04/08/2025: A wonderful discovery on our first stay in Ustica. The fish was top-quality, divinely prepared, and the service was excellent. Well-deserved compliments to everyone; it was a pleasure to return the next evening.

01/08/2025: I was in Ustica the first week of July with my boyfriend! We ate at this restaurant on two evenings. Excellent service, a nice Sicilian wine list with excellent wine pairing recommendations. The fresh grouper tartare was excellent, as were the fried Ustica shrimp, and why not, their special menu item created especially for us (🫣). The sea-view terrace is perfect for a romantic dinner... 06/07/2025: Unfortunately, the staff here cannot greet, cannot count, and unfortunately not a word of English... they don't care about the guests.

The quality of the ingredients and the chef's creativity left us speechless. The waiter's service was impeccable: professional, attentive, and friendly. An unforgettable gastronomic experience. We will definitely be back! And finally... the wine arrived at the table, and we applauded it!

21/07/2025: Siamo stati da Catania Ruffiana per una cena di famiglia. Come sempre abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Eravamo in 8 persone e abbiamo preso gli antipasti per tutti (Erano 5 portate ma ci hanno omaggiato anche un sesto antipasto) Successivamente abbiamo ordinato 5 primi da dividere. The mussel soup, shrimp cocktail, seafood salad, raw seafood, and a tasting menu were all excellent, accompanied by a very fresh Carricante Ciuri. The price was more than fair. The staff were very friendly and attentive, even suggesting different pairings. Highly recommended.

21/08/2025: We passed through Trapani on Tuesday evening and decided to stop at Bettolaccia to try the local dishes. The positive reviews we'd read were confirmed from the first course. The mixed fried fish was sublime, as were the busiate pasta with Trapani-style pesto, and the "CUSCUSU" with fish broth is this osteria's crown jewel. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the service excellent. The kindness of the entire staff stands out, and even though we hadn't booked and it was already almost 11 p.m., they made us feel welcome. I highly recommend it!

It was a perfect choice: delicious food, fresh fish, excellent service, and a truly charming seaside setting. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing day and if you're looking for good food.

01/08/2025: Amazing restaurant. Very good food. We had pasta, it was really great. This is how Sicily tastes. And the view. It wasn't even more beautiful in Cefalu. We can really only recommend it. It was great! We will definitely come back. PS: the appetizer in the form of octopus and purple ze mashed potatoes was perfect.

11/08/2025: A place you cannot miss if you’re in Taormina! The food is always amazing, you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. The owner, Daniele, is friendly and understanding and the staff are amazing. We come every time we are around. Definitely try Al Giardino!

12/08/2025: Very nice beach, average prices for the season, 23 euros for a spot with two loungers and an umbrella in the sixth row, 28 for the front row. Friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that could be improved is the shower service, for those who simply want to rinse their feet it's 1 euro and a lot, it should be a service included in the entrance fee. The cat is TOP!

19/07/2025: If you are looking for a reasonably priced Michelin-worthy restaurant, this is a good choice. If you are expecting the quality of a starred restaurant, you may be a little disappointed, but overall, in Cefalu, where prices are high, this is a satisfactory level.

03/08/2025: There were two of us for dinner. We had an appetizer for two, a first course for two, and a glass of wine each. We spent €83, a crazy amount considering: 1- Location: next to the road where cars constantly pass and in front of a gas station 2- Food: The appetizer consisted of ricotta, two types of fried food (a mozzarella and a potato croquette), caponata, and breaded peppers. Anyone familiar with the quality-price ratio of food understands that the ingredients in these courses are not expensive, and therefore the €35 price tag for the appetizer seems completely unjustified. The spaghetti with shrimp tartare was good, but the €25 price tag wasn't specified on the menu because it was off-menu. 3- Wines: The wine list offers a decent selection, except that they're priced at double, if not triple, compared to a hypothetical purchase at a wine shop or supermarket. Fortunately, we opted for two glasses. I hope this is a strategic choice due to the high season, even if it's unjustifiable. Thank you for the kindly offered lemon sorbet. The service was pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially to tourists. The review isn't about the quality of the food, but rather the poor value for money.
