, owners, are kind, courteous and very professional. The staff is also very professional, putting customers at ease. Worth mentioning is Marta who advised us on the dishes well.

14/06/2025: Escondido en la calle lateral del extremo "Catania" del Corso se encuentra Don Camillo's, un restaurante de gestión familiar con un hermoso comedor exterior elevado cubierto de árboles frutales y suavemente iluminado a medida que se oscurece la noche. Mi esposa y yo nos encontramos sentados entre algunas pequeñas familias locales sicilianas en varias mesas. Y cuando te encuentras con gente local comiendo fuera, sabes que va a ser bueno. Mi esposa optó por el Polpetti, yo opté por el pescado frito mixto, ensalada de naranja y las patatas. Una botella de vino, el calor de la noche, las conversaciones italianas, cierra los ojos y podrías estar entre "tu familia italiana". La comida, el servicio, el precio y el ambiente donde todo "spot on" en términos ingleses. Muy recomendable, volveremos a visitar antes de que terminen nuestras vacaciones.

13/06/2025: He estado visitando este restaurante por más de 15 años, celebro un cumpleaños especial allí y contraté el lugar solo para mis invitados. Vanessa es un anfitrión magnífico, que siempre hace todo lo posible para asegurarse de que tenga una experiencia maravillosa, al igual que todo el personal. La comida es de primera clase, tengo mi favorita que es la polpette di limone, arancia & cipolla insalata con patate rosti! Sin embargo, los mariscos también son increíbles, usted es mimado para la elección. Postres caseros también deliciosos. Siempre recomiendo a amigos y familiares cuando visiten Taormina para asegurarse de que hacen una visita para verla. Deberías hacer lo mismo, vale la pena ❤️

10/06/2025: Locale suggerito dal titolare del b&b dove soggiornavamo: in effetti non è sulla via principale e anche la posizione è un po' nascosta, bisogna scendere alcuni gradini di un cortiletto, per cui l'ingresso non si affaccia direttamente sulla via. Ci era stato detto che lo chef lavora solo pesce fresco, tant'è che se il pescatore di fiducia non gli porta nulla tiene chiuso. Il locale è abbastanza piccolo, caratteristico, pareti in pietra. La cucina è visibile entrando. Menù alla lavagna, ovviamente secondo il pescato del giorno; proposte giuste, non numerose. Abbiamo ordinato filetti di sauro alla griglia e una grigliata mista: ambedue cucinate alla perfezione e abbondanti (nel misto sogliola, calamaro eccellente, tonno in quantità). Con calice di vino e caffè abbiamo speso 50 euro, decisamente meritati e comunque giusti. Dovessi ripassare a Modica sarò senz'altro di nuovo da loro.

27/06/2025: Kinda place that you yearn for. Away from the bustle of the main drag. Absolutely top service from the team and food that you will remember for a long time. Divine Burrata, the MOST amazing carbonara and the grilled octopus which has to be the best so far. Top marks and at very fair and reasonable prices. Excluding drinks €50 for two and we were stuffed.

24/06/2025: My first time at this resort was last year in July. I fell in love right away. Apart from the peace of mind, the staff, the fantastic food, the waiters, the cleaning ladies and everything else is wonderful and exceptional. Then the sea view is wonderful. I am completely in love and the second year I have returned I could not do without it. 🥰🥰🥰

01/06/2025: Excellent service, good pizzas, small pieces, we only found two small problems, 1) the knives (even though they were changed) were not suitable enough to cut the pizza 2) The main entrance of the restaurant is closed, there is a barely visible sign indicating the way to enter. For the rest everything is fine, excellent location, kind and helpful staff, excellent pizzas.

08/06/2025: Siamo state in questo ristorante perché super consigliato da Gaspare, il nostro skipper. Che dire, pesce freschissimo, abbiamo mangiato un crudo spettacolare, spaghetti al nero di seppia deliziosi ed una frittura buonissima! Tutti gentilissimi, ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

15/06/2025: There's a small, free sandy beach. It's not entirely clean in places. A few meters further into the sea, everything's fine. We're there in June. This is the only beach where we can swim without getting a cold shock.

24/05/2025: On the occasion of the Bersaglieri National Gathering, we went from Pordenone to Marsala. We enjoyed the hospitality, the food, the wine that we received at Bottega del Carmine! Not only food, wine and service but also a lot of availability! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

23/05/2025: Hermoso jardín, excelente vino, platos maravillosos, servicio atento. No había un principal vegetariano, pero el primero y el segundo eran maravillosos, y más que llenos. Y el postre... tan bueno.

05/06/2025: Excellent food, I am delighted with the Sicilian food, veal in sauce and vegetables, pork with lemon and very dry fries, you have to ask for bread, the beer is very cold, which is perfect because not everywhere in Europe serves really cold beer. The seasoning has the flavor of farm food, the restaurant is in a narrow corridor where cars cannot pass and the tables are on the street, it is so delicious to have lunch here!!!
